Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

Shi, the Quiet Killer

When Shi felt a hand on her slight shoulder, the white-haired girl flinched and immediately pulled away, turning to face the man and clutching the book to her chest, tightly. Why was he following, insisting like this...? Shi couldn't just let someone follow her like that. Her home was intended to be a safehouse, it was where she kept the weapons she could easily transport covertly. And... and he'd be close, and near her home, and that was just something she could barely even think about. Her trembling hands clung tightly to her book, her slender fingers clutching the volume tightly, as her crimson gaze was cast towards the ground, down at her feet. She couldn't even look at him. The slight, small girl was not even sure how to explain that he couldn't follow, and that she would be fine.

Though there was one clear thought in her mind, at the very least.

If he or anyone else followed Shi after she left her home, she had to kill them.

Still unable to raise her head, Shi took a deep, shuddering breath and tried to collect her thoughts in order to speak. Her lips parted slowly as she attempted to respond, slowly backing away.

"... W-w... w... I... b-b-be... b-be f-fine... I-I'll... b-be..."
It's still open to new players, yes.
Vampires

Vampires are an unusual condition of being, a supernatural state of existence caused by the passing of blood, that results in a being that must drink the blood of others in order to survive. A vampire is created when all the blood of a victim is drained, every last drop. Naturally, the victim dies as a result. However, the supernatural properties of a vampire's blood cause a bizarre change when administered to a victim who has died in this manner, though it must be a very rapid replacement. The victim's blood is entirely replaced with the blood of a vampire, their heart resumes beating, and a fundamental change occurs in their nature. This is the birth of a new vampire. They no longer age, and cannot die from old age. The sun becomes a hazard, resulting in nausea and fainting if a vampire is exposed directly to it, in addition to dulling their natural capabilities. Those capabilities are an incredibly enhanced healing ability and a vast increase in both speed and strength. However, food now longer gives them any sustenance. Drink, too, feels empty. The only thing that satiates their thirst and their hunger is the blood of humans. The blood of inhuman beings often causes sickness and, in the case of even False Angels, death.

A vampire gains a severe weakness to holy items, losing the human ability to resist such a thing. In addition, their heart absolutely must remain pumping. If the heart is destroyed, their bodies can no longer regenerate as the flow of vampiric blood ceases. Their heads are also a weakness, as most things die from the destruction of the brain.

As it would be foolish to kill every person they drain from, and some vampires may have moral reservations against doing so, vampires need not drain a victim entirely. Instead, they can drain enough to merely leave that person lightheaded, or drain small amounts from multiple victims in order to fill themselves. As long as the blood is not "spoiled" it can feed them, and therefore it may be stored if a vampire so chooses.

A vampire deprived of blood will steadily lose their self-control as they grow closer and closer to starvation, eventually resulting in a mad, violent monster that slaughters humans and drinks their blood.
Ando Asami, Closer to the Origin?

Asami paused for a moment when she noticed the blonde girl approaching her, and raised one eyebrow slightly. The pork ramen? Well, one of the chief scents she'd smelled when she had entered the shop had been the delicious pork... it sounded like a good option, at the very least. And she didn't want to dawdle here... no. The redheaded mage had no desire to waste her time, not today. She was going to eat her fill and then leave and prepare as much as she could. Still, talking to this girl wouldn't hurt at all, now, would it?

"Thanks for the advice," she said, brightly, "I'm Ando Asami, it's nice to meet you, Muneyama-san."

Asami returned the girl's casual wave with a smile. In spite of how friendly the girl seemed to be, she also looked like she was taking this matter extremely seriously. Perhaps she was just being very serious about her pork ramen? Whatever the case may have been, it made for a quick decision on Asami's meal. This would ease the work of the busy girl behind the counter, as well make it so she got her meal more quickly and as a result could leave just as fast.
@Billsomething: I... guess? I'm not the main GM though. ^^;
@SilverDawn: I really hope you get better quickly. : (

@Dead Cruiser: Vampires don't work that way. ^^; They don't have to drain lethal amounts, and they can go for multiple different people to drain a bit from in order to get their fill without leaving anyone dead. They can also drain enough for someone to be very out of it but otherwise fine. Also, vampirization requires intentional input from the vampire in question. It wouldn't do well for remaining not dead if every time you bit someone they turned into a vampire. Someone would pick up on it at some point.

Please ask beforehand if you need to know something about this. ^^; I'm probably doing vampires next on the universe bible to make things clear about them.

Shi, the Quiet Killer

"..."

Shi's limbs felt dead as she stared up at the man. She didn't know what to do. He was talking, and... and there was her book. He was offering her the book back. The tiny white-haired girl's body trembled, those crimson eyes fixed wide. She was so embarrassed, and in such a panic that she had bumped into someone. And now he was talking to her and reaching out to give her her book back... Shi's mouth opened, and once more no words came out. Finally, her trembling hands raised to slowly take the book, pulling it from the man's hands and quickly clutching it against her chest, as if to use it as a shield. She shimmied back, away from the man, feeling as if he was too close, averting her eyes and looking towards the crowd as she drew her knees up towards her chest, the book between them.

When Shi finally answered his question, her voice was barely a whisper.

"... G... g...g-going... h... h-h-home..."

With that, she shakily rose to her feet and turned, unknowingly facing her observer and proceeding to attempt to quickly walk away. She couldn't handle it, all these people... and she had to hurry. She had to.
@Billsomething: You did not edit pulling the broom out of Kohaku's hands away. You need to edit that, and frankly you also need to blank your last post because you didn't let @Rin respond. That's really not okay.
Okay, so I'm not going to be here most of today so if anyone posts I'll just be replying later when I get back.
