Ari smiled. "I would hope that the world could live in peace without turning us all into slaves. I would also like to get married and have kids. I want a big family like I had growing up. With a safe place to live with the basics. I don't need a ton of stuff I'd rather have the family." She said playing with his chest hair gently. "How many kids do you want?"

"Oh, and I was thinking. We are going to have to move south in a couple of months at the latest. I don't want to be up here with little to no electricity for the entire winter. The south will be hotter but we can go somewhere in the middle with little to no snow."

Ari responded to his kisses and wrapped her arms around him pulling him closer to her. "I will." She mumbled into his ear as their passions rose. Her hands were insistent and exploring. She pushed his hips off only long enough to remove her jeans. He took the opportunity to do the same thing. As soon as their skin touched it was like a fire that exploded into their veins. She reached behind her and undid her bra and took it and the tank top off in once move. Now completely naked to his eyes she watched him devour her visually and she did the same.

As she watched his body's response her excitement became more obvious and she pulled him down to her and kissed him. Their passions took over and quite some time later they were cuddled up under the covers talking quietly.

Nikki looked at Vincent and pulled him back out of the room and said "You won't come back because Matt got out of hand once in his entire life? That's not fair Vincent. You mean you've never lost it before? Believe me he is paying for it. He has been punched in the face by me and James and Kat has him in the dog house, he isn't even allowed to hold Gracie yet. Nikki put her arms around him and kissed him. "I want you to come back, for me. Please? Think about it. I can't leave here. This is our home."

Ari smiled. "King. Arabella Evangelina King. Go ahead and laugh, I know how bad it is." She felt bad for him about his parents and brother.

"Were you married or have any kids?" She saw the pain in his eyes. "Nevermind, you don't have to talk about it."

She pulled him down and hugged him tightly to her. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked." Ari apologized.

When he raised his head she reached up and kissed him on the lips. "I didn't mean to bring up such a painful memory."

She wondered but she wasn't going to ask him again. She couldn't help but notice that his body was mostly on top of hers. Softly she asked him "Malik? What if we only have a few days left til we are gone too?"

Nikki called Matt and told him about Erin and he said "No it's broken badly. Shit!" Jumping up straight away Matt came running into the cafeteria and went straight to Erin. He took one look at her and told Jenna. "I need cold cloths and where is Haru? He was supposed to be keeping an eye on her." Erin looked like she was about to pass out and as she started to Matt picked her up and ran her to the medical room off the main hallway. Jenna brought in ice packs and a bucket of ice. He rummaged through the meds and found some antibiotics. He injected her with a steroid to jump start the antibiotics. The girl was completely ignoring his instructions. Nikki knew this because she was there when he told Erin and made Haru promise to make sure she did. Nikki and Vincent had followed with Vincent carrying her.

Joseph wandered down the hall and when he passed by Nikki heard him make a remark about Erin not surviving and how it would be okay with him. Nikki turned around and kicked him in the face with her sprained ankle. "Ow ow ow ow!" Vincent was completely focused on Erin and Matt. He took her temperature and she was 103.5 and he laid her down on the padded table and started covering her in the ice packs. "We need to get her temperature down fast. Clara must have taken the cast off and the bone is out of place again." Matt moved it back and made sure the entire limb was getting enough blood flow and oxygen. He splinted it so it wouldn't move. "JAMES!" James poked his head in. "Go get Haru and bring him here please!" James nodded and disappeared.

"Matt? How bad is she?" Nikki asked not liking how worried Matt was. "It's not good Nik. She must not have been taking her meds. When I saw her she looked okay but that was yesterday. If this infection is too far gone in her blood or the bone we could lose her. She was supposed to be taking the meds three times a day." Matt ran his hands through his hair in irritation. Nikki looked at the girl and sighed. "Tape her to the bed if you have to. We can't let Clara kill her."

Nikki grabbed Vincent's hand in support. "Is there anything we can do to help?" "Pray and when Clara throws a fit help me keep her down so Erin can heal." Nikki nodded.

Ari blushed. "No I just want to be closer to the fire. You are more than welcome to come with me." She liked the feel of him against her. And he was warm. "A butcher? I would not have guessed that. Now the martial arts sounds about right." Ari hesitated on telling him her name. "My parents had a fondness for old names. My siblings were Anastasia, Adam, Alexander and I am Arabella. Don't laugh!" She grinned at the look on his face.

"So what about your family?" Ari turned and looked at him, sliding onto her back so she could see his face better. "Who did you lose?"

Ari smiled and scooted in with him and pulled the photo holder out of her pocket. "My parents died five years ago but there were four of us. Two boys and two girls. She beamed with pride and showed him pics of them all together and each individually. We were all so close in age that we were the closest of siblings. I was never alone, never. I was lucky...but I miss them so much." She caught herself before the tears could form. "I was a tattoo artist."
She pulled her sweater off over her head and it left her in her bra and a tank top that was pretty tight. She showed him the full sleeve on one arm and the 3/4 sleeve on the other. She pulled up the side of her tank and showed him where she had had her and her siblings names inked onto her. "I hope you like ink, otherwise you might think it's uncool. You would be surprised how many men think badly of a girl with tattoos even before meeting her."

"What did you do?" She got colder and cuddled up to him more. "Let's lay down so we can get closer to the fire." Ari suggested. She moved her pillow and dove onto it pulling the blanket with her, making him scramble not to be left without the covers. She chuckled at him.

ENYO

Enyo closed her eyes. She sped off to her room changed clothes and then took off. She ran top speed til she ran out of energy. She found herself a beach and sat down and just breathed in the sea air. "No wonder Shiver lived on the beach for six months. I don't ever want to leave here." She laid there on the sand for part of the night. She was almost straight with her recent past and she could even smile a little.

Ari headed towards the house next door. She had a good feeling that Malik was in trouble. Betting that he had gotten jumped she was trying to be cautious but quick. She peaked in the doorway and saw Malik and he was in big trouble. Ari raised her gun at the man whose back was to her. She shot him in the shoulder and when he fell sideways she moved closer and shot him in the face. She reached down and tore the bag off of Malik's head and helped him get to his feet. "Come on. Let's get back inside the house."

She got him into the house and locked the house down. She left him gasping for air on the living room floor. It would take a few minutes to get him breathing normally. During that time she went upstairs and pulled the shower curtain liner out of the main shower and sealed off the broken window. Then she blocked it with a large hutch that was in the room.

She had the medical stuff with her when she came back. "Are you alright?" She didn't know this man except for the last few hours but they had already become very dependent on each other. She reached over and wrapped her arms around him in relief. They had made it. They were both alive, so far.

She looked at him and the look in his eyes spoke to her. She blushed a little. "That broken window is going to get cold in here. We need to start a fire and I'll go get the blankets from upstairs. There is firewood in the garage."

A few minutes later they were sitting in front of the fire with their coats and blankets to help keep them warm.
