Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

@Tarquin: One character per person, for now at least.
@knighthawk: Appreciate you leaving the stuff about the dwarves vague and can answer any more in-depth questions if you have them in that regard. Anyway, um, looks fine to me, can also answer questions about spirits and stuff if you have them.
... Ah, I missed that edit. ^^; Hold on a moment I'll look through the bio.
@Themerlinhawk: I don't have a map, mostly because convincing landmasses are really hard to draw. ^^;

@Doc Doctor: One big question is how he got to Thaln, since it's basically in your "fantasy Europe" region. Other then that, given his history, there'd probably need to be a LOT of work done for him to get into a former holy order, since he was a mercenary with a reputation for bloodthirstiness and cannibalism and all. ^^;

I mean, I'm not saying it's completely impossible but it'd be much harder for him to join then, say, a Knight Errant or something and there's no real note of it in his backstory.
Well, I mean, I imagine different types of straightforward knights would be the majority of characters really.
I don't see any issues with this. I never really had there being hill people in Velt, but I also never said there wasn't, so... accepted!
Alright.
Further south there's arid regions and a desert, where the Nem live.
Only because someone's been talking to me about a similar idea, and two people with basically the same character role is kind of not great for both of them. ^^;
I've been talking to someone about something similar to the first.

The second... um, sure? I don't see any problem with that setup.
