Dornálaíocht is a form of boxing, Coraíocht is a style of wrestling and Batadóireacht relies on kicking techniques. Irish boxing uses bare knuckle style and doesn't utilize a glove. Coraíocht is referred to as Celtic wrestling and features a wide array of trips, mares, takedowns, slams, pins, advancements, submissions, grapevines, and escapes. The most quoted "modern" way of describing the philosophy behind Coraíocht is "use balance and speed to obtain position so that strength can then be applied to the leverage created". Batadóireacht utilized kicks to the shin as well as using the shin to attack an enemy. Finally he is incredibly skilled in the art of stick fighting with a

Personality: Finn is a very lawful individual and has great respect for the authorities of this great nation, but with the corruption and fall of Rage City Finn has decided that it was time to take things into his own hands and take it to the horrible criminal element of his home city. He is willing fight with all that he's got to save his city from the horrors of crime and corruption. Finn is determined in his goal no matter how many schools he has to break in order to liberate Rage City from its terrible fate.
You don't want to piss him or he will give you a taste of what he likes to call the Celtic Fury and try to beat the ever loving shit out of you. He will not back away from a necessary fight and even though he has drive to constantly improve himself Finn will try to chose his fights carefully and will not show off all of his strnegth unless necessary. He firmly believes that a truly smart fighter keeps his capabilities unknown to all enemies. He's also a religious man and views his fighting as crusade against evil
Bio: Finn was the son of Irish American Shamus Mcbride who was one of Rage City's finest police officers and did whatever he could to help the city against the infectious criminal element. His dad taught him the necessities of just authority and not misusing power. Finn's childhood was good, but there was always the shadow of the city's problems not too far behind since his family was middle class and lived close to some of the worse parts of the city.
Ever since he was boy Finn wanted to learn how fight in case he needed to protect himself or those that he cared about. His dad preferred him to focus on his education and not get involved in the dirty business of fighting, but Finn told his dad that it was just for self defense purposes. His dad allowed it and had him taught by his best friend who was a champion in Irish martial arts. Finn was glad to be learning the ways of combat of the Irish people.
With his new skills he defended kids from bullies at his school and had gotten into trouble over his fights with them, but he always told his parents that his choice of fighting were just. Things were fine until the horrible day that his father became crippled. His father had been investigating possible corruption in Rage City's police department and before he could acquire any evidence against those involved, he was shot during an arrest that went wrong.
The bullet went through his spine and he lost the ability walk. Now bound to a wheelchair for the rest of his life, Shamus quit the force and had to retire. Finn was sure that his father's crippling was not just a horrible coincidence and that it was intentional to get him off of the corruption investigation. Now angry with how worse the city had gotten over the years, Finn was more determined than ever to save the city from its fate, no matter the cost.
Finn in his many fights has gotten the nick name Iron Knuckles and he's ready to dish out some rough justice to those that have poisoned his city.
