Elyra looked at Razer and saw Jamie trying to fix her hand. "Come speak to me while I help Jamie. She has hurt her hand." Elyra walked over to Jamie and said, "I saw you struggling with your hand. May I?"

She saw relief in Jamie's eyes and took that for a yes. Elyra pulled a small kit out of her pocket. It included something that looked like a pair of modern day tweezers and began to pick out the splinters carefully.

"Razer? I must admit to you that I don't know much about Kilgaren but I don't see you fully as an animal. Because you are much smarter than the average animal and walk upright it seems like an insult to mistake you for a pack animal. I hope I'm not hurting your feelings. I just don't see you that way."

After looking at Jamie's hand once more she put a cream on it and a bandage. "Jamie, please keep it dry and it should be fine." Elyra gave an irritated look at Shadow. Turning back to Razer she smiled. "Are we okay?"

Elyra looked at Razer and was shocked when he offered her a ride on his back as if he were a common animal. "What? Oh, oh! No, that's okay I couldn't do that but thank you for the offer. I'm fine walking." Elyra said with a smile.

She didn't know what to think. Technically Razer was an animal but still as he could walk talk and be humanish in every other way she didn't see him as an animal, exactly. She was having trouble with this. Was this even appropriate? What happened if he was more animal than human and took off with her on his back and chased some kind of antelope or something? She didn't want to seem ungrateful because she wasn't she just felt a little caught off guard on an issue that she knew next to nothing about.
