A couple of years ago I had a problem like this where I over exerted my powers and I lost them for about a week. R&D said it can not be healed it has to run its course. After tons of testing they said it was a genetic defect that can't be corrected. In other words, I got it from my mother. She has one too, it causes her to lose parts of her memory. I have to deal with it. Right now I can't use my ice or teleportation powers. Are you sure you can keep me hidden? You won't let her or anyone find me? If Miles tells her where I am tell her we are having wild kinky sex and I am tied to the bed or something. I don't care what you tell her just don't tell her the truth."

Shiver stayed on one side of the bed. "I'll even leave you enough room so you wouldn't be lying....exactly." She grinned. "It will do wonders for your reputation." She chuckled and winced at the same time.

I did an rp like this not too long ago and the problem comes in when people up and quit and don't say anything. You end up with writers stranded. It's a good idea it just doesn't work out the way you want it too. I think I'll pass on this one.

"Hey Ro'kun...no I'm not okay. I need you to help me hide from Tia and if she shows up, my mother. This is why." She stood up and showed him her back which was nearly black with bruising. She looked like she might collapse at any moment. "Can you hide me? I'll tell you but I need you to keep it a secret."

Ro'kun's expression was one of shock. Shiver coughed and almost passed out. She walked out of the pool and wrapped a towel around her shoulders and let it drape down her back covering her injuries. She walked very slowly. "Can I stay in your room? She has access to mine and yours is across the floor from hers."
