@Jeyma

-It composes of about a thousand soldiers, with a hundred or so hangers-on.

-The Captain-General hates that sort of thing, but the company is composed of units each with a sergeant, that reports to him. Therefore, any sergeant and their unit good at deception can get away with some nasty stuff.

Overarching goals can vary from merc to merc. Officially, they just want to make money.But everyone can have their own agenda.
@Vocab

Actually, imperfect world is still in the works, mate. XD

@tex

Strictly human, I'm afraid.
(A collab by myself and Deos Morran!)

The husk launched himself towards Ethan's face, its fingers closing around his neck as the force of the jump knocked the biotic over, the husk pushing down on his windpipe. Instead of fear, Ethan's face showed a mixture of surprise and mild annoyance as he croaked for breath, before a push field launched the husk upwards, to land on a pile of rubble a few metres to his left. The biotic got to his feet, recovering the Paladin he dropped before walking up to the still alive husk, grabbing it by the throat, and smashing its head against the wall until there wasn't very much left of it.

"Pathetic."

He looked up, listening out for the sounds of gunfire that he had follow...well, ditched the team for. He didn't need them anyway. They were there to support him, and he did not need that. I mean, the husk had got lucky, but he had killed it anyway! Looking around for any other hostiles and finding that it was the only one. The floor was covered in corpses of husks, cannibals, a few marauders and a ravager. He didn't even remember killing the last one. Maybe it was the others.

He pulled himself up some rubble, wincing as a shard of glass sent a trickle of blood down his arm before pulling himself over, almost losing his balance and impaling himself on a length of steel rebar before he managed to land on his feet, panting slightly.

God, he was out of shape. Since Benning, he hadn't been in any direct combat situations, just tossing warp fields at targets. Why the fuck couldn't they build target ranges that could safely contain flares? Were all biotics in the damned galaxy so pathetic? What was wrong with a simple explosion rather than all that lifting around like a dainty butterfly stuff? You didnt see guns that lifted people around! Well, from a certain point of view.

He kept low, making sure there were no more husks around. The gunfire was getting closer, and he could hear something else as well. He smiled. A proper fight wasn't far awa...

He heard an almighty roar run through the tunnels, popping his eardrums and making him double over in pain. It took him half a second to realize it was an explosion, and broke into a run, heading for his target. Hopefully it was his...whatever they were, and not cerberus. Then again, if it was, he would finally get to fight something that...bled. Husks just shattered like glass, a pile of husk corpses could probably be cleaned up by a vacuum cleaner. Or something.

Finally, he got to the clearing, charging a flare and...being disappointed. The people he was looking for were there, but most of the enemy had been wiped out and to be honest, that was the thing he was looking foward to most. He would rather destroy an army of husks than talk to people. Plus, he didn't know these people.
He sighed, and loosed the flare, sailing up into the air and shooting down into a group of survivors, exploding with enough force to launch one of the husks towards the other Spectres, with one of them landing unceremoniously a meter away from one of them. Ethan couldn't help but smirk as he saw that happen, and proceeded to walk towards the group like he was on a casual stroll, only stopping to make sure he wasn't stepping in any corpses.

"...Hello. I really hope you are the people i am supposed to meet."

Alria watched and as she was taking heads and depressing the trigger of her pistol and sending shot after shot into the horde of Reapers and trying to find her solace in it. Though it did not come she still continued to thin their numbers and assist her team in keeping the beasts at bay.

Though through her shots and focus on her foes she watched as once again, another one of her teammates charged into the fray and put their lives in grave danger for some reason or another and this one seemed to have no reason but to just shoot at their foes from a ridiculously unsafe angle. However, as he switched weapons to more... explosive options, she watched and saw his line of aiming and before long found his method of reasoning. He was trying to trigger the bombs! Seeing this and despite her trance of revenge she knew what was about to come and in turn she ducked low behind the rubble that she called cover in the hopes of avoiding the blast.

It wasn't too much longer after that that the sudden thud and wooshing of air washed over her hidden space to show that the Krogan's shooting had it's desired effect and the mines had gone off. So to avoid any secondary blasts she kept her head down for a few more moments but finally peeking up and aiming with her pistol down the way to scan for any surviving hostiles. Seeing nothing but dust she knew that she'd need a tactical advantage. Pressing a button on her helmet she started to scan for bioelectric signals often put out by energy sources, power armor, and of course men turned machines. Seeing a few signal sources and identifying them as Reapers she pressed her trigger and send several shots flying at them.

