Eh. I trust the GMs enough to not take the first impression of a single RPer as their final say on whether to expel someone. Say what you will about my decisions, but honestly if one is a troll, their response to being called a troll is typically very indicative as to whether or not they ought to be taken seriously. I never said it in a confrontational manner, nor did I particularly mean it as an insult. I simply called it as it seemed to me at the time.

Anything else is the perception of the reader and while I'll take responsibility for allowing people to decide the what the tone of my words may have been, I do not take responsibility for the conclusions they may or may not have come to as a result.

By the way, since you responded intelligently and calmly to being called a troll, rather than rage out of control, you're probably not one. I tip my hat to you.

More often than not a troll is confrontational and seeks attention, typically insulting others to gain more of it, even if it gets them in trouble repeatedly. It is better to call someone a troll early, and be wrong, than not do so and be right only for them to later explode on someone and cause a huge problem in the group dynamic.

Regardless, I'll drop it as we've been told not to argue :)

I wish you no ill will and should you be accepted/stay I look forwards to interactions between our characters, though mine is yet to be finished--man is it giving me a lot of trouble--though I hope to remedy that within the next few days or so. Anywho, I'm rambling, back to what I was doing.

Personality: Kōunora is a compassionate woman with an effortless elegance to her actions and an air of wisdom. Caring deeply for those taken under her wing, the women protects them just as fiercely as she teaches and cultivates them. She cares little of the opinions of others, thus revealing her own assurance of self. “You really shouldn't have struck one of mine,” she said, voice filled with assurance, her body language tense. While her blade may have not been drawn, the look in her eyes, and the pulsating aura that surrounded her was threat enough to more than compensate. On the ground behind where she stood lay the motionless form of a seated officer, one of hers. Her hand moved to her blade as the arrancar smiled in response to her anger.

The being closed the distance, meaning to strike her, but too late he noticed her other hand grasping a cube of white reishi. “Chōten seigen,” said the captain as her palm opened upwards, releasing the cube into the air before her, where it unfolded, thus revealing a smaller black sphere. Immediately upon its unveiling, the sphere shot outwards expanding around her. The arrancar retreated, but not before it touched him. As his sonido ended he found ribbons of black reiryoku where his finger and toe had touched the sphere.

He looked up, but found the orb of energy impenetrable to his senses. It only last a moment, suddenly cracking and then shattering to reveal Kōunora's glittering form, the air about her shimmering with silver light, a light which seemed to refract off of thin air. Her blade was drawn at her right side and it shone with a subtle gold, as if a muted light had been trapped within it.

Eyes locked with his, Kōunora pushed forwards into a shunpo and at the same moment two tiny shockwaves blossomed from beneath her feet. In that instant she vanished, reappearing two feet from the arrancar who, in response, stabbed his blade at her torso. She spun to the right, dancing around his strike, blade reversing grip, before it plunged at an angle, behind her back, and into the hollow's side.

Immediately the arrancar howled in agony before he was sent flying as a powerful wave of kinetic energy washed over him, sending him into the wall of a building, which formed a crater as a result.

He had no time to recover as he saw her lightly jab her blade into the air five times, tiny blades of silver light pinning him to the wall as she did so. Her red eyes gleaming, the captain crossed the distance in an instant, placing the tip of her blade before the throat of the arrancar as she did so. “Have you any last words, hollow?”

“I hope my fello--...” he began, before the blade sliding slowly into his neck interrupted his words. In moments he was unable to breath, and after long minutes of gagging on his own blood, his convulsions ceased and the light left his eyes. There was no empathy or remorse in the actions, not a single shred of a compassion in her fierce crimson eyes.

Pulling her blade from the hollow's corpse as it began to dissolve, the captain watched the process till the last shred of reishi dispersed into the air, and only after did she flick the blood from her glowing blade and sheath it.

An Ideal World - Bleach

Just fyi everyone while I didn't have work on Thursday, I had work on Wednesday, Yesterday, and I also have work today and tomorrow hence my general lack of response. I was initially a bit disenchanted with making something since there are two Bleach RPs that have popped up in the last few days, but I think I'm going to try my hand anyways as if one doesn't try, they'll never know if they can succeed.

So yeah, I'll be taking in mind the responses from both threads that I posted (this one and one in Advanced) and I'll probably make the thread "high Casual," in the interest of both my own preferences (advanced) and as a good middle ground for both groups ^_^

As I get time and am hit with inspiration or just good ideas for plot and whatnot, I will begin constructing the OOC for us all. I will also probably throw up one more interest check (both in Casual and Advanced, though they will be identical) so that anyone who was driven away due to there being no plot or the like may have a second chance to reevaluate this little project of ours :)

@yoshua171 Funny you should mention that, but I actually do it very differently than other typer of characters ^^. With Bleach characters I tend to start with their Zanpakuto-spirit: it's personality, the inner world, then the abilities of the Shikai (and possibly the Bankai). When I have established these I create the character around these "themes" or "ideas". I think the reason for why I do it this way is because I see the spirit as the essence of a Shinigami and the seed for how the Shinigami acts and develops.
An example could be one of my pre-existing characters whose manipulative and teasing persona came from her Zanpakuto's trickster-like personality and illusion based abilities.

Not sure this is the best way, but I have just always done it like this for some reason or another...

So I'm not the only one who uses core themes for my Bleach characters, weee haha. I'm similar, but I start with core ideas, expand from there and decide on "Shinigami(history/personality)," or "Zanpakuto(Abilities and whatnot)," and go from there.

The character I'm working on now, and the one I made previously, I've actually used Tarot cards (because I have a deck so why not) to tell me what sort of background/person the character is. The last one I did it for, Hiakarui, I drew "The Moon," and "The Sun," and it ended up really interesting. He has a calm/serene and solemn personality on the surface, but is fiery, passionate, and enthusiastic at his core. He has a conflict with this internal part of him because fire can also burn and be very offputting for some people and he rather be accepted/be caring and compassionate for others.

His zanpakuto ended up being really multifaceted. I related it to some symbolism for the Sun and Moon and then an Eclipse where the two meet. I even had him unable to master his Bankai since he hasn't accepted all of himself and thus cannot accept or conquer his sword spirit entirely.

My current character seems to be very related to the idea of "transition."
