I did the transfer from 3.59 minutes to a mile. So yeah.
Which version of VTM are you basing the character on?

I am assuming a later ed. So I would say you probably can lift/ press 2,500 lbs. Can run a 3.59 minute mile.

So about 80 meters in 10 seconds in terms of speed. This is going to be...interesting. Also, when he turns into bat form, is he larger than normal, or is he a normal sized bat?

Told you so, @Descartes. I called it. My hunches are rarely wrong.

With that being said, stop being a bunch of pansies. If you're just going to complain about his character, then I'm looking forward to whooping all your sissy butts.

Bunch of insecure bullies. Bite me.

Psh.

Hey @Descartes how strong and fast is your character? Durability is human, orrr?
Well this has inspired me to figure out what, given his strength, Raelis could feasibly cut through. So there's that.

Sorry that you're frustrated @Skallagrim.
I don't know, honestly. Raelis has enough strength to lift something that's 2,475 pounds. He can put that amount of strength into his slashes or stabs or punches. That plus his sword being unbreakable and it being able to reach a max of 1000 degrees Fahrenheit.

I'm not a math wiz, so I don't know what he could cut through, but I imagine it's a pretty strong material.
I can settle easily, I can make Vordy the winner since everyone is bitching about his character which is beatable by everyone here even In. End of story. Now either fight or withdraw, I don't care anymore.

Fun fact, I didn't complain, I said the fight would be pointless given the data he gave. I didn't say that the rebalanced form would be unreasonable.

Well, i did say i had no qualms about forfeiting and finding myself another fight.

Ijok has his weaknesses, but indeed, they were made with more powerful characters in mind. For example, the substance his body is made of can only exists within a 4 meter radius of him, disintegrating as soon as it leaves this area. I intended this to be exploitable by means of explosions, high-energy impacts or simply lobbing off a limb and then sending Ijok flying before he can pick it up and re-attach it (he cannot actually regenerate mass in combat, mind you, only reclaim parts of his body). But all three of those, while they can indeed quickly weaken him, making the task of striking his core easier, are somewhat out of reach as option for most current participants, unless i make Ijok's durability piss poor, in which case he won't have any effective offense, ironically.

So here's my question. How much would you scale this character's durability, speed, and strength down?

If this is the case and Raelis discovers this weakness, then he becomes able to beat him and the fight becomes much more fair.
Hmmm. Well, Raelis, who is his opponent can generate essentially any amount of heat. However, his body can only stand up to 100 degrees. His armor protects him from much of his heat's damaging effects so he can have the heat around him reach up to around 150-200 degrees Fahrenheit before his armor reaches its limit and starts to heat very quickly.

His sword is totally immune to heat in that it will never melt and can thus reach incredible temperatures. However, after reaching 200 degrees the core of the blade starts transmitting energy to the handle, which will then start heating up and thus heat up his gauntlets. Notably his gauntlets can handle up to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit so his blade can get pretty damn hot before he has to worry.

So yeah...if I can't damage you via normal means AND I can't damage you with heat then the battle would be pretty much pointless. The only way I'd win would be by somehow restraining your character, which doesn't sound likely even with raelis being able to lift/move/throw almost 2,500 lbs (6 times his own weight with armor on) and move at 200 mph in flight or 761 mph (speed of sound) if he dives.

So the most powerful thing Raelis could probably do would be the following.

Go into the air, use Maelstrom to whip up a vortex of wind. Have already heated his blade up to 1000 degrees (F) and then mimic that heat in the vortex, then dive bomb down at his opponent and use that as an attack.
Ah, mmnk coolio. Smart choice then ^_^
Hey Skallagrim, did you mean to post the battleground bit in the OOC of the thread? Merely asking out of curiosity.
