Well then, that sounds perfectly fine.
Just keep in mind that while the premise may indicate a "choose your own path" sort of story, I'm actually trying to aim for a setting where everyone ... Maybe not become best friends and blood-brothers/sisters, but at least tolerate and aid each other.
Of course, helping others so that they in return help you is a perfectly legit reason for sticking around. :P
It would. Although I'm not sure how much 'magic' you could learn from the MC that I have planned, but you could certrainly always try to learn about and study them to try and come up with some way of doing such a feat.

Though, what kind of Warlock-archetype were you going for? Something like the ones in World of Warcraft? The ones in D&D? Some other version?
Awwww, widdle kiddy, kiddy-cat~

That said, here are my personal thoughts on Lord Chompy Bits.

The character feels like a combination of Salem, Chuunitrixx and Light. In the story, the character Graft has gone throguh a lot of effort to create vermin/animal-like spy-drones for Salem, a telekinetic doll. Lord Chompy Bits, if accepted, would completely negate the need for this, as he could just use his cats to perform undercover surveillance without anybody noticing or paying attention to a stray cat here or there. It would also clash somewhat with the story, since nobody would have thought of this yet as the character did not exist when the need for 'spies' was broguht up.

In addition to Salem's spiy-drones, Chuunitrixx also has a network of mimic-spies who are doing similar things. With Lord Chompy Bits presence, we would have three different people who specialize in espionage and undercover intelligence gathering. If that's what you want though, then that's up to you of course.

Also, his use of illusions, mind-control and fear are very similar to the effects of Light's insanity aura, albeit maybe not exactly the same, the end result is close enough.

Moreoever, when I read through the sheet, I get the feeling that he has no "true body", but can swap freely between the various cats. This isn't really fitting with the setting, as NPCs has to have a specific body which the Player who created them worked on. Even Salem who can swap bodyparts and take on various shapes or bodies, still has a 'true form', but I get the feeling that Lord Chompy Bits isn't so much a specific character as he is a 'consciousness', which is a bit too intangible. Of course, I may be wrong and he does have an actual body, but I didn't get that feeling when reading the sheet.

Finally, his skils and equipment that allow him to turn his fangs and claws into Relic-class weaponry and use High-tier magic... That doesn't really seem to fit either, as he is below level 60... Due to how the roleplay is structured, the max tier of magic any of the NPCs can use is 6th tier, so I'm not certain if that is what you called 'high tier', or if you were implying that Lord CHompy Bits could use magic of an even higher tier then that - which would be impossible. In addtion, again, Relic-class weapons seem a bit too powerful for a character who is barely half-way to the level cap... But again, I don't know the actual parameters or "numbers" of what you categorize as Relic-weaponry, so I might just be making assumptions that are wrong.

OTHER THAN THAT THOUGH!

I like his fuzzy little face. I imagine him sounding like an old, classy dandy when he speaks and I think he would be a fun character to have around and roleplay with, much because of his cat-like nature and personality.

That's what I think of the widdle kiddy. ^^
Premise:

Our story begins witht he popular VMMORPG, Obubliette Online, released in 21XX. The game was a tremendous success, being one of the most immerssive and advanced games of its time, earning it critical acclaim and a massive player-base. Expandiung and growing, the successful game saw an impressive lifespawn of just over 14 years, before the decline in players eventually prompted the once-reigning-star of online games to prepare to shut down.

In those last minutes of the VRRMMO's time still online, a single player decided that just sitting around, waiting for the end to come, was a huge waste of time. They wanted to go out with a bang, not a whimper. As such, gathering all the possessions they had managed to acrue over their career in the game world, they set out on one fianl self-imposed quest: To challenge the greatest World Boss that Oubliette Online had to offer! To challenge the beast to a one-on-one battle, that once the server shut down, would lock their avatar and the great monster in an eternal, glorious battle forever!

Or... At least that was the plan...

As the timer for the server shutdown reached 0, the great boss unleashed its most powerful attack, and our brazen player took said blow face-first. And as the world of Obuliette Online came to an end, the combination of staying online, being hit by a powerful virtual attack that could wipe an entire party of players and some form of deus ex machina magic, our player was torn from both their physical body in the real world, and the world of the VRMMO... Launched through time, space and the very dimensional rift between realities, arriving in a new, unfamiliar world, stuck in the body of their avatar.

Alone, confused, hopelessly lost and clueless, our protagonist must now survive in a world without Health and Magic bars, without a HUD or hotbar to aim and use abilities with, in a world where drop-down menus and adjustable screens and options are no longer present.

And what implications and possible side-effects of this powerful new entity in this unknown world have? How will the people and the powerful beings, nations and perhaps even divine respond to this engima of a individual, who appeared out of nowhere and now roam the realms?

