Please don't write in the character tab. This is not the "Safe Haven" rp nor is it even the same group as there are only a few of us from that rp left.

Me too but damn those things were fast!
Piper Lance

Piper looked around with obvious curiosity. After Barkley went into the kitchen she walked into the parlor and looked at the divan and the chairs and books. Everything in there was antique and extremely old and looked delicate. Piper realized how she must look and she wanted to tidy up before meeting 'Miss Nora'. Piper located the bathroom and slipped inside and when she saw her reflection she was incredibly embarrassed.

"oh no" She pulled her brush out of her inside pocket and proceeded to wash her face and hands. Afterwards she pulled out her gloss and put a shine on her lips. She looked much more presentable now. Piper left the bathroom and went up to Grant who was looking at some of the book titles. "Well now that I know what you were looking at I can only wonder why you spoke with me to begin with."

When Grant turned to speak with her he would have seen a lovely young woman with beautiful hair and skin a slight shine on her lips and a radiant if not a little nervous smile. Nora happened to walk down the stairs at that some moment. Nora looked at Piper and her eyes betrayed nothing. Her smile was genuine but...."Mr. Holiday, I am glad to see that you returned safely. I am curious though as to why you brought a werewolf into my home." Piper's eyes went cold. "Don't get me wrong, I myself have nothing against the werewolves. Though they do tend to make some people... uncomfortable."

Piper realized she was asking a question not kicking her out. She addressed the woman who looked younger than she was but in reality she was probably several hundred years old. "I'm sorry to have surprised you like this and I hope it's not an inconvenience."

lol yeah I think World War Z would be more likely if it happened in real life. That is a scary ass zombie movie. If they could move that fast there would be no life after at all.
@alexfangtalon

Do it AFTER the bus.

Guys I love that you are trying to add and come up with stuff but please try to be realistic. If this were a real life thing there would be easily thousands of walkers running loose in a mall and any other large public area like a grocery store, an athletic stadium, a hospital. Only industrial buildings would be viable if they were at all because they would have shipping people and warehouse people. So once again they are full of walkers. The 'mob/family'idea is workable but the mall and Walmart just aren't. The only reason the prison idea was in the tv show is because they were all locked up. Think of someplace that is necessary, solid and fairly unpopulated.

I had already planned on asking you. :)

Piper looked a little uneasy but she decided that she really didn't have a choice and in the country gave her more options than in the city. "Let's just keep going. Overall the country is safer, less people." She said looking around uneasily as the mansion came into view. The sheer size of it came into focus and she stopped for a moment. "Wow, Somehow I don't think they will even notice that I am there if they choose to ignore me." She took in the size of the house, the stables and the garden. The garden was of course for her staff but it also allowed Nora to look like a normal person. Piper also saw a large tire swing that hung from the biggest tree she had ever seen.

Grant was waiting for her and she walked up to the house slowly and her expression would have made him smile. She took his hand in hers and hoped he was right. There would be a lot of places to hide in this house.

Barkley answered the door. "Ah, Mr. Holiday, good to see you have returned. Miss Nora was concerned for your safety. Please, do come in won't you." The older man asked kindly. "I'll let Miss Nora know that you have returned with a friend when she comes down. Please come in and make yourselves at home." Barkley disappeared into the back of the house.

Piper looked at the book and walked with him through the city and she got several looks about her lack of shoes. She stopped in the first store she ran across and bought shoes. "I can't believe it happens so often. I lose shoes all the time." She tucked his book in her jacket pocket and stopped for a moment. They were passing by a lumber yard on the way there. "This 'friend' how well do you know them? How long?" She was getting a sneaky feeling about this. "Are they going to be okay with you inviting me without asking them?" Piper was uneasy about this. She was not a very trusting soul.
