Abel tilted his head and tried to pronounce Nejmah's name, which came out sounding strange but incredibly irresistible in his voice and accent. How could something as simple as her name could sound so appealing coming from one person? And when their eyes met again, she found herself beginning to feel warmly about this stranger.

Maybe because he thought he'd said the name wrong, Abel looked away with his eyes closed, and Nejmah was unable to control the way her own eyes feasted on his bare chest. God, was she always like this. Acting mature for her age was something everyone praised her for, but now she was feeling like exactly what she was: still a teenager. Noticing this first encounter was getting awkward quickly (and because she was starting to get overwhelmed about what she was feeling), Nejmah finished picking up her books from the floor and stood up to leave.

"Well, um, thank you for your help," she said in a small voice, holding her hand out for the book Abel had in his hand. For the first time in her life, Nejmah was at a loss for words and actions. The only thing she wanted to do was bow out before she could embarrass herself, even though there was a big part of her that was dying to get to know the man destined to be her soulmate.
@BlackPanther I'm still here, sorry for the delay! College keeping me busy like always, but hopefully I'll get some more posting done now that I'll get a little Thanksgiving break. :D
Hi! I was wondering if there's still time to join this RP?

The man's eyes shifted from Nejmah to her tattoo, where they remained for a few seconds as he seemingly tried to translate his name from Hebrew to English. He kindly asked if she could tell him how to pronounce her name, the adorable accent clearly showing once again, so very different from her own.

Nejmah offered him a shy smile. "It's pronounced 'Neeshma'," she answered quietly, taking a peek at the wrist he was showing her. There, in black ink and bold letters, was her full name in beautiful calligraphy. She secretly let out a breath of relief. After making such a fool of herself at the concert last night over a false alarm, it was a relief to know she didn't make the same mistake twice.

Nejmah's face was scarlet with embarassment, and it took all of her willpower to began to pick up her books without looking back at her soulmate. But obviously, the racket she'd made had no doubt shifted his attention from the book to her. She could feel his eyes digging through her, and soon enough she heard his strides as he came to her aid.

"Um... Hi. the man said with a heavy southern accent that usually made Nejmah cringe, but now suddenly found cute.

Nejmah turned to look at him, her green eyes met his cobalt-blue ones. She instantly found herself lost in them, as if she could stare at them for hours. In that moment, she felt as if a bond had just tied them together, like the universe had been conspiring all this time to bring them together right there and then.

"H-hello," Nejmah blurted out, struggling to even get words out after the epiphany she'd just had. "A-are you Abel? Do you have this too?" she quickly asked the man, pointing at the tattoo of his name in Hebrew on her wrist.
I mean, we could get two of the characters lost in a hiking expedition for a few hours for them to bond, but not having all of them get lost.

That sound good? I volunteer Lila for that. A snob like her getting lost in nature for a few hours should be interesting
@BlackPanther

A few minutes after ten in the morning, Nejmah Hassan's eyelids began to flicker, and then opened slowly. It was one of those cozy and delicious rainy days, those in which you wanted nothing more than to lay in bed all day, watching series or reading a good book with a cup of hot cocoa as company. Days like this always made her feel lazy, so she took advantage that she had the day off to skip her usual routine and instead take herself out for brunch. She got ready in record time, threw on a sweater weather outfit and left her apartment.

On her way home after the satisfying brunch (where she shamelessly had a little of everything, not caring for calories or the hours she would have to spend at the gym to burn them off), Nejmah decided to stop at the nearby library to search for a couple of books that would keep her busy for the rest of the day. As soon as she set foot in the library, the name in Nejmah's wrist began to sting.

She frowned and looked around the library for anyone who might me having the same reaction as her, but there was no one. 'This is probably another false alarm like yesterday's...' she thought in disbelief. But as she searched for the book genres she was interested in, the stings in her wrist turned into a burning sensation, and curiosity ultimately got the best for her. So, Nejmah guided herself through the tall shelves using the burning in her wrist as a compass, until she reached an aisle where the burning was blindingly painful for a second, but suddenly stopped as her eyes fell on a man standing right in the middle of the aisle.

"You have got to be kidding me..." Nejmah muttered under her breath. The guy in front of her was a breathtaking hunk wearing nothing but jeans and a cowboy hat. Droplets of water fell down from his hat, landing on his muscled chest, where they raced down his abs in a very teasing way. He had two tattoos: one of a leopard on his back, and her name in his left wrist.

This wasn't a false alarm after all. Nejmah's soulmate was legit standing right in front of her, having no clue whatsoever that the girl whose name had been branded into his wrist was right there.

Lucky for Nejmah, the guy was completely absorbed in the book he was reading, so much that he failed to notice the way she stood there simply staring at him for a few long seconds, mouth hanging open in stunned admiration of his aesthetic.

As soon as Nejmah realized that she was looking like a creep gawking shamelessly at a stranger, she tried to make a hasty escape before he would notice. But, of course, destiny's plan for her was to be noticed. Nejmah was so shocked at the idea that the man she's just seen could be her soulmate that she failed to pay attention to where she was walking and stumbled with one of the library's small stools. She let out a little shriek, holding onto the nearest aisle for support but at the same time letting go of the books in her arms, which noisily clattered on the floor.
