@Balthazar007 Good stuff. On a different note, what is the sentiment around beast-men among the human population? Do they view them as equals or is there discrimination? Outright slavery (captured in the war/conquest) is a thing?

@Balthazar007 Interesting. How much in contact with the advanced civilizations are they? Do they have modern conveniences/technology or are they literally a tribal society that are completely isolated?

@Balthazar007 I'm leaning towards someone from the poison fang tribe. I've been wanting to play some kind of snake being. Could you elaborate a little on how beastfolk use magic? Strengthening would be one aspect. Would they be able to eventually control it, like how humans do?
I'll create a regular character probably. Can you talk a little about "magic" as you said in the OP? All organic beings have this "magic"?
I just wonder how powerful regular characters can get. Is there some kind of system in place for these characters to power-up, is it left to us to make it up as we go along, or will regular characters become lackeys of the crystal bearers?

It's mainly the existence of these stones that is similar, the world in that story is medieval/high-fantasy, not sci-fi.
This seems interesting. I can't help but draw similarities between this and the Choice of Games story named "The Soul Stone War".
