I was actually considering trying a villain myself. An antivillain because I'm bad at regular villains but yeah.

It's not because he's a psychotic killer that he's a good villain. And just trying to mimic the Joker does not a good villain make.

Well, they're generic alien/demon X so I'm pretty sure lethal doens't matter as much since you can't really put an alien on trial. But just say if you have a problem with it and I can completely redo the post.

Pretty sure the usual superhero doesn't think it's okay to kill people just because they're not human unless there's no other choice. And given the GM has asked you to change the post uh.

Oh, hes not expanding the portal, more like conjuring one and moving it, or conjuring one, expanding it a little bit, then closing it and redoing the process again and again. And if you want non lethal you should say. Because from what MC can tell, the aliens are going for lethal, and he can't do lengthy non-lethal ways of getting rid of them if his portals only stay open for a couple seconds at a time. And well, he has no problem going full lethal if they're going full lethal. And honestly every hero should do the same thing, I mean, if the joker keeps getting out and killing more people and they DON'T instantly give him the chair, well.... yeah. I could pull that they're super powered arcane bolts or something... I dunno.

They're heroes, is the thing. The only way to kill the Joker where he doesn't win is a legal execution or something like it. If non-lethality is an option superheroes are supposed to take it, it's how it works. I usually don't mind heroic characters killing enemies but this is a special case given what kind of characters these are.

I'm not going to have Bolt kill constantly, but he doesn't care if people die because they're in his way. I do have to voice my concern that our villains are just going to be silly and have no teeth whatsoever, this isn't the sixties people, villains should be able to kill

There's a difference between villains who are threatening and will kill and villains who just senselessly murder all the time.

@KriticalKrabI think you got the wrong idea there. ^^; Basically, um... Hotblood is supposed to be a kind of traditional hero, as in the "highly against killing sapient beings" kind. It's going to be a bit difficult for her to willingly join the team, honestly. <Snipped quote by The Patriarch> ...Yeah, this... This kind of thinking is why I'm always highly critical of people playing villain characters, honestly. ^^;

I'm not sure if the Japanese is right, I'm trying for accuracy since Rei actually is Japanese and frequently insults people in her native language, and it seemed like the right place to use it. If anyone knows I'd like to be corrected if it's wrong. ^^;

Rei grinned. Hah, that got 'em! And it wasn't just the one who got knocked out! The ones who were still aware of themselves had managed to take aim and fire on her, but their shots went wide! Street Dragon quickly ducked low and sprinted to the side, hearing the alien projectiles streaking by around her. Her training by the clan back home made her skills in evasion excellent, needless to say she was adept at what she did. Suddenly twisting where she stood, waiting for the aliens to have to pause and adjust their aim, she gave them a toothy grin as she gripped her katana's sheath in one hand. She wasn't going to kill them, there was no need for that, but she had to draw her blade in order to use some of the weapon's more versatile functions... "Onore! Kore o tabeyo!" she cried, as electricity crackled out from the sheath, dancing in the air as the briefest glimpse of silver steel became visible. "Or if you don't understand Japanese... EAT THIS YOU BASTARDS!" Metal sang as Kouryu was drawn, and blue electricity crackled around it before unleashing itself forwards with an ear-splitting crack. The bolt roared towards the aliens, on a course to strike them all with a powerful, incapacitating shock.

It didn't seem right at all. I mean she's not exactly a traditional hero since she got her start as a street-crawling delinquent, but she's still a hero. Lethality is the extreme option reserved for if she has no other choice, and it's not something she wants to use.

There's a reason I had Rei not even unsheath her katana. ^^; Unless it turns out these aliens really aren't going to be able to be dealt with any other way she's not going to be pulling it out. I'm kind of surprised at how kill-happy a few people have been. I mean they're invaders and all and, say, blowing up their ships okay, but the whole portal thing...
