Man I just can't stick with a DND Group. I'm aware I feel pushy at times but I never intend to push anyone into doing anything. I'm just feeling so dejected at this point.

In general I've given up play by post roleplaying. I only check on occasion due to how NO ONE commits to forum posting in my over ten years of experience.

Bio

I'm one of the surviving members from the event known as Guild Fall. I am a big fan of Mobile Suit Gundam and am very specific on what I want in a roleplay. I have completed two roleplays (one is debateable) and have over six years of roleplaying experience dating back to when I was in Middle School.

Yes. You can go, and post basically you were brought in just after everyone was sent off, and were waiting on people to come back.
@Zelosse figured you'd want to know about this.

In the year 2126, a Dive Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game or DMMORPG called Yggdrasil was released. It stands out among all other DMMORPG's due to its unusually high ability for the player to interact with the game. After an intense 12-year run the game servers are about to be shut down. Within the game exists a guild, The De Ordine Imperii (or Empire of Order to those outside of the group), once consisting of numerous members and credited as one of the longest lasting guilds in the game. Now only a of the members remain, the others have left the game, or unable to return for the game's ending for one reason or another. Of those members only a handful remain in time to say goodbye to the game that they have devoted so much time to. In order to celebrate their long lasting friendship, and their openness to other players they have hosted an open guild party for the remaining players who wish to participate in the final hours of the guild. Their guild hall known as Grand Arce Bellum. A grand white marble palace that few have conquered. Boasting renown warriors and talented clerics the guild was not renown as a 10 ten guild but a long lasting one as it had started almost shortly after the guild system was first introduced officially.

When the shut-down time arrives however, it would appear that the people have not logged out...Instead it appears as if Yggdrasil has been recreated as its own reality along with its various NPCs having been brought to life while the group at the party have been trapped in the form of their game avatars, leaving him unable to use the normal player functions, such as General Message, or even to log out. With no other option, the new Empire of Order prepares to find out what has happened...and if they can return to their new world. The world has become much more interesting than it use to be...

Rules:

1. All basic roleplay rules apply modding, meta gaming, and even god modding in this setting are restricted.

2. For whatever reason I reserve the right to not allow something into this roleplay. For better or worse I may reject something outright as right of gm.

3. I will be limiting the people who can be max level off the bat. Why? Because while Overlord is all about a power scale discrepancy between Momonga, and others that sort of thing is ill fit for a roleplay. If everyone is overpowered then how do I, as GM, stimulate an adventure where we can't just walk into a kingdom and destroy everything they have with our pinky fingers. You may be a high level but at a point I will be asking people to lower themselves down in order to make am more diverse cast.

4. World level items, and such are restricted on a case by case basis. You may ask to have one prior to the rp but I will apply rule 2 as I see fit.

5. Players who are missing for a week without notification will have their player characters killed. I will not tolerate a dead halt in the roleplay.

6. While I will be gm I will be expecting players to make up their own adventures as well. If you don't wish to go with the main group you may make a side story elsewhere. However if it is to have a long lasting connection to an overall plot please include myself in planning it.

7. While traditionally a humanoid guild Empire of Order will be allowing non humans into the guild hall before then. The NPCs won't respect non humans but they won't attack you on sight as per orders of the other 'high beings' in short you may be undead, or a lizardman if you so desire.

8. The character sheets will heavy in terms of building due to the style of the roleplay. Meaning BIG Cs's. I'll leave the old skeleton below to give you an idea. The only reason this isn't advanced is due to my own dislike of massive paragraph requirements per post, and that advanced doesn't ever bite with my rp ideas. You don't need to stack all your abilities at once you can come up with more as you go.

9. Another note relating to the seventh rule: Npc's are heavily biased. They aren't going to fawn over anyone who isn't a high ranking, or long reigning member of the aforementioned guild. In fact they may very well be heavily disrespectful to undead outsiders because they were all programmed to practically worship 'humanity'. They revere humans, and humanoid people like elves because that's what the heavy roleplaying guild founders wanted them to do. They will still refer to you as a higher being, and give a grudging acceptance to say a lizard man but they will probably do so sarcastically. Think of non humans/outsider guild members as jews were treated in the middle ages. Treated with Disdain because they are strange, foreign outsiders.

A quick disclaimer: Why did the previous rp die? Lack of activity. Two players posted one of which was at a castle scenario I hadn't planned for, and the other was pondering if they were going to stay. The other two flat out quit posting when they only needed to answer the simple question of: "Will you let the overgrown lawful good tank stomp out the npc's".

"Why is your character slated to be Emperor/Basileus?" Because as GM I need to have control over what is happening. Do you have a better idea for a long running member of the order who can properly lead a group of sociopathic roman warriors while promptly keeping the other player characters in line? Well you're free to submit the idea so go ahead if you really want to be the pseudo figure head.
In answer to the community question I have roleplayed before the site though if you can call what I did roleplay was rather poor. My first set of experience was a dumb 'faction war' style roleplay on youtube. I was thirteen at the time and made quite a few enemies but in my defense the only thing I had done before was rpg bioware games like KOTOR. The mods were ok people but there were some assholes. I myself include myself as one but I once again plea that I as out of my element, and no one actually gave me a real 'this is how you roleplay' sort of deal so I sunk, and swam my way through. While I won't got into the specifics I eventually left, and joined that specific roleplay about four times roughly. In the end i am still of the opinion that it was poorly handled, unfriendly to new players, and heavily biased. The battle system, if what you can call that clutter as a system, was handled entirely through quick posts on chatrooms.

It was awful. I may have contributed to that in my own way but that is the past, and I'll leave it where it should be. I have had no contact since I last left the group and I think at this point that is for the best as that was an uncomfortable part of my life I'd rather leave behind.

