The Penin nodded, though slightly less sure of the duo since the outburst, he was far too fatigued to give it the thought he ought to. He stayed where he was, making few notable movements whil he sized it all up. "I assure you I do," he added to his nod several moments before. His eyes shifted to the guards, "...I understand your reactions, but we really wish for no further trouble. I will see to it that we stay in a nearby Inn. The Drunken Dove, perhaps," he suggested with a weak smile, made so by the tired look in the Penin's eyes. "Yes I think that ought to work. They will be accessible for any questions you might need to ask, and I will be nearby as well." He looked to the leader of the small company of men and women, "How does that sound?" He had little else to say, after all, he'd rather this just be over sooner than later. The quicker he could drop these two off at the inn, the more swiftly he could drop into his own bed. At least he had already retrieved his keys and notified Soojerna. He had no wish for further errands. His eyes cast down at the now unconscious stranger. He wondered what had caused that outburst, he would have to ask later.

Hopefully he would remember.
Accepted on my end.
I feel as if Bal'Tazor and the Flesh That Hates would be good friends.

Let's say that Dahlia and her Iron Brigade are roughly six miles south of the northernmost Town/Small City on the map. I assume you're just curious.

Speaking of curiosity, are @Cale Tucker, @The 42nd Gecko, or @yoshua171 still around? I'd assume not, since they haven't even been online in some days, which is quite disappointing.

*Is still quite present* I'll hopefully have time to begin here soon enough. Just been working on the RPs I GM and working out my RL situation. I still have this RP in my subscriptions and I look at it here and there.
We're looking for more people always, so feel free to do so :)

The Flame

"I am the Flame; I burn with title, but no name."

The beast rushed, but he was familiar with this tactic now, and made no movements, continuing to tread onward. The creature then appeared before him and he rolled forwards instinctively, and as he came up the Flame flared to life--finally awakened from its smoldering slumber. His skin seemed to crack as red, orange, and ashen lines of essence spread in a single flash over the entirety of his body, glowing even from beneath his garments. His eyes, once amber, now burned as if they were flames, and his body now lit their surroundings with a fierce, almost animate unnatural, light. He reached up, grasping both tendrils and immediately flames spread over the length of both, burning them to ash, but not effecting the rest of the demon's body. If the creature struck at him, the attack would hit, sending the human flying through the air where he'd slam against a stone wall. If the strike was from a tendril once more, he would react accordingly.

The Kindling Flame

"I am the Flame; I burn with title, but no name."

He turned, his eyes grazing over the earthen body as the Flame ran through it, piercing it to its core, the light of its flickering power just beginning to shine, before the body turned fully to ash and fell away to the whims of the wind. Plants rustled and for a long moment, the man simply gazed at the scene. The floor damaged, the place still teeming, yet feeling bereft of, life in its true form--in its natural state. He felt the Flame's insistence on growing, but while he could not control it, he could walk away. He still had his will about him, and so he turned, before the voice rung out, and began to walk deeper into the ruins. As he heard the voice, echoing through the halls, as he was already further away, he did not so much as turn.

There was no point in going back, there never had been. He had to cross through this place eventually, it was part of his purpose, part of his search. If the creature attacked him again however, he would meet a very different beast, for the longer the Flame was kindled, the stronger it became. The more its tinder burned, the greater the size of the Flame.

"I am the Flame; I burn with title, but no name."
