devaronian is the race you're looking for. They're basically thugs for the hutts for the most part.

Man I just can't stick with a DND Group. I'm aware I feel pushy at times but I never intend to push anyone into doing anything. I'm just feeling so dejected at this point.

In general I've given up play by post roleplaying. I only check on occasion due to how NO ONE commits to forum posting in my over ten years of experience.

Bio

I'm one of the surviving members from the event known as Guild Fall. I am a big fan of Mobile Suit Gundam and am very specific on what I want in a roleplay. I have completed two roleplays (one is debateable) and have over six years of roleplaying experience dating back to when I was in Middle School.

In many timelines, and in many worlds heroes fight, and they strive to seek their goals be it to save their friends, and comrades, or to help the people. Maybe seem just strive to seek an absolute truth. In seeking that they set out on a journey, and unending quest to reforge society, the world, people, you name it. But at the end of that journey...what exactly is left? They fight the villains, rescue friends, and see that the world is better than what they left it. But often they lose friends, and comrades along the way...sometimes they lose their lives. Many folks worship their sacrifices as heroes. Others die prematurely a strict showing of fate's innate cruel nature. Some die old, some die young. It matters not but what they accomplished.

In seeking the truth of the world they sacrifice, and they struggle. The never ending heroes journey...but what happens after that death exactly? What happens when they last see their love as they pass away, or struggle out a smile to wish their friends a better future? Maybe they died alone?

In a mansion in the void of all reality resides a place, similar enough to a hotel of sorts. A being lives isolated from all but the most demonic, or angelic beings. This being unknowingly powerful, and unflinching honest sits as the last judge of many of these heroes. Some float past him, but many are forced to acknowledge this one. Alone in the world with all but a young man clad in a white suit, and fedora with blonde hair who serves him as an assistant.

This being brings together the lost souls of the fallen, or deceased heroes, and offers them a simple deal. It starts with a simple question: "Are you satisfied with your life? How you lived? How you died? Your accomplishments? Your legacy, and failures?"

The Being is simply above such petty things, and whether he truly cares for the answers, or not is pointless.

The follow up question is more important.

"An offer I give to you. A simple one. Trade yours services to me. Fight for things that should be, must be, and will always be. A sentinel of a fate. Your soul shall be bonded to me, and this place. You may continue your fight. Not in your world but in many others. Things that must be are not, that's that must be do not, and will always be are for some reason never. You will be bound heart, soul, and existentially to this role. In exchange once you have passed enough trials. You may choose...reincarnation back into a world, the rekindlement of your old life to start back as if you had never died, or simply to fade away. You may always chose to walk away. To accept death truly, and utterly. Tell me hero? Are you satisfied? Or do you wish for more?"

"But this is not immortality. You may die completely soul, and body if you fall while bonded to I. This place, this world will be your haven, or your hell if you make it be so. That is up to you."

In this place be it hell, or Valhalla, or a chance to save others this being offers another chance. And by accepting it you chose to surrender yourself to the whims of fate. So...is it yes? Or no?

Hello everyone this roleplay will be based around a group of heroes from modern times, or old in an anime esk style roleplay where protagonists, or supporting heroes of their own stories died, and are given the option to refuse death in exchange for their continued skills. Some come from worlds of pure fantasy, of angels, and elves. Some come from the modern world wielding modern weapons. Some from steampunk combinations. Be it normal, or fantasy these heroes all have differing powers, and ideologies. But once the deal is accepted they must do the missions. They are free to refuse but then they won't be able to fulfill their promise quicker. Another world will suffer for their choice one way, or another. Or perhaps benefit.

Due to the nature of the rp power scaling will be taken into account. There will be no world, or continental busters. Think of your traditional non-dbz shonen. I will make sure to weed out any abilities that many be too intrusive. We will have powers, and abilities befitting of heroes but not so much that every fight is a cakewalk. I want a standard run of the middle style hero, not goku, or the hulk.

