Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

Alrighty, I can post for Saber now. My next post will be up tonight.
Thanks!
Um, DAWNSTAR, you did an awesome job, but I realized that sandcrabs/Bikura are maybe too big for the role I wanted them to have for the Nem. ^^; Since they're meant to be a major part of Nem cuisine... maybe two feet across instead of four?
I'll be moving events on the Tanngrisnir ahead soon, just need to find all the posts I need to respond to there. ^^; In addition I'll hopefully be introducing Kiyomi soon when I can work out where to actually put her. Edit: Actually I can't post for Dlanor. No Russ or Bjorn posts yet. : (
@SillyGoy, Hmm, muskets and steam engines... I'm not sure what I think about that. Personally I was hoping for something less technological. But I'm not the only one that gets to decide. What do the rest of you guys think? And we can split the humans up between us. I think more than one player would like to have a go at them. But we need some guidelines. As I've written in the game thread, my hope was that humans could be somewhat primitive and "new" compared to the other races. They would be dependent on or fearful of their peers. But, again, that's my private vision, and I'm interested to hear your thoughts on the matter.
Really, I feel like that would greatly depend on the humans location and environment. After all, we vary a whole lot in real life too. ^^; With something like this, where there's so many people contributing and we have a lot of land to work with, it shouldn't be too hard to allow for a lot of different visions of humans. ... Also how do the Nem look so far? ^^;
I'm able to advance things on the Tanngrisnir now, but that'll probably be tomorrow. ^^;
Client Worlds are basically just any world that has said yes to the UMMA's offers of protection. There's also Client universes if it's a universal thing. Client Worlds are usually named by their residents, but in the case of the world with the coffin girl, no sapient residents were discovered so it got a serial number instead.
You can just go to the Client World. You don't have to wait for anyone.
Well, that stems from the ate of posting. I have to make sure I involve everyone I can when I make a GM post. On top of that, you're completely free to get going now.
I think I'm gonna drop out, guys. I haven't had anything to do for a while, and I'm completely lost among the storylines. Cya.
Um... but you were getting assigned to do something very clearly for at least one of your characters.
