Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

Sorry, I'm having a little trouble again, hopefully it won't last long.
Where did everyone else go? : (
I am absolutely posting soon, I have a good idea of what I'll actually do this time.
Saten Ruiko

Normally, Ruiko would have had a rather cheerful response to the attention her rumor was garnering. But instead, she was distracted. Kuroko's antics were rather familiar to the black-haired girl by now, but this time the new girl seemed to think that Misaka and Kuroko were actually a couple. As far as Ruiko knew, this wasn't the case, no matter how much incredibly perverse affection Kuroko heaped on her onee-sama.

Well... by this point, Ruiko was just watching and waiting for the fireworks. There was no way to stop it now.

Misaka Mikoto

...

...

...!

That girl... thought they were... Mikoto's face took on a deep shade of scarlet with embarrassment. That wasn't it! That wasn't it at all! This was just... just... and Kuroko has the gall to just say things like that?! She was... she was such a pervert! The electrical current around the Third-Ranked Level Five Esper built and built, crackling through the air around her as her anger and embarrassment mounted. There was only one course of action left to take retaliation for this. All of this! It was just too much, way, way too much! Now some other girl thought they were... were...

"YOU PERVERT!"

With her cry of embarrassment and anger, the electrical current erupted out and into Kuroko. Obviously, it wasn't remotely lethal. The trouble lay more in that it was still a powerful electric shock and those tended to feel somewhat painful, even if it wouldn't leave any injury.
Alrighty, then.
The RP is set in modern day, yes. But given the secrecy of magic it's very, very unlikely they'd be made for World War 2, and especially not on a mass scale. Since they're replicas of human life that require a soul in order to function, getting that soul is the reason they are purpose-built rather than built on a large scale. That and the assembly of raw materials for the body often proving to be a somewhat complex process that requires care. They also don't usually come with expiration dates, as homunculi are built to freeze at either an optimum age for their purpose, or just to freeze at some age where they will function well, and then cease all aging. If a homunculus does die like that, something was done wrong.

And we already have our single homunculus, as well. ^^; Since, while they're not super-rare given how useful it is to have a purpose-built person who has been "programmed" for loyalty and can be "programmed" do do all kinds of things a human cannot, they're not common enough that more then one would be in a single small agency like this, unless Toshiko was actively seeking them out.
Accepted.
Hmmm, well, I suppose that does kind of explain it.

Though not having seen the show, I just want to make sure it makes sense, can anyone who has seen the show give their opinion?
@Dblade26: Accepted.

@duskshine749: Well, with that kind of setup his parents probably wouldn't be too happy... but if you want to go with an alchemist I'd really recommend waiting and seeing what the alchemist we're already going to have(I've been discussing things with the player privately) will be like.

Since the cast is only 5-7 players(just over the "small group" limit), it's good to not have too much overlap. In addition, alchemists are much less common then onmyouji or magi in Japan so their numbers would be smaller there, so it's unlikely there'd be a whole lot of them in one small group like this.
Alright, then.
