Current I think watching fight scenes can help in general terms with writing combat, since it can give you an idea of flow and choreography.

At least if you're writing something you know, with knights.

I mean, depends on what you're writing, and the tone and theme of what you're writing. Trained armored knights were legitimately monstrous on the battlefield, so looking up how they fought helps.

As much as there's a lot of reasons twitter sucks, I genuinely don't want to see it die for the sake of all the artists who now rely on it. Hoping the shithead stops trying to directly administrate.

roleplayerguild.com/posts/5… If anyone's up for fighting some kaiju, why not try out my new RP, Godzilla: YATAGARUSU?

Some nobility are privately of the belief the order is no longer needed, but the order itself is still thriving and it has a lot of friends as well.

It's why anyone wanting its downfall has to be secretive and careful about it.
I mean, that's fair, it's just that the Iron Rose knights and their status are well-known. It's a hard mistake to make.

That being said, a possible explanation is "surrounded by all those noble knights might keep in on the right track" sort of thing or something?
It's... in fairness, I hadn't fleshed out many other orders in Thaln.
At the least, currently the order is much more secular now. More associated with the Crown then the Church, dedicated to defending the land and the innocent. Not to say it wasn't like that before, but the religious bent is unofficial now.

The Iron Rose Knights are 200 years old and very popular publicly, though some nobles don't like them. The Crown is a pretty big fan, especially the Princess, and they're frequently used to defend citizens of the Kingdom and destroy criminals and raiders, and dangerous monsters such as dragons. If a dragon shows up and Thaln, you can bet the Iron Roses will be the ones sent to deal with it.
@pugbutter: Okay, I missed the skills section.

The Iron Roses are the most famous order in the country, however, and have repeatedly been sent out to deal with dangerous threats.

However, aside from that he looks pretty much fine honestly?

Though... I have to say, the other character tied to him... this is not the place to make money or anything like that. And sociopathy won't endear him to the rest of the order at all. ^^;
Okay right off that bat um...

The Iron Roses are not in decline and I have to question sending someone to an order that just lost its previous captain in battle a few years ago.

I also can't help but notice he has no skills section, and while I'm familiar with some medieval weaponry I can't name anything or understand its traits off the top of my head, so a bunch of pictures doesn't help so much.
Kitagawa Miyu

When the Outbreaker stormed off, Miyu's face returned to her hands and she let out a long sigh. What was she supposed to do? It wasn't her duty. It wasn't her job to handle these kinds of things. And so, especially with the circumstances that had occurred moments earlier, she was near her breaking point. It was likely any further embarrassment would lead to her collapsing into an awkward heap. She didn't say much of anything at all, even as she felt the fur of Zann's fox form brushing up against her. So he'd transformed...? That didn't help the situation as much as it should have. And, certainly, what happened next definitely didn't help her situation at all.

Panda hugged her. After a few moments of silence, Miyu felt her cheeks filled with embarrassing heat. Why... what? Why was she hugging her? Why... Why?!

And then came that question.

After a brief pause, a moment of comprehension, the rabbit youkai's quaking form suddenly went rigid, her mouth hanging open. Her cheeks, no, her entire face, was bright red, her ears twitching rapidly.

"Eeeeeehhhhh?!"

So stunned was she that the repeatedly blipping on her console wasn't really noticed yet...

Minami Fuuka

Fuuka was quick to step out into the sunlight. From the outside, the Outbreaker Building was a tall, dark structure... with most of the important things beneath it. Fuuka had never paid attention to exactly why this was the case, but it probably had to do with keeping them safe. Or something. Regardless, the upper floors were mostly office space from what she knew. Various facilities beneath it actually let out all across Tokyo. For example, the mecha could be launched from nearly any point in the city. As Tamako lamented the lack of drinks, Fuuka turned to face her.

"I'll just grab some from a vending machine," she replied, "Don't worry, Tamachan."

Indeed, there was a vending machine right nearby... Without skipping a beat, Fuuka pulled out her wallet and scanned the machine. Taking note of the price, she slipped a few coins inside, enough to purchase beverages for all of them. Ordering one for herself, she was about to look back... when the machine did not vend her drink.

A few moments later, the vending machine now about a hundred meters away and in much less functional condition, Fuuka approached the others with several beverages.

"See? Easy!"

It was about then that a strange sound, a shadow of some sort, whooshed by...

"... Did anyone hear that?"

    • Charisma: B
    • Instinct: A
    • Prana Burst: A
  • Noble Phantasms:
    • Excalibur - Sword of Promised Victory: An incredibly powerful and holy weapon, a sword that is impossible to break(though this is because it's a Noble Phantasm as well as... being Excalibur). Its most powerful ability is to unleash an immense blast of prana which is capable of killing an immense amount of targets or destroying an entire fortress. She cannot simply repeatedly fire off this this ability, as she lacks Avalon, which gives her a vast amount of prana with which to use for Excalibur. She is also unlikely to use it if there's a risk of collateral damage or killing allies. At most, she could manage one shot per day if there's no risk of collateral damage or killing allies.
Invisible Air: Invisible Air, which is capable of becoming a sheath that renders her second Noble Phantasm invisible. It can also be used as a projectile.
  • Personality: Saber is strong-willed and stubborn, as well as very brave and utterly determined. She suppresses her emotions in most situations, though social situations often bring out her insecurities. She considers herself as a knight first, before anything else. Saber holds little mercy towards opponents. As the king of knights, she has a strong sense of honor. In spite of this strong personality, Saber can become shy and withdrawn in regular social situations due to the previously mentioned insecurities, and it is not too difficult to fluster her. She has a deep sense of justice, fitting the legendary King of Knights, and acts respectful to honorable and just opponents. Saber has a deep adoration of good food, very eager to eat any that is given to her. For all her regrets, Saber still possesses a strong sense of pride in her kingship and her knighthood, proudly bearing the title of the King of Knights. Even in all her regret, she will never give in on her ideals and never sink below her morals. She is a knight, through and through. ... That being said, regardless of her insistence that she is a knight before anything else, Saber is often a rather silly girl, easily embarrassed by some situations and naturally drawn to depictions of lions.

Having discussed the matter with @AtomicNut, 'hell' is actually part of the spiritual realm in this.