That was when a sudden surge of power flew past her and shook the tunnel with a biotic surge. This of course was not ok in Alria's bookas and her attention was quickly turned to the potential source of the attack. This meant her gun was as well, pointing it directly at the newcomer as she traced back the attack from it's path. Of course this person was walking towards her and before he was able to get too close she heard his voice. In response she said, "Get your head down and watch your fire. We have friendlies present in the area. Her pistol staying on him for a bit more before she lowered it. While she didn't recognize this man, he did fire on Husks and didn't look like a Reaper which most likely meant he was just another member of this crack team. Regardless, his actions could have caused friendly fire... but didn't. So she couldn't be mad at him.

"Keep pointing that gun and me and i'll shove it down your throat."
...is what Ethan would have said, if he wasn't 90% sure that this Turian was on his side. Plus, he was in a good mood. A really good mood. Finally, he had gotten the fight he had been hoping for, for the last few years, and he had finally found the people he was looking for. Today had been nothing but good things happening, the worst being that lucky husk from earlier. Still, that thing was in pieces, and he had moved on from it. He decided not to mention getting knocked over.

He looked at the Turian , noting the armor and goggles and racking his brain to try and remember who it was. He had read the briefing on who he was meant to be working with, but all that went out the window as soon as he saw the first husk of the day. From then on, it had just been various forms of slaughter.
"Nice to meet you too..." He paused. "...erm...You. Turian."
He shook his head, hoping that she would say her name for him.
"And i'm sure the friendlies have their own shields. I didnt aim anywhere near them."
He paused again.
"...did i?"

Alria took a moment to address him and his words but at the end of the day it didn't matter, and technically he didn't fire into allies, just by them and 'by' was up to interpretation as they were out of the blast radius. "It doesn't matter. You didn't hit anyone. Just take cover and return fire." She said fiercely, though it wasn't particularly towards him and instead more or less just at the situation. She hated the Reapers and with only part of the mines going of this task wasn't done.

Turning away from the newcomer and assuming he'd help out in dealing with the issue at hand. Taking aim with her pistol again she kept an eye out for any Reaper signatures and made sure to throw fire and lead at them as she found and confirmed them.

Ethan looked at her if she was insane for a moment, before shrugging and launching a singularity over into a mixture of husks and cannibals, they floated for a moment, before his warp field blew them to pieces, scattering them a good distance around. He would have used flares, but he didn't want to tire himself. He wasnt quite at the high point where he would stop caring about that.

"So..." He said, letting the sentence hang as he remembered what his commanding officers had always told him.
"...you are a Turian. Shot anything interesting today?"

ALria was focused on the fight ahead throwing more attacks into the fray as she could, but that didn't mean she wasn't listening to this new guy and as he talked she really just wanted to hit him. He wasn't taking cover, he was fighting the Husks, but he was also trying to make idle chatter about killing. Where was the tact and the concept of taking the mission serious?

She wanted to shake her head and scold him, but really the mission was more important than a human making smart ass remarks. She wasn't going to even say anything to him until she heard Aegon yell out for the Drell to 'do it' which could only mean one thing. "Get down now!" She called out to him before doing the same for herself.

Ethan's eyes narrowed slightly.She didn't answer him, which he found to be slightly rude Weren't Turians warriors and all? Conversation about destroying things would go well, at least in his head. It made no sense. He sighed, and launched another flare, and another group of husks were obliterated, several of their corpses smashing into other, still living husks.

"I thought you would enjoy shooting things, considering..." he said, before the turian suddenly yelled. He didn't want to get down, but there was an urgency in her voice he hadn't heard before, and he found himself complying.
"There better be a good reason for..."

@SgtEasy

GL mate, poke a lot of people.
@Karos

I dont see why not. There are many ways to read the future in this setting.
@thesquish

Stuff like that is fine. There are plenty of other foreign cultures apart from this land. You can have any kind of fighting style you like, as long as its reasonably realistic.

@Karos

Magic is all indirect, like seeing the future, partially controlling animals and mild healing (like making sure a wound rots slower and infection dousnt set in)

Magic isn't overly powerful. Its kind of Shaman-like, so to speak. Some rulers do have court mages, but they aren't really expected to do much beyond reading fates and making sure the royal family dousn't drop dead of a cold.

There were more powerful magic users once, but they are long gone.
@BlackSam3091

Ah, ok. Mind if i PM you about that?
@Rithy

Fuck it, just make Raiden instead. XD
@Mega Birb

Ive always preferred gutting Kai Leng myself. At least Gerrel had SOME sympathetic qualities.
@PrivateVentures

Probably. His hair is blondish though. And it looks like a birds nest.

And he will never fire upon his own side. well, not intentionally.
