Shiver heard Zoe been incredibly annoying. She herself was irritated to no end with the entire Enyo/baby/Loki mess. She felt betrayed and at that moment a little bit of her temper got away from her. She teleported to Zoe and said, "How many times have I told you not to do that?" Shiver was beyond angry and she was taking it out on the most annoying person she had met in a long time. She put her hand on Zoe and said. "Walk home then." Shiver then changed her mind feeling like she couldn't do anything right at all anymore."Zoe, just stop it...please...it makes me nuts, just stop." Shiver walked out the lounge door and flew up into the sky.

Shiver flew up to the arctic and built herself an ice castle so she could relax in peace and have no one bothering her. Now if she had only turned off her comlink then it would have been truly quiet. The more Shiver thought about everyone and everything had changed so much in so short a time that she just didn't want to feel anything anymore. What if she were as cold as her ice. She didn't even know if she could do that though if she did it meant her feelings for a certain few people would be less painful. She put her head back against the ice chair and fell into a light sleep.

Enyo darted in and grabbed her baby. "Shh mama is here." Enyo wrapped her suddenly talkative daughter in her arms and carried her into the hall. The baby babbled incessantly as Shiver was getting up off of the beam that she landed on. She looked at the baby. "She has some pretty strong powers for 18 months old. What the hell are you feeding her?"

Shiver looked at Omega and Loki. Loki laughed as he stared at Omega after he hit him. "I want my family back but it appears Enyo doesn't want me back. She wants that little Red man with the tail. I'll leave our daughter with you for now. I'll be checking in on her from time to time."With that Loki flew out the skylight above the hallway. Shiver put her hand on the sore part of her back and iced it up.

Enyo turned and saw Shiver and Omega both looking at her. Shiver started to walk away. She hit her comlink "Maintenance needed rm 23 bring drywall and beams. Enyo you can take another room til it's done or bunk with Ro'kun if he is still talking to you." Shiver felt like she had betrayed her because she had kept the baby a secret.

Shiver looked at Omega. "Thanks for the help Michael. Oh and you are welcome." She nodded up the hall as Sigma appeared. Shiver looked defeated. She walked down the hall to the kitchen and went through the tall cabinets and pulled out a large bottle of rum. Finding a tall glass and some soda she took them back to the lounge and crawled into a comfy position and watched the monster trucks on tv.

Nikki smiled. "Yes you will. Matt has not stopped talking about you since the first day you met. I knew he was going to propose a long time ago. As long as you love him he won't care about the past. He will care if someone from it is going to try and hurt you but there is no way that would change his feelings for you." Nikki laid her head on Kat's shoulder playfully. "Kat Hyatt" Nikki smiled. "I like it!" "I'll be at your beck and call to babysit and Jenna is around if I need backup and if I need a guy to be silly or make her laugh there is James and Darius and that new guy Chris is pretty ok too. It's not like anyone in this place wouldn't love to help with Grace. She will be fine."

Cambria was still asleep on her bed at the HQ. Omega must have forgotten that he was wearing a comlink because he shouted into it. "I'm still in the room across from yours so stop yelling!" She got up and opened the door.

She looked at him and she was trying not to tear up. "I'm gonna cry again, apparently the baby wants to see how much mommy can cry in 9 months. Are you here to beat me up verbally again? Let me know now so I can get Miles to deal with it because I'm tired of trying to get you to remember. Does that make you happy?" Cambria walked over to one of four boxes of tissues in the room and just kept wiping away tears. "I can't make it stop, I swear this baby is gonna have fins or something."

Shiver walked back upstairs and sighed heavily. Suddenly Enyo burst through the front door and Shiver stopped her. "Is he here?" "Huh? How could you do that to me?" "It wasn't me it's Loki he shifted to look like me. Where is the baby?" "Come on." Shiver ran with Enyo to the room. As soon as Enyo stepped into the room she was blasted backwards by Loki. He came out looking like himself. "Afternoon Love, Am I to assume that you still don't want to take me back?" Shiver ported behind him and went to grab the 18 month old baby. The baby's force fields went up and Shiver was blown through the wall. "Son of a bitch!" She said. "Omega? I need your help, come into the hallway." Enyo was back on her feet and pushing her way in to get her baby.

Nikki laughed and said, "That's my line!" She hugged her. "Let's go get some food. Matt had mentioned to me before we left this morning that you guys were going to have a ceremony of some sort in the next few days." She looked at Kat who was blushing. "Does that mean I get the little munchkin all to myself for a couple of days? I promise to resign myself to being Auntie Nin. I can take her to the gym and she can be my work out buddy. I'll teach her to dance." Nikki said playfully.

The cafeteria was not nearly as full as usual. Jenna had kept it an easy dinner tonight Hot dogs and chili. It was also a great lunch for the next day if they slept through til late morning, which Nikki was sure there would be many sleeping a lot the next couple of days.
