Alexey had finished his cup of fruit and thrown both the cup and his plate away, already. He had just taken the first bite of his apple, when he dug into his pocket to whip out his screaming phone. Goat screams always cracked him up, especially while at work. He flipped through to the latest text message, and smirked a bit. Clever come back, it was, while being straightforward enough.
We'll see then, now we won't? Anywho, want me to pick you up sometime? I don't have your address, though. Go somewhere nice, sounds good, yeah? In other words- a date, yes?
He absently compared her less formal textese with his more grammatically correct form, and shrugged. He knew it was unusual, but he took pride in learning the English language. It was even harder to learn than it was for him to learn all the different things for Russian.
