The Walking Dead-From the beginning -Closed

Nikki Hishamie

Nikki watched Kyle and his guys get out and one by one the walkers took the guys down. Nikki was about to give Gracie to Jon and go kick some zombie ass. When they got in the car again Nikki was curious about this girl and whether or not she would be trouble. Nikki was paying attention. Three guys had been lost while she was brought in. Nikki couldn't figure that out. Why was one more important than three? Her question then became why did Kyle suddenly care about this stranger more than three people who had been fighting by his side? She couldn't seem to get past this question.

When they went to the farm Nikki put Gracie on Jon's lap and pulled her sword and went outside. She looked around and she found a group of walkers on the other side of the house. She let out some of her fury and pain from the day and she took them out in a matter of a couple of minutes. She was too fast and accurate to worry about them hurting her. She knew she wasn't going to let them hurt her. She went into the house. She knew Kyle was in there so she called out, "Kyle I'm in here too."

Matthew Hyatt

Matt kissed his sleeping daughter's head and got out of the vehicle and pulled the crowbar out from under the seat and twirled it like a baton and headed for the barn. He opened the door and found it to be completely empty. He walked around it just to make sure and he saw the walkers in the field. Matt made a decision based on rage and he took off running just as Nikki stepped outside of the house. She saw that he was heading for a lot of walkers on his own and he was in a reckless state of mind. "Matt!" Nikki took off running and since she was further away she got there and he was already knee deep in walkers and she joined in and killed them as fast as she could. She needed to get him under some kind of control.

Matt looked up barely in time to see Nikki block his crowbar as it almost came down on her head. "Matt! Knock it off before I have to hurt you!"

Matt pulled the crowbar back and dropped it and dropped to his knees. Nikki finished off the last two that were still further out. When she came back to Matt he was staring at her but his eyes were dull and listless. Matt heard his voice but it didn't sound like his own voice. It sounded rough and scratchy, like someone else's voice. He couldn't seem to process anything and he was having trouble seeing anything but Kat's face just before she had turned. His memories played out and then they would end on her face as he put her down. "Nikki, I don't know how to do this."

Nikki looked at her brother and she hugged him. It was funny, they had always been so close that you would have thought they had a connection like twins do but she and Matt had been the best of friends growing up. Nikki knew him better than anyone. And right now he had her scared for his life. "We'll get through it together."

"Matt, let's go see if Gracie is awake yet. She will want her daddy." He heard Nikki say. Matt didn't know what to say so he let Nikki drag him back to the truck.

"If you are certain that it is no trouble Gun'tar. I would appreciate that greatly." She allowed him to pull the travois. She still carried her personal items and her weapons.

She also had been paying attention to the fighting going on and when she had seen the kissing mid battle she had blushed. She heard William say that Aelar's healing cost him his own life force. She needed to remember that and not allow him to use it unless absolutely necessary. She glanced over at James and his shoulder and neck appeared to be more relaxed and less painful now. She smiled. At least she felt like she might be useful on this trip. Elyra glanced at Jamie and smirked. Jamie was obviously more aggressive than Elyra and it kind of embarrassed Elyra that she was. Maybe one day she would find it in her to make herself known to the important people in her heart.

Violet sat down on the bench leaving a little space between them. "It's not even lunch yet and I'm already...worn out in some ways, I guess that would be a good way to put it. I've only gone to private girls' schools or had private tutors. But I always got along with boys better than most girls. I guess it made me feel very lonely at school. I think that's why I fought my mother so hard on coming here." Violet stared off into space a little bit and she looked back at Hachi. "I've been trying really hard today to make friends and it's just harder for me than most I guess.I guess you understand that don't you?" She blushed a little.

Violet looked down at his foot. "Can you tell if it's making a difference with your foot yet?"

Piper shook her head. "Not really, I know that Dracula's bloodline runs in my veins and because Nora is my maker and Rohar is my sire they are kind of my parents so to speak and I am tied to them. Nora can summon me and I would think that there is a way that Rohar has some way to contact me but to my knowledge he has never tried to."

"Wait...Dracula is not Nora's maker, he is her maker's maker so if he can summon her ....can he summon me?" Fear in Piper's eyes became very apparent. "Oh no, if he can make me do what he wants...oh my god!" Piper's heart raced so fast she was concerned. "Please Dantis, he could make me do things and hurt people."

Violet looked at Jasper and said, "I don't know. I'm okay hanging out here with Hachi if you want to go explore or something. If that is okay with Hachi." Violet blushed a little. She really wasn't used to talking to boys this much. She looked at Hachi and said, "And I thought I was quiet, why don't you talk to people? You don't appear to be scared of them so why not socialize a little."

Violet looked at the brothers and she thought that they both seemed nice but Jasper was probably a little too social for her. She liked to be more in the background most of the time. She had made so much effort to make friends today she felt like she was getting worn out trying. She never realized making friends could be so tiring and intimidating. Hachi seemed more her speed than Jasper so she opted to stay there and hang out with him.

As Elyra was pulling the travois Razer came over and asked her how she relieved James pain in his shoulder. She smiled at his astonishment. "It's been something that I've studied as a nurse. I just know how the muscular system works so I should be able to help any of you if something comes up." She smiled.

She looked at the group. A few of them had been paying attention to what she did and she could tell who noticed and who didn't. She looked back at James and smiled as she started moving forward with the travois again. She knew this trip could test her skills and she felt ready for the challenge.
