1. I'm in school to become a physical therapist assistant! (Did it!)

2. I will quit any roleplay that has been inactive IC for one month for any reason. I've been in too many Schrodinger's RP's and I'm not doing that anymore.

Vareena Town --> Vareena Pokemon Center

@Typical @Heckno12 @OtomostheCrazy @fer1323 @LuckyBlackCat

"What abooout Ash?" Ty blurted. Ty had spent the majority of his hike through the forest alternating between focused, silent brainstorming and throwing out Litleo nickname possibilities - whether his companions appreciated and provided their own feedback or not.

"Hmmm... now that I say it out loud, it sounds kinda cliché, for whatever reason. Maybe I should wait to find out if it's a boy or girl."

A bold, majestic male Pyroar? Or a sleek, elegant female Pyroar? Both sounded LIT. Ty couldn't decide which one to hope for!

The Pokemon Center was so close to the forest edge (it seemed the town had planned well for battered trainers exiting the dense woods), Ty didn't have time to brainstorm any more nicknames before the trainers reached the place of healing.

"I should just be here for a few minutes," Ty explained. "You can wait with me if you want. If you're in a hurry, at least let me know where you're going."

With that, the leather-clad trainer gave two of his four pokeballs to the lady at the front desk.
Aaranya Singh

Danielle had... wanted to help?

"How could you help?" Aaranya responded. "I was going..."

The woman had to take a centering breath before continuing.

"I was going to die. There's no way to help with that."

There was a long pause. Her feelings about Danielle's confessions were coffee. A sprinkle of longing sugar stirred in a bitter cup, enough to just taste the sweet before it dissolved into darkness.

Aaranya didn't like coffee. A plain glass of water would be a nice change of pace.

"I guess I'm alive now, though," Aaranya slowly continued. "Maybe you can help figure out what to do next. If there is a next."

"Tea will be ready in a couple minutes," Kabir declared as he walked back into the main room. He gently handed Aaranya a bowl of oatmeal with blackberries and cream. The woman immediately started gobbling down the meal. The oatmeal felt a little less warm than expected... it seemed Kabir had prepared for the possibility of Aaranya cramming it in with reckless abandon.

"Ah... hello, there," Eric addressed the twin Grimer. He tried his best to keep up a courteous attitude toward the stinking Pokemon. It seemed one of them immediately glomped onto his shoe for some reason. Maybe because it was dirty? The soles of shoes were probably coated with the kind of mess Grimer would like to eat.

"Hmm..." Eric uttered as he considered Faye's options for a minute. It would be nice to use a Pokemon to quickly fix his problem and go back to his life as planned. On the other hand, if he stayed and recovered at the ranch for a bit, he could get a better idea of what this place was like and spend some time organizing his thoughts from earlier. Also, if those wild Pokemon moved in the next couple hours, Eric could go back the way he came.

"I wish not to bother your Pokemon for a problem of my own doing," Eric concluded. "If it's alright, could you lead me somewhere a little nicer than the open field to rest? I can find a way to repay you later." The reporter attempted to stand up but struggled to find a foot placement that would not accidentally squish the prankster Grimer.
At some point, humans would've had to go from "obviously dominant sapient species" to "most people think poorly of them." How did this drastic change happen? Was there a war, more of a cold war propaganda against humans, erasure of human history? And are these things we should know or be left unknown?
@LostButterfly92 Either tab is okay. It's just hard to find right in the middle of a lengthy lore post. The very top of OOC or Characters would be good.

Aaranya continued to gaze downward, but she could feel Danielle looking at her. After a minute, the former Sacrifice looked around for something. Aaranya stretched her arm and craned her neck in an awkward position in order to just barely reach a tissue from the end table without needing to actually move from her small claimed corner of the vast world. The woman cleaned up her eyes, blew her nose, and took a deep breath.

"I don't know what you're expecting," Aaranya mumbled to Danielle. "I said I don't know anything. I was at the fountain. I guess I fell asleep at some point. It's hard to tell what really happened and... what was a dream."
@Dark Cloud Characters tab, around the middle of the first post
Eric reflexively wrinkled his nose a bit. Of course, all Pokemon deserved respect. Still, he wasn't too keen on meeting a Grimer.

"If you wish," he reluctantly answered Emily. "It's up to you, I suppose, and whether you think it will help or harm your Pokemon at this stage."

The bespectacled man swiveled his ankle a little and looked back to Faye.

"Do you think it's alright? I'm supposed to work this evening. Of course it had to be the right, the left would've been more convenient."
2 of the main OC's: You're NOT DEAD?!

The other 2 main OC's: Not -yet-...
I like the idea of an outsider character. We were supposed to have a reporter at the beginning, but that player decided not to join.
