Nikki could see why Nic came here, there had to be a huge stash of weaponry, but she couldn't understand why he would risk going alone. There were probably two thousand men in the prison at the time of the infestation. She stayed close enough to Nic that none of the dead could get between them but gave him enough room so she didn't cut his head off. "Just what I wanted to hear."

She and Nic had been aquaintances before all of the shit hit the fan. So Nikki knew he was smart and a little crazy but sometimes he was just flat out nuts. Usually that was ok but times like this she worried about him having a god complex that might get him killed.

Nikki looks at him amazed. "Seriously? I can't believe you even said that to me." She says raising her sword to lop off another head.

Eve gave up and let him go ahead of her. She caught her breath and it was only a moment before the others had caught up. She could see the town and she could hear the hellhound. It sounded like it was already in town but maybe they could get into the building before it got to them. "Hurry!" Eve said worrying. She was glad of the magical boost she had gotten at the caves. She was afraid that she was going to need it soon.

"Tarquin? What are you up to?" Eve almost ran to catch up to him. "Why did you start running when I asked you that? What don't I know?" She hadn't told anyone about his secret but he was going to make people suspicious if he kept acting so odd.

Hi @BKburke I think @Marcus XVI is answering my post. What time zone are you in? Marcus XVI is in Europe and I am in the states, central time. it's about 1:30am here.