... And how will you, those who were sent to investigate the arrival of this fresh arrival deal with the strange ideas, cincepts, beliefs and interests of the stranger? Will you befriend them? Spy on them for your masters back home? Try to take advantage of their wealth and power and use them for your own gain? ... Only you can decide that...

Setting:

As the title and premise have said, this is an isekai rpleplay, based on a fictional VRMMORPG from the future and how the last active player of said game gets transported to a fantasy world which closely resembles and uses the same mechanics as the game. Things like classes, skills, spells and the like all exist in the new world, but without any of the quality of life or convenient mechanics of the game, meaning everything has to be done by hand - something our protagonist will have to get used to despite their overbearing power.

The tone of the RP is a mix between things and series like Overlord, Rising of the Sheild Hero, Death March, How not to summon a Demon Lord and other isekai based on game-mechanics and settings.

So, on to some general questions and answers.

Q: Who will we, the players, play?
Unlike many isekai, you guys will actually be playing the role of natives, rather than someone transported to the new world. You can be almost anything you want, an adventurer, traveller, wizard, merchant, heck you can be a lowly peon if you so want.

Q: But how can we be natives if the world is original and we have no background info on it?
Players are free to come up with their own locations, nations and other such things as they need. Make up countries, cultures, customs and so on and so forth, whatever you need to make your character work. All I ask is that you follow some few guidelines that'll be made clear in the actual OOC.

Q: What races can we play as?
Pretty much all standard fantasy-fair races are alright. Things like elves, dwarves, gnomes, halflings, lizardmen, humans and human sub-species like Aasimar and Tieflings, half-elves, you get it. Pretty much any race from D&D, Action RPGs or standard modern MMOs of today. The only races you can't play are things like extraplanar beings like angels, devils/demons, elementals or beings with no self-awareness or sentience like low-grade skeletons, zombides, vampire thralls or slimes and the like.

Q: Are there classes or jobs?
Yes! What would an MMO be without classes to pick from? But don't worry, almost every and any class yu can think of exists. From the standard D&D Classes, to things like prestige classes or heck, even custom-made-up classes. Just remember that if you want to make a fully custom class that isn't known to anyone else, you'll have to provide details about that job - an d it may get rejected if it doesn't fit.

Also keep in mind that there is no set "right" or "wrong" way to play a class. If we say that one player makes a Paladin and focuses more on healing, buffing and being a support spell-caster, while another player makes a Paladin who focuses on melee and holy smiting, they're both fine. They're just different kinds or variants of the same class. Your skills and spells will determine what role you play, not just your class. Speaking of...

Q: How will spells and skills work?
Making up skills and spells for every class on my own would be a huge nightmare, not to mention extremely tedious to read through for you guys. Therefore, we're going with the principle of you can do and use whatever you want, so far as it's fair and in-line with what your character is. When you guys get the CS Template to fill out, you'll see a section explaining this bit a tad better.

Q: If there are levels, what were the level caps in the game, and what level can we be?
The level cap of Oubliette Online was 120, you guys can start at, as a max, level 20.

Q: What? That's way low though!
Well, considering the average human peasant in this new world, who has no martial training or any proper education, is around level 1~3, you'd still be pretty darn strong. Of course, if you want to play a lowrer-level character, that's completely fine.

Q: Can we at least level up?
Yes. Yes you can. You can also acquire new equipment, skills, spells and stats... Well, stats are iffy, we'll talk about that later.

Q: How many characters can I have?
I'd honestly prefer everyone keep to just one character. But if you show that you're active and a fair and reasonable person, I could allow you to have an extra. Maybe. Possibly.

Q: How will the story progress?
The story is divided into arcs, or chapters. Each arc has an overhanging 'goal' that needs to be completed (or failed) in order for the next chapter to start.. In total counting the prologue and epilogue as their own arcs, the story has a total of six chapters currently.

Of course, if people want to do character-specific arcs based on their character, or just side-quests or intermissions, that's fine too. Just send me a PM and we'll work out the details on how to make it fit into the main plot.

Q: Is there a deadline for posting?
I would say that managing one post every seven days, once a week that is, should be doable by anyone who wants to join this story. Taking longer than that would really slow the pace down and mean that the roleplay would need to go on for years before being finished.

Thus, if you live an extremely busy life and have very little time to post, I'm sorry, but this isn't the roleplay for you.

Q: How many players do you want?
I'm looking to have a group of around 4-6 people, with myself included.

Q: If I become busy or need time work on RL, will I be kicked out if I miss the once-a-week post?
Not if you tell me about it in advance. I'm not some grumpy rule-stickler who doesn't understand that sometimes RL takes a huge dump on all of us. However, I do expect people to inform me if they need time off or won't be able to make it to posting the current round. I don't think that's too much to ask.

