Hero Archetype: Original
Name: Finn Mac Connell
Alias: The Mighty St William
Age: 28
Team: JL
Powers: Finns abilities stem from God and commands powerful divine powers. When he makes a prayer to God asking to become St William, Finn is engulfed in holy light and is transformed into the armored warrior and thus has several abilities. His power comes from both God and prayer so when he is in a holy place then his body absorbs the holy energy created by prayers to fill his reserves of divine power.

Master Swordsmen: Finn is superb swordsmen and is a master in the German school of longsword fencing. He has also developed a longsword fighting style of his own to fit with his incredible powers.

God's strength: St William is strong enough to lift fifteen tons.

God's speed: His reaction time is quick enough to deflect bullets with his longsword and he can run up to 300 mph.

God's Wrath: St William channels divine energy within to create bolts of white lightning. This power is both harmful to both natural and supernatural beings. The power of this attack is determined by how much divine energy he puts into it.

Hand of God: By focusing his mind St William can move stuff in a way very similar to telekinesis through the use of manipulating divine energy.

God's Mercy: This power allows Finn's body to heal at a slow pace and while it won't save him from death, it can heal fatal wounds after a long rest. Resting on holy ground will speed up the process and rejuvenate him.

Judgement: This is his most dangerous power and it causes him to unleash a large blast of divine energy that burns whatever is in its path. This ability uses up the most divine energy and its destructive power makes it dangerous to use populated areas so this is a last resort technique.

Equipment: His armor is made from divine metals and is tough enough to withstand gunfire and allows him to endure large amounts of punishment. His sword was crafted in heaven and thanks to its divine properties it is very deadly to both the living and the dead. It can cut through all earthly metals except silver. It is especially effective against demons and it is his main method of combat. The blade also has the capability of not killing an opponent by Finn simply willing the blade to not cut too deep into his opponent's flesh.

Weaknesses: Silver is like kryptonite to him and it will slowly drain him of his powers. Pure iron can also get past his divine defenses, and while his well of divine power is large it is not endless and he will run out of energy if he uses too much of it for too powerful of attacks.

Personality: Finn for as long as he could remember has always been a devout Catholic and had cynical view of the modern world ever since he was a young man. He has a deep dislike for artificial life thinking that it is unnatural and an abomination against God. His views became more negative after the technovirus enslaved several heroes and innocents. His powers that he attained from God were a sign to him that it was time to purify this wicked world of the sins of science and all abominations.

For too long has good people sat by and let the minions of the devil bring the world to ruin, these were his views on the current state of things. Finn will not let others insult his faith without some very heated words. Because of his special powers Finn has developed a holier than thou attitude and will look down upon non believers as being misguided.
Appearance:

Brief Bio: Growing up religious in the twenty first century was not easy for Finn do to changing opinions on organized religion and the arguments of the scientific community. Ever since he was a little boy Finn faced ridicule for his Catholic beliefs and school was a hard time for him thanks to bad education system and rampant spread of toxic neo progressive ideologies. He hated having to defend himself and his beliefs from the constant bullies, but it was a harsh reality.

One of the first things that his parents taught him was that the world was cruel and that it was important to never expect society to do you many favors. He was one of the luckier members of the millennial generation because his parents never babied him and they made sure he had good work skills unlike so many of his generation. He also didn't fall into the trap that was collage and took a cheaper route to save him unneeded debt.

So while his childhood had been ruff and full of challenges to his faith, Finn still pulled through with his devout belief in the Catholic church. Carpentry was his chosen career and he moved to Metropolis when he started his job. For a good while he was satisfied with life, that was until Brainiac took possession of Superman and brought the city's villains under his control. In his most desperate hour, Finn prayed to God for aid and he was answered by transforming into a mighty warrior of God.

With his new powers and his hatred of Brainiac and all synthetic life forms reaching new levels, Finn is ready to bring back virtue and faith into this sinful world.
Notes:
So I have had this idea in my head for a bit and I decided to try and do a roleplay based on it. Basically JLT is a comical DC superhero rp that features characters with tropical themes to them. In a way this is somewhat similar to the Justice League International comic where things are more lighter in tone and not super serious. All of the threats that the team will face is going to have some connection to the tropical environment.

The team's headquarters is a giant cruise ship and it is equipped with state of the art supercomputers and all of the necessities for fun and rich living.

Rulest
No excessive arguing in the OOC, try to take it to the PMs if a problem needs to be solved.

I'm GM so my word is final, but I am also open to discussion when it comes to choosing what is fine for the rp.

No God-modding.

Be respectful.

No one line posts.

Try to refrain from speed posting.

Follow the rules.

Have fun.

Character Creation
For characters, OCs are encouraged, but I'm fine with Canon characters as long as they fit the theme. Try not have overly dark characters, this rp is meant to be more comical than serious. Written descriptions or images for your character's appearance is fine. Right now you're only allowed to have two characters, this may change once we're further in the rp.

I can't stand dishonest people. I don't care if you're a fucking racist as long as you have some consistency and stand by your beliefs. That's what I hate about SJWs, they're fucking hypocritical and have so many double standards it's like you won't be able to tell what is right or wrong in their eyes. I'll take an honest enemy over a hypocritical friend any day.

Also I'm getting really sick of people treating Islam like it's a race, a person who criticizes the religion is not a fucking racist for God's sake.
I have that sorting hatted out :P

Though some have kind of naturally labeled themselves, for instance @Weird Tales has basically given Isaak a 100% chance in getting Slytherin.

