Enyo called her swords and they appeared out of thin air and she raced up the side of the building and decapitated the first attacker that was near enough to hit. She next took aim and blew a meta's brain matter apart in his helmet. He just fell to the ground. Enyo was on her game and she saw Wicked head upstairs and Kronus went towards the outside and brought visibility down and started to wield lightning at the attackers. Velocity joined her in the fight along the outside of the building. Wicked had an idea what they were after. She was hiding out in the simulation command room. Everything had been dismantled like she asked and she had all of the pertinent pieces.

Eden had looked him in the eyes and she believed him. She wrapped her arms around him and kissed him a deep and promising kiss. It was at this point that the alarms went off. "Let's go!"

When Donovan took her into the water and sat her down the relief was instantly visible. The heat relaxed the muscles. She was sitting next to him and she took his hand in hers. "Thank you. I was about to lay down on the ground and hope for death it hurt so bad. Ice brings down inflammation but it doesn't calm muscles. If you get injured I'm the one you want around." She rested her head on his shoulder. "Thank you for helping me tonight." He noticed her breathing went back to normal but now she was so tired from all of the shaking she was about to fall asleep in the hot tub.

Wicked entered the area with Kronus, both were in swimsuits. "Hello Donovan. What are you and Shiver up to tonight?"

Shiver smiled."Donovan is helping me. Mom you should ask him that thing."

Wicked looked at Donovan and asked him. "Would you like me to heal you? It would reverse all physical damage that has been done to you." She chuckled. "The last time I healed Shiver I even gave her virginity back to her." "Yeah thanks for that the rapist took it again." Shiver was being held up by Donovan and Kronus. She was almost asleep.

Just then a blast came down through the glass roof and into the pool. Shiver's ice dome was reflexive since the attack and they were not hit as the glass fell all around them.

"What the fuck?" Shiver grabbed Donovan's hand and punched through the dome and she flew him out to the hallway. Hitting the comlink she yelled "THE HQ IS UNDER ATTACK ALL RESPOND IMMEDIATELY!"

"No, I'm not Enyo." Eden couldn't believe she was doing. But she pulled away from him. "no matter how anyone feels don't compare yourself to her." Sounds pretty telling to me. "Goodnight Kyle." She turned and walked down the hill and started walking back to the HQ. She swallowed the pain in her heart and kept walking.

Shiver shook her head. "No, can you carry me the rest of the way?" Shiver was hurting from the muscle spasms the shaking was causing. She needed it to calm down asap or she wasn't going to be able to move at all. "Please. I really need to get into the hot water." She knew she was asking a lot of him but she couldn't move.

Eden had never been kissed like this before and she didn't want him to stop kissing her. She had seen the way he looked at Enyo though and she knew she couldn't compete with that. When he started kissing her again she felt like she was being pulled into a place where her body shivered with pleasure and her mind forgot everything except how her body felt. When the kiss ended she leaned against him to steady herself. "But what about Enyo?" She didn't bring her face to his, she couldn't let him see that it was going to hurt her.

Eden had gotten the impression that Kyle was about to kiss her and suddenly his mind went elsewhere. She could tell someone else was on his mind. When he finally focused on her again she said. "Kyle, I've enjoyed tonight so much. Thank you...but you are obviously thinking of someone else and I think I know who so we should just go back now." She had turned away from him because she didn't want him to see how hurt she was. She got up and brushed the grass off of her dress.
