Ari got out two coffee cups. "Yes we have running water and because it's a gas water heater it's hot water. There are towels in the closet in the bathroom upstairs. I've been using the master bath. We can cook too we just have to light the burners manually."

"Sure bring it in I'll show you what I grabbed today." She realized that she left her gun in the living room. She opened the cabinet and showed him all the canned foods and canned meats like vienna sausages, spam corned beef in a can and tuna and chicken. "I'm trying to keep going for more everyday. I figure who knows how long before we have to eat contaminated food and what that will do to us."

Matt looked at Kat and said "I'm working on it babe." He wanted to hug her but he didn't want to push yet so he took the toy from Grace and kissed it and gave it back to her. "Can you take care of it for me Gracie?" Matt looked quite dejected and walked outside and wondered if Nikki was going to be able to find them.

Nikki had run through the area up and down streets yelling for the kids and taking out anything that got in her way. She found a garden hose and got some water then took off towards the other side of town. "I should have put my running shoes on." She mumbled to herself.

Several hours later the sun was starting to get lower in the sky. She was heading back towards the school and she was finding more walker activity than should be there. Nikki dove right in and started taking heads.

"Erin? Haru? Are you in there?" She opened the door to find them both. Erin was hurt though. Nikki looked at them. "It's safe for you to come back to the school. Matt is going to have to set your arm and that is going to hurt but he is good ok. Come on. Let's get you home. Then I'll let your brother know."

When Nikki approached the school with the kids somebody yelled it over the walkie's and Matt smiled in relief. "Tell Matt Erin broke her arm. She'll be coming right to him." Nikki made sure the kids were taken into the school and she jumped into the monster and drove to where the twins had been. She went in and they weren't there. She figured they went looking for the kids. She fumbled for paper in the truck and found a marker in the glove box. She stuck the note on the door. FOUND KIDS-Safe. ~N~

if they take over other peoples homes doesn't that mean they are in one now? how is he going to find them? and why wouldn't they kill him?

Jenna got Alex the water and tossed in a couple of sandwiches. "We only have so many walkie's and they have been given out to specific positions throughout the school. Plus they would only work as long as you were close enough. Why in the world would you want to look for trouble like that? You can't take them on yourself so why would you go looking for them if they even exist? I can ask but right now Nikki is out searching for those kids. I don't know if anyone else is available."

"Looks like the only ones available right now are Chris and Roger.(NPC's) I don't think you should go out there. You need to heal first."

Matt looked at his wife. "I would hope that you wouldn't stay if I was hurting you and if I were to ever hurt Grace I would expect you to kill me. I would deserve it." He said "I apologized to Nikki yesterday and again today when she came back." He rubbed his bruising jawline showing her. "She gives back as bad as she can take it. She is responsible for my jaw." Matt got more serious for a moment.

"The kids, Erin and Haru. I guess they freaked out about having to leave the school and left in the dark and no one has found them yet. Nikki took off looking for them." He looked at Grace for a moment. "If something happens to them..." Matt's eyes took on a very pained look. "Nikki will never forgive me, I won't be able to forgive myself...and that would be if she didn't kill me outright."