I was going to ask about that. If it's fine with you then I would be very glad if Isaak went into Slytherin
So for this week in stupid,[not actually this week] apperently Miss Piggy is receiving a feminist award. I think most people would find this insanely stupid given the fact that these feminists are giving an award to a FICTIONAL pig for fucks sake. Not only that, but Miss Piggy also happens to be a complete abusive bitch who treats her boyfriend Kermit The Frog like a punching bag and demands obedience from him. This tells me that these feminists actually want to be associated with female domestic abuse and that being an abusive bitch makes Miss Piggy worthy for a feminist award.... And people still wonder why Anti Feminism is becoming more prevalent.
Isaak chuckled trying to keep himself from bursting out laughing when Brynn thought of Hufflepuff as being an ideal house to be put into. He guessed that being raised by muggles didn't really help a child of magic learn what's what when it came to what houses mattered. Isaak didn't hate Hufflepuff, but it wasn't a house that he could see too many people being proud of. He was ambitious and being as good as possible was what drove him. He would become a great wizard and he would try to prove the stereotype of Slytherins turning out all bad completely wrong.

Isaak was about to speak up when the train came to a sudden halt and he almost fell out of his seat. Then the lights went out and the compartment was shrouded in darkness. Isaak was certain that this wasn't suppose to happen and he felt scared. He then heard screams coming from other parts of the train and this made him extra worried. What the bloody hell is going on?! he thought to himself almost frantically. Was the train now being attacked and then he remembered the break out in the news not too long ago. Could it be Death Eaters?

Isaak was about to take out his wand in preparation for an attack, but then there compartment slid open and a woman came in and cast a stun spell upon. Isaak was helpless as the woman grabbed Brynn to try and take her away. Isaak wanted to do something, but the effects of the spell wouldn't let him. Then he saw a flash of red light and headmistress McGonagal came into their compartment and lifted the spell. Isaak quickly got to his feet and was about to try and chase after the woman who had taken Brynn when the headmistress brought the girl back into the compartment before leaving again without a word. Isaak quickly moved over to her to check and make sure she was okay.

"Are you alright?! Those were Death Eaters! How the hell could have gotten on the train?!" he asked almost frantically. This whole incident had shaken him quite a bit and he wondered how parents and the ministry of magic would react to this.

Oh a b!tchfest for non-RP now? Oh I shouldn't have seen this, I got a NICE amount of rage to let out, but I'll start with the one that affects my job.

I am a server at a restaurant. And yes, before being written off for complaining about it or rolling your eyes, it is a hard job (not the hardest job, by any means, but it can be pretty horrible at times). I like the money I make while doing it, but what irritates me are the amount of people that will go into our restaurant or any restaurant and act like a jerk.

I could go on about non-tipping people as well, but that's always a constant with servers when they complain. If I did a good job, I expect to be tipped for my service. Giving me $1 doesn't help. I digress though, I could write paragraphs on that.

My biggest peeve while serving are those guests that come in knowing they will complain about something during their visit. They go in fully expecting to find one thing to complain about and get something for free. It happens often. The managers and other workers aren't stupid either, we know if you are trying to scam us for free food. We allow it because it costs us less to give you your meal for free than to do anything else. Afterwards we just go in the back and curse you out.

Obviously, something can go wrong with every visit. Something not cooked right, horrible service, something tastes bad, etc. I have no problem sending food back for you if you don't enjoy it and I will do my best to rectify the situation, but I will not start off by saying "Oh you didn't like your burger? Ok, it's on the house." No I will suggest having it recooked, or ordering a new one, or ordering something else first. I don't get why people get upset by that. I had a guest get angry at me because I didn't go get the manager for her after she said her burger was overcooked. The reason I didn't was because the managers are busy people taking care of other guests and I'd like to find a solution without their help right away. If need be, I will ask a manager, but it didn't need to happen. Needless to say, she got her way and got her whole meal taken care of and I didn't get tipped.

Also I don't enjoy anyone saying "I could get this cheaper at this place" or "This is too expensive, I could go to McDonalds for less." Ok, then go! See ya later! That's not a threat to me. I won't say "Oh no, please don't go! Here I'll take $20 off your bill. Will you stay now?" I will show you the door and so will my boss.

Lastly, when people tell me that they eat here all the time, go every week, always come on a certain day, etc. and tell me that it's always a bad experience for them, I have to ask why you keep coming? If you truly have had horrible experiences at this place you consistently come to, maybe it's not the restaurants fault? Or if it is, stop coming! This goes hand in hand with the free meal, because the only reason I can think of coming to a bad restaurant is to get free things when things go wrong (which they, apparently, always do).

*Deep Breath*

Ok, I'm done. Needed to vent in a place where I could remain relatively anonymous. Just those few things that bother me. I could go on, but I only have 150,000 characters.

I work at a grocery store and people are dicks there. It gets especially annoying when a customer accuses you of racism when they try to commit fraud or steal
I can't stand snob players. They make themselves look like assholes at some point or another and it completely ruins the rp. Also I hate it when players jump the gun and bitch out.
@Weird Tales - he should do books on tape for a living. His voice is perfect.

His videos make me so glad that I skipped collage. Collage is in an awful position right now
@Lord Wraith still here. Sorry I've been a little busy with job and holidays
