Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

With Rika I want someone who's going to be exasperated by how stubborn she is. And how she tends to whack people who anger her.

Chie... can be anyone, though preferably someone not as laid back as her.

Also, it's too late for bio stuff. ^^; I'll look into it tomorrow morning.
@Takashi: Oh right, that looks good. Accepted.
Okay... People who have pairings or character types in mind, start discussing pairings.

Anyone left over/who doesn't care too much can get an RNG pairing.

This way we get both methods.
I'd like to clarify that this isn't anything as simple as pairing up lab partners at random or something.

Due to the importance of compatibility, after graduating together, a Tuner-Receiver pair is intended to be permanent. They're intended to work together from then on. Since, well, they're compatible. It's hard enough building that kind of relationship the first time.

This is part of why I'm not really certain on RNG, and if I did do it it'd be a much more limited version of it.

That and some people might have a specific type of character they'd like to be paired with or something like that. I do with Rika, for example.
Once everyone gets an opinion posted I'll decide what I'm doing.
Well, the idea was just grouping characters by personality, then using RNG from there to arrange them in pairs in order to pair up characters that seemed like they'd be entertaining and interesting together.
@Urbanliner, @TrixyTrix: The RP is definitely still open. I would have said otherwise. ^^;

As for the pairing matter, I'm definitely going to be waiting for more opinions. It's more of a split then I thought it was and more people are for manually pairing up then it seemed.

Of course, I really didn't want to do total RNG in the first place, but I had a system that involved grouping characters by personality type.

That being said, I was more in favor of manual pairing anyway, but it's ultimately up to my players in this case so we'll see what everyone else thinks.
Um, well... Honestly my issue is that it's real-life plastic explosives, basically. Weapon-type tuners who generate their own weapons tend to have more... extravagant things.

For example, telekinteticly-controlled rocket spears. I'm saying that it should be some kind of flashy substance he can... coat his hands or objects in and then it explodes, something a little more dynamic.

As for pairings... I'm going to ask one more time what people want most for pairing characters. If it's still RNG, I'm not going full RNG and have a system in mind to do it.
Accepted.
@Grey: Would you mind listing the colors since the picture's monochrome? ^^;

@LokiLeo789: Accepted.