After, and during my switches from that roleplay I also joined a star wars roleplay which was handled fairly well by the mods. But the players...they were also shitty people we all god modded, and bull shitted our way through a 'faction' oriented system like the Jedi Order, Empire, Yuuzhan Vong, and other factions people never heard of like the corporate sector, who was headed by a guy who made everything about the soviet union and at one point even threatened to kill me in a real life which scared me as a young growing up adolescent kid. The roleplay spluttered, and flailed around in a poor excuse of life until dying roughly around 2013 or so. The real life politics brought up were stupid, and no one actually knew what was happening in battles as details were vague in a post by post system. By the time that was done with it was dying, and despite my own ideas, and efforts in trying to help keep it afloat like sectioning off the few remaining factions into specific systems. It died a sad slow death. I am still subbed to the head mod on youtube though he hardly makes content anymore. He was a really cool guy who handled all the bullshit really well from my recollection but even he had his fair share of bs when it came to the empire's redundant amount of super weapons.

And then I came here not sure what expecting I had to learn a whole new style of roleplay. I fell in with a group on casual that now largely doesn't exist from a fairy tail to a naruto setting and the god modding by the gms were pretty shitty. I was not, and still am, not a very good gm but I still don't make blatantly overpowered characters for the setting I base myself in like some of the people in that group tended to do. Though I did at the start do something like that because, as I said, I lacked true roleplaying experience, and as I'm sure you can tell by reading I didn't exactly have the best roleplaying background up until that point.

I went from casual to free for a bit where I actually FINISHED A ROLEPLAY, though that was less the gm and me forcing the group through the mud in some bull shit convoluted plot that somehow worked. It ended rather abruptly on a cliff hanger and the rp follow up on my shoulders died. I then went to casual, and sometimes to advance where I lurk today.

That's pretty much my story i'd say if I never clicked on that join button in want of an actual rp experience I'd still be a shitty roleplayer. I'd have no idea where I'd be exactly now if I didn't join but that's something alternative timeline vance can deal with.
i'm feeling better at the moment. What should i be doing at the moment?
Leon looked over with a bit of confusion to the lady who had just arrived just after him with a bit of skepticism...did she really have what it took to summon an ancient spirit? She seemed a bit...out there she looked like she was a mage of some skill but was really flustered about Poland of all things in specific. "Um Miss it's just Poland. I've never been there before but our objective isn't sight seeing its fighting we'll probably not have to worry about the local area so much as the Grey Family's Castle." Leon said as Anderson stifled a chuckle. He looked at Cassandra with a smile, and nodded his head before speaking, "You have to understand lass the world itself is a vast place. More over we will probably be arriving by way of connections through The Mage Association. If you want help I can lend you some of my own supplementary materials on the Polish people, and language. But YES we have to go to to Poland because the Grey Family ain't moving from Poland. We can't exactly achieve our goals if we don't make a move to do so." Anderson stated politely as he kept his creepy grin on his face.

Director Orson looked at Cassandra with some embarrassment on his face. He looked at her with a stern face in comparison to Anderson. "I thought we already informed you of the location, and its place? Regardless you were given the task of finding a proper catalyst at the very least. Look if you don't have one we will loan you something from the vaults here. You don't get to pick the servant behind it. The best you can do is invoke Berserker. Unless you know a relic is specifically made to tailor towards one individual person like a sword from that specific warrior. You're objective is simple: Fight. Fight, and defeat the family Grey. They are disruptors of the balance of the world. Fools who seek greed. You are no tourist. You are an anchor. A human designated to make a greater being able to stand in this world. A in between. You will fight yourself when needed but you need only rely on the person in front of you the servant bound to you once it is summoned.." Orson said with a cold disregard for Cassandra's silly comments about lack of preparation. They needed good warriors not novices. He wondered if his superiors, and fellow directors weren't fools for picking these specific people.
@Eviledd1984 If you're still in this you can have your character just be in the stray sheep when everyone arrives.
As everyone from the distraction group had managed to arrive at the destination they saw at the end of the tunnel was a cloaked figure in a large trench coat leaning against the wall smoking an electronic cigarette. As the villains approached the man grumbled, and pulled away a cloth hiding his face, and revealed himself to be Kazuma. Kazuma grumbled, and rubbed his eyes. As the dimly lit subway was hard to see in Kazuma pulled out a flash light, and looked down at a photo in front of him. "You guys better hurry up this time. No lolly gagging. We DON'T cops finding out about me." grumbled the transporter as he moved to the very end of the subway. As he did he once more moved his hands outward and ripped open another portal this time directly to the stray sheep where their commander was located at.

As the group entered they found themselves in front of a kneeling Karma with a strange device around his head in front of Shade Walker as he held the boy in front of him. As everyone was accessing this situation Dieselpunk entered through the front door as the thugs had dropped her off at a safe zone before going through their business. A few greased hands had assured everyone that the cops wouldn't be able to chase them properly. "Greetings everyone...perhaps you are wondering why the mental boy was not with you during the heist...and it turns out he was planning to sell you all out. Before he left I had grabbed him, and managed to slip on this device made by our good mad doctor back at HQ...He is of no harm to anyone here now his brain is being scrambled by signals coming from this device...and now the only question remains...does anyone here wish retribution? Or shall I do it? Because one way or another he is a dead boy. And more over this should be a lesson to the new crew." commented the hooded figure as he placed his down ontop of the boy's head. It would be a simple matter to phase through his skull, and crush his brain, or down through to his heart. But he also had a gun on the table. The safety unlocked. It would seem that things were going to end bloody one way or another.
As I said I'm sick/indisposed at the moment I won't be able to post for a day, or two.
