As for off-site discord channels in my case. Even if there was one, I wouldn't be able to use it - due to real life limitations thanks to an eye sight-related handicap. Naturally, I don't expect everyone else to ignore or discard something useful just because I can't make use of it. But if an off-site channel for discussions is made sometime in the future, I would really like if whatever was discussed in it/them were also shared here on the site - either in the OOC or via PMs.

... I mean, if my character is one of the 8 who gets accepted, that is.

To answer the questions:

1. I will not be making any google docs for the rules and mechanics. However, that doesn't stop you from putting one together yourself by copying what's written and formatting it on your own. But as far as me going out of my way to make anything beyond the thread itself, no.

2. You will be provided with a character sheet template, complete with a guide and explantion on how to fill it out.

I did some thinking and pondering last night, and came to the conclusion that I wasn't really happy with Lunalaye. While I think she's cute and could be fun to play, I just felt like something else was needed. We've got people who use magic or illusions or debufferies already, and a almost all of the submissions so far are goody-goody worker bees who strive for the improvement, betterment and general sustainability of the dungeon.

... And we simply can't have that. Not everyone loves their work or their workplace, y'know?

So, I made this to spice up the character interactions a bit. Sadly, I haven't decided on which of the current pictures I'm looking at to use for her, but I'll update the sheet once I do.

Tessrha

Rarity ★★★ | Blood Ogre Berserker | Level 1

Appearance:

As far as the average ogre is concerned, Tessrha's a bit of a runt, standing at a meagre 180 cm (5'11") small tall. This is without taking her horns into account, mind you. As with all other members of her species, when she gets excited, agitated or enraged, her eyes will start to glow, which can be pretty intimidating.

Personality:

Fairly standard for a member of the gore and oni species, Tessrha's loud, free-spirited and rough around the edges. She's got a short temper, a foul mouth, likes to resolve things with force or violence, has a penchant for threats and would rather party, feast and/or fight instead ofdoing any actual work. As a chaotic being who enjoys and practices a strong code of individualism, Tesshra absolutely hates things like bureaucroacy, effectivization, uniform behavior, strict rules or any and every other form of restraint or restrictions. She's a disorganized mess whof requently misplace (read: loses) her own, and others' "borrowed", things. She's also quite lazy, not wanting to do anything that's tiresome or a bother... Which most everything that she doesn't enjoy doing. She'll complain and moan having to do any task that isn't "fun".

Tessrha loves food and boooze, and can often be persuaded with them. But beware, as she's got a bit of a bully's mindset, and will pluck food right outta your hands when passing by, if she thinks she'd wanna try whatever you're having. After all, "WHat's yours is mine and what's mine is mine", as they (read: she) say. While most things that don't invovle eating, boozing or fighting aren't fun for the Blood Ogre, she does have a few other interests, such as blacksmithing and maintaining tools and armor. After all, you can't beat the snot outta someone with broken gear, and it's just not as satisfying to chop someone's head off with a dull blade. Unfortunately, again, as being of chaos and freedom, she can spend an obscene amount of time working on a single piece or item... And then, due to her aforementioned disorganization, end up losing it somewhere random... So, you know, be careful when asking her to fix up your shield or sharpen your blade...

Shameless, crass, vulgar, loud, rowdy, messy, gluttonous, slothful and violent, Tessrha's a shnining pinnacle of ogrehood. But while the she-ogre may come off as a drunken muscle-head with a short fuse and party girl-attitude, the blood ogress cna - on rare occasion - show a hint of some kind of cunning or insightful observation... Though, that could just be the booze talking.

Abilities:

• OGRE SMASH: She be ogre. SHe be stronk. Pick up smol fry and toss across room into wall. Rip tree outta ground and use as club. Wrestle dragon for stealing grill-meats. The usual.
• Ogre Flame A kind of spirit or mystic art, slightly different from conventional magic. Tessrha, and many of her brood, can conjure forth fire and flames, which can be used for things like launching a fireball, wreathing their weapon (or themselves) in searing flames or... In Tessrha's case, using to light a campfire on the floor in her room so she doesn't have to go all the way to the cafeteria to cook food. And, y'know, it helps when running a forge too. Could probably be used for emergency lighting too. It's handy!
• Berserker Blood: Unlike regular ogres, Blood Ogres are quite possibly worse. Whenever you hit them, fling spells at them, cause status effecct to them or scathe them with a stinting verbal jab, they get mad. And when they get mad enough, they enter into their 'Berserk' state, where they basically go full Hulk-mode and start smashing, crashing and tearing things - and others - up in a frenzy, ignoring petty trivialities like being hurt or losing a limb or bloodloss... The aftermath once they've calmed back down is never fun though. Ouch.
• I'll Use This!: Not picky about what tool of destruction she uses, Tessrha can wield almost any (melee) weapon with surprising competency. ALthough she prefers large and heavy weapons, she can just as well wield a simple wooden club, as she could wield an oversize double-edged battle axe. Natural martial prowess at it's finest!
• Poison Resistance: As a membber of a species which imbibes a frankly heroic amount of alcoholic spirits, and who has blood that can litteraly start boiling, Tesshra's highly resistant to most Umundane) poisons. Her tolerance for booze is unreal as well, and she could quite possibly drink a dwarf under the table.
• Cold Weakness: Blood ogres are weak to magic cold and ice effects. Note, this only applies to magic effects - they're perfectly fine in natural cold and sub-arctic/arctic enviroments.
• Fearless Thoughtlessness: You no scare ogre, ogre scare you. Well, it's not impossible, but it's really, really, really, really difficult to scare, intimidate or coerce Tessrha. This goes for spells or abilities that induce those kinds of effects as well.
• Forgemaster: Tessrha's a skilled blacksmith, able to craft weapons, armor and tools, as well as perform repairs or maintenance on any such items. Of course, she needs the actual materials and resources, as wlel as time, to do any of these things. This includes having an actual forge and smithy to work in as well, duh.