Q: Why don't you just check my status?
Because I have bad eyes and keep RPGuild zoomed in at almost max, and that point the little status-blurb doesn't show up, so unless I explicitly check your profile, I won't see your status.

And that's that, I feel. If you have any comments, suggestions or other thoughts, please feel free to post and ask. I'll respond to and try and work with anything you fine folks say.
Yeah, sweet and innocent. Sure... As sweet as cyanide and as innocent as telemarketing.

My post is parked in last, due to requiring everyone else to speak ahead of Chuunitrixx.

Is it going to be another "You all suck and can go be worthless somewhere else lols"-comment? If so, good thing Isolde's getting out of there early, else we'd have a proper showdown on our hands. xD
Awwww, Tabula so sweet and innocent. MUST PROTEK! ALWAYS PROTEK!
Oh joy, Ashara gets to go on a romp in the woods with the grumpy man who smells of goblin-sweat.... I'm sure the fox will be overjoyed at this "opportunity"... xD

And Rodias is so rude, not inviting Charme to the clubhouse meeting! :<
SABLE LORD IS BULLY!
The night went by without anything noreworthy happening, no burglars, no molesters, no drunks trying to get into the wrong room. When Druid Girl awoke, as the early sunlightt began to filter in through the window in her room, she found herself having nuzzled up against her roomie's modest chest. Likely happened while asleep, she quickly retreated her head and sat up, face slightly red before gently slapping her own cheeks a few times in order to wake up. Climbing over Steppe Archer, who was still in the bed, was bit cumbersome and awkward, and she nearly slipped at one point - but thankfully, the girl managed to escape onto the rather cold, rough wooden floor and could then make her way to the bundle of clean, folded clothes she had left out the day before.

Getting dressed, she looked over to the companion and spoke, gently but still not quiet or soft enough to be a whisper.

"Morning! Sleep well? When you've woken up and finished getting dressed, you can come join me downstairs for breakfast, alright? The Guild doesn't open for another hour or so I think, so there shouldn't be any rush." She said smiling, before leaving the room quietly.

Walking downstairs, the girl found that the dining area had almost no people in it at all. Not strange, given the early hour and the fact that most of the other patrons staying the night were likely sleeping off their hangovers from the previous night's drinking. Still, there were a pair of men sitting by a table of their own, speaking to one another in low, rumbling voices. She couldn't tell what they were saying, but it seemed they were too busy conversing to notice anything around them. Thinking very little of it, she proceeded to the bar counter and called for the owner.

After a minute, the gruff and grumpy man of the stoic nature appeared, still looking as chipper as usual! ... By which mean we mean not at all, he actually looked even more irate and bothered than yesterday. Perhaps he wasn't a morning-person? Regardless, Druid Girl either didn't care, or failed to notice it, smiling brightly at him as she began talking.

"I want some breakfast, please!"
"Ain't started makin' any yet."
"Wh-Whaaaaaaat? But... But it's morning!"
"Too early, ain't nobody eatin' at this hour. You'll hafta wait 'til later."
"Bu- But I'm heading off with my comrades to the Guild soon..." She pressed her index fingers togther, pouting, and looking at the sour man with puppy-dog eyes. The grouch sighed in response.
"Fine. I'll make some grain porridge. But ya ain't gettin' nothin' else, ya hear?"
"Yay, thanks!" The girl said, clapping her hands togther and unleashing a smile of sunshine.

The man just scoffed and went back behind the counter, into the backroom where - most likely - the kitchen was. Druid Girl sat herself down on a chair and waited patiently, looking around the rather empty establishment as she did so. Most likely, Big Red would want to just leave as soon as he showed up, and her archer-friend likely wanted to stop by the stables and check up on that horse she had mentioned. Perhaps they could pay the critter a visit before they visited the Guild? Though, the lizardman had said he'd want to hand in their scroll as soon as possible... Oh well, they had the whole day ahead of them, surely they could find time at some point.

A clatter and clamor from within the kitchen revealed that the old codger had begun work on his promised breakfast. Druid Girl sat, lightly swaying with her legs, since the stool was a bit too high for her feet to actually reach the floor unless she stretched. As she sat there, the young druid pondered just what kind of jobs would be available today.
New qusts have been listed in the first OOC post. I will write up an IC post either later today or tomorrow, this chronic headache I've had for the past three weeks coupled with the atmosphere at my work right now isn't exactly lending itself to great inspiration. ;<
The background char vampires will be more than happy to make up for the lack of gossip ongoing in most other departments. Unless explicitly stated otherwise they are constantly chattering with one another about everything and anything like a colony of bats living in an dilapidated rumor mill.