You may make up your own realities, or take aspects from another. This is not a 'multiverse' rp and will only be accepting OC characters. In a sense yes this is a multiversal roleplay but not one that's traditional mixing strange things like fallout, and the marvel universe. This is mainly meant for original universe mixing together but only under special circumstances. I'm aiming for more of an anime approach to this.

The night was cool, and the breeze flowing calmly through the massive city of Kyoto. All was fine for the moment despite for the random thugs running around on occasion very few things truly harmed the Shogunate Capital. With the world in a state of chaos however it was clear that was not to stay that way. Kyoto, and Edo would likely find themselves on fire if things went wrong. The Imperialists were brazen, and so were the men who fought for them. Calling the Shogun a outdated piece of history meant that the whole of Japan must change if they were to take charge. An Emperor must always sit on the throne to guide the Japanese people to victory. But would it truly be the same with whoever the southern allies in Choshu picked to be the successor? The end of the Tokugawa would mean many things. Too the Shinsengumi it meant an end to their role as Samurai. They would not allow the foolish Imperialists to end their great tradition.

It was on this night that the 15th Squad met together with Captain Saito of the 3rd Unit, and Captain Okita of the 1st. The Shinsengumi has received a leak from concerned citizens about an invasive Imperialist Syndicate Group forming in the city ready to do the will of their leaders. It was in the house of a local Daimyo in the city that the Shinsengumi meet today. In a fancily furnished room with ornate decor. The dining room was were the Shinsengumi were meeting. Saito, and Okita sat stationary on their ends of the table while Fujimaru Kozuki sat on his side. Saito's team were out patrolling, and Okita's unit were in a different area nearby. Fujimaru's unit was chosen to be the primary unit located in this meeting area for the moment.

"Saito are you sure that the information is correct? We may end up walking into a trap if this is not carefully considered." Fujimaru questioned the man who frowned and nodded his head. Saito's facial features were terrifying even to his allies the man had skill that rivaled any true samurai. "Yes I assure you it is I had my own men check up on it. The Imperialist shadow teams are set up on the four corners of the city, with one more sitting in the middle. They've been very careful but a few of their mistakes have given them away. We will be able to get in by surprise, and kill all of them with minimal difficulty I would think." Saito stated to the group present. Fujimaru wondered if Saito was judging things based on his own standards, or not. It was difficult to imagine this wasn't some sort of plot. "I'm more worried about this thug they call 'The Mad Dog of Kyushu" rumor has it that he's a talented samurai gone ronin after killing his own master. Others say he is a yakuza boss. Even more say that he's simply a man looking for a blood bath. The lack of information surrounding him makes me believe he is more dangerous than we may think. Still with our skill he should be killed easily enough if we catch him." Okita Souji stated simply as he drank some tea out of a cup. Fujimaru wondered exactly how many of them there were. "I believe the reports state that there's at least thirty men. I'm a little annoyed that so many people could sneak by us." Fujimaru stated calmly but frustration leaked out slightly. "I'm confident they have had help. As I said don't worry we shall root out this weed tonight, and focus our efforts on the Imperialists threatening the city outside of it." Okita said confidently. Saito smirked and nodded his head, "Only fools would dare to fight the Shinsengumi by invading the capital they will know what it means to be true samurai. None shall survive."
@Parallel Hearts I honestly forgot he already finished his master, and servant if he wants to swap go ahead, and no. I cut out a whole section with Leon which leads us to the meeting room with the Director. Leon's part is skippable but the room part still needs to be added in. I'm waiting for everyone to be set up before I finalize the IC.
No issue you have time
well that was anti-climatic whatever doesn't really effect all that much, and good luck to Atomicnut in his future roleplays. I'm feel pretty shitty so I'll make the IC when I feel better be it after a good night sleep or whenever.
Sounds fine to me. I've never said anything about players having to play their own pairs. The only other person to swap with Parallel would be Talon who has no master currently.
Alright ill be lenient and pass the characters
@Parallel HeartsBoth characters seem fine I'd like more details on the master's history if possible. Just to flesh out her backstory better.
@ShiyonichiIf you want to sure but u recommend watching an episode or 2 of the anime first
Alright just a ahead up we're not going to be killing the mad dog in the first meeting.
