Jenna was serving breakfast and wondering what was going to happen when Kat got back. Nikki had said that she hated her dad but that Kat had never said why. All she knew was that if he asked about Grace she was Nikki and Vincent's baby. She had almost laughed at that. Jenna had grinned at James and said, "Seriously? She said that?" When he had replied she smiled and agreed to do it.

Jenna looked up as the line dwindled and she looked at Kat's dad from across the room and she could see the violence in him. She couldn't describe it exactly. Call it intuition. She didn't trust him.

Jon stood from the table of nights watchmen and made his way over to Jenna. "So, what have you made today Jen." he said before he noticed that she had a small grin on her face. "Okay, whats going on? I know that look." he said leaning over the counter.

Jenna smiled at him and pulled him close and kissed him and she pointed out Kat's dad. "His name is Malcolm and he is not trusted by anyone yet. He just puts out bad vibes. Kat and Matt get home today and Nikki has had Gracie. She has apparently told everyone that if he were to ask that Gracie is hers and Vincent's." Jenna almost laughed out loud. "Nikki and Vincent nearly killed each other last week. How did he suddenly become close enough to her that he is staying in her room to pull off this charade?"

Jon smiled at Jenna. "You know your real cute when you do that right?" he said as he put his arm around her. "Must be a real prick if Kat hates him. Kat likes everyone. So whats the game plan with this guy? are we gonna do something or are we just gonna stand aside and let things unfold?"

"I think we should just watch unless called in to help with something. I do agree with Nikki on this. She said Kat shuts down when it comes to her dad and that 'she hates him' is an understatement. I think it would have to be bad but Nikki doesn't know anything else about it. She is determined that him knowing about Grace has to be Kat's decision. Nikki is respecting Kat's decisions as a mother and I think that is wonderful even if it does pair her with oddball Vincent. James said Vincent was a hitman or something. It's hard to picture him and Nikki together."

Jenna looked at Jon and said "Aren't you glad our lives are so much less complicated?" She grinned at his chuckle and kissed him.

Shiver started to say that she had a boyfriend but stopped. Ro'kun had barely spoken to her since he found out about Enyo's little girl. She had a sneaky feeling that somehow he blamed her. The whole thing would have happened at some point in time regardless but it doesn't help people who are grieving to know that. @poohead189

"Donovan yes there are other girls here that are pretty too. My mother and I run this place and you have to listen or you go to jail...forever? Wow, what did you do? You know what I don't think I want to know. It says here your powers are shadows? Oh come on!" Shiver looked irritated. Light and shadow powers could be contained but they were harder to foresee than many other powers. She grabbed his comlink and room key and she put him in the furthest room down the hall. Shiver showed him how the coms worked and told him about the building and where things were.

Shiver looked at him after one of his comments. "If you touch me with any part of your body or your shadows I will freeze your penis and then shatter it!"

Eden turned the corner and said "Shiver, Omega got away from the guards and took off in one of the HQ cars." Shiver exhaled sharply. "Don't worry about it. The car has a tracker, they all do. We'll find him later if he doesn't come back on his own."
Eden looked at Donovan. "New recruit?" Shiver nodded. "Hello, I'm Eden." Eden offered her hand to shake to him.

"We have proof and he admitted it." Tears began flowing down Cammy's face and she shoved her hands into her hair and pulled them out so fast she blew up the coffee table. When she jumped from the explosion she blew up the entertainment center. Shiver teleported her outside and Cambria screamed and let her powers go and there were explosions all around them. After a few minutes she just sat down and cried. "I never got to make things right between us." Shiver held her while she did. "I know."

Shiver come bring me to Cam you need to make this run. Wicked said in her head. "Mom wants to come. Stay here she needs me to do something. I'll be right back." Shiver ported to Wicked and ported back to Cammy. She took the sheet from Wicked and looked at it. In Wicked's head she said Are you fucking kidding me? This guy is a degenerate! Her mother gave her a look and Shiver ported to Miles.

"Hey Miles." She handed him the sheet and said to Donovan "Don't even think of fucking with me or I'll turn your degenerate ass into a popsicle." She turned to Miles. "You need some new things in your apartment. I had to tell Cammy that Michael was killed. Wicked is with her now. Good luck."

"Let's go Shadow boy." Shiver teleported him to the HQ.