Notes:

• Rarity Ranks: Blood Ogre > Blood Ogre Savage > Blood Ogre Berserker > Blood Ogre Chief > Blood Ogre Lord
• She's a big eater, but not a particularly picky eater.
• She guzzles down booze like others might drink water. In fact, has anyone actually ever seen her drink plain water...?
• She's blunt and coarse, so she doesn't beat around the bush or play silly games. If she likes you, she'll tell you. And if she don't like you, you'll be made aware of it quite fast.

Lunalaye

Rarity ★★ | Aberrant Barghest | Level 1

Appearance:

She stands at a diminutive 150 cm (just under 4'11") tall, in her humanoid form. Her voice is clear and sweet, but a bit on the loud side, witha youthful ring to it. When happy, her ears twitch and her tail wags, when upset or sad, her ears and tail droop.

Personality:

Lunalaye is a self-serving individual who prioritizes her own wants, needs, comfort and well-being. Although she likes to try and portray herself, and come of as, a cunning, confident and competent being, the truth is... She's a bit of an idiot and a simpleton. Easily swayed by praise or others self-depricating themselves, she let's compliments go to her head. The barghest is also prideful, and gets (childishly) upset when criticized or called out on her folly. In that regard, she's also petty, holds grudges and the kind of jerk who'll only lift a finger - if you've upset her before - after you crawl, scrape and beg on your hands and knees to her.

A big lover of eating, Lunalaye is also easily bribed, convinced or subdued with food and drink. She gets easily attached to those who earn her favor, while being very blunt and obvious towards those she actively dislikes. The little barghest has good natural instincts, and can be quite cunning and clever at times - but being cunning and clever doesn't amount to to much if you don't have foresight or can properly capitalize on those strengths. Additionally, loud sounds or strong scents freak her out, and she can become very fidgety or outright spazzy when exposed to such experiences.

Trying to stand above others as "top dog", she wishes to be looked upon with admiration and fear, as well as be relied upon by her "pack". She loves collecting treasures and trinkets... Only to curse them, for her own childish amusement - and will hoard them greedily if given the chance. She seems to subscribe to the concept of treating symptons and the immediate issue, rather than looking for a long-time or permanent solution. Trying to put on airs, she can attempt to speak grandiosely and strike fancy, confident poses... Only to have her logic poked full of holes in and her face turn into a blank, confounded derpy mess when her brain can no longer keep up. While she tries to be a beacon of power, she's also - at heart - a coward, and will run yipe! yipe! yipe!-ing from a fight or situation that either freaks her out or proves too difficult for her to handle. Without any shame. What? Self-preservation is natural!

Abilities:

• Blindsight & Darkvision: As a member of the Barghest-species, Lunalaye has both the innate capability of darkvision and blindsight. Hence her oddly shaped and colored pupils.
• Shapechange: Lunalaye can swap between her canine, wolf-like form and her more humanoid appearance. The transformation takes only a few seconds to complete. Notably, she gets physically stronger and faster in her beast-form, but loses the ability to use any of her magic or spell-like powers.
• Charm Animal/Monster/Person: An ability that allows Lunalaye to Charm another being and sway them to her side, for a limited amount of time. This does not work on the undead, plant-life or constructs. If the charmed target is attacked or injured, the effect is also immediately broken.
• Invisibility Sphere: Lunalaye has the ability to cast an area of effect invisibility spell on herself and any allied beings nearby. This renders them completely undetctable by mundane sight, until the effect is broken or cancelled. Attacking or performing anything more complicated than opening a door will end the spell.
• Low-brand Telepathy: As a barghest, Lunalaye has the ability to communicate wordlessly by speaking directing into someone or something's mind. This is very handy when you don't want others to hear what you're saying, or when communicating in silence is advantageous. The caviat is, she can only communicate with someone she herself can actually, physically see. Even knowing that a friend is behind a wall or in another room doesn't let her speak to them - she has to have actual, current visual confirmation of her target. She can also only talk to one person/being at a time using this power.
• Curses: She's very adept at Curses and Curse-based magic. Using this to debilitate foes makes it easier for Lunalaye to then deal with them, or have others deal with them on her behalf. This can be largely anything from robbing an opponent of their sight or hearing, to making them suffer painful jolts or stings through their body. It can also be more mundane things, like weakning their physical strength or dexterity.
• Holy Weakness: As a type of Fiend, Lunalaye is really, really, really not a fan of anything Holy or Sacred. Holy Water, Purification Magic, Sanctified Weapons. These all scare her, and rightfully so, because they also hurt her like an oncoming freight-train.
• Sensitive Senses: As a beast-like creature, Lunalaye has a superior sense smell, taste, hearing and sight to that of the common human! ... Which also comes at the price of her being more sensitive to things that stimulate those senses. Strong scents, loud or high-pitched noises, sudden bright flashes... These are all real headaches to her and can make the barghest flip her wig and spaz out in panic, confusion or agitation. It does hlep when hunting prey though, so it's not all bad! ... Maybe...

Notes:

When given food, she becomes very passive and amiable. When she sees someone she doesn't like, she'll growl (cutely) at them. When she sees someone she likes, her tail with start wagging involuntairily. She's got a lot of energy and has a great deal of stamina. Extremely sensitive about her height and weight.
