Aristotle is a man with blond hair, blue eyes, and he stands at 5 feet 10 inches. He is somewhat muscular thanks to some last-minute training provided by the army, but his powers are his real source of strength. Alex wears a superhero costume that consists of a blue jumpsuit colored like the Greek flag (
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Flag_of_Gre..) with the Olympic rings on the chest along with a mask that covers his face. The mask looks like the square part of the Greek flag, but in the shape of his face (and with slots for his eyes). He also wears white gloves along with white shoes. All of his clothing is immune to lightning so that he does not set it on fire or damage it by mistake.

Aristotle is a very determined man. Whether it is his country, his friends, or his family he will go to great lengths to ensure that they are safe. He is also intelligent, if a bit impulsive at times, but he is loyal to the people and causes that he cares about.
History: Aristotle was born and raised in Athens, Greece. His father was an archaeologist, so he gained a great appreciation for history, especially that of his country. Aristotle would accompany his father on archaeological expeditions from a young age, planning on eventually following in his footsteps someday and becoming an archaeologist. However, everything changed when the Italians invaded. Aristotle still went on those expeditions, but now the Greek government wanted his father to discover some kind of ancient, supernatural secret that would give their army a decisive advantage over the Italians instead of the historical ruins and artifacts he had been working to find and discover before.
Despite the lack of any distinct military advantage, the Greeks were able to hold off the Italians while these more urgent expeditions went on. And remarkably, Aristotle’s father did discover something that could create great change in Greek society; proof that the ancient Greek gods actually existed, along with ways to communicate with them. However, when Aristotle’s father was going to leave his remote archaeological site and reveal this new discovery, the Germans invaded. Fearing that this knowledge would get into the wrong hands or be destroyed, Aristotle’s father decided to have Aristotle take this information and leave the country while the archaeological team covered up their findings.
Aristotle was able to be snuck out of Greece thanks to his father’s links with prosperous and connected Greek-American businessmen and made his way to America. There, those same people gave him refuge and places to be hidden while he took the time to learn about his father’s discoveries. Aristotle learned that, through certain rituals, he could communicate with the Greek gods. He was surprised by this at first, but decided to try it himself and contact Zeus, the king of the gods.
Zeus was actually as surprised as Aristotle was, figuring that the Greek people saw no further use for the old gods. But he saw that Aristotle appreciated the history of his ancestors and desperately wanted to save his people from the Axis, so he granted him the power to control lightning.
After this, Aristotle used his father’s business connections to meet with the leadership of America’s super serum program. Not wanting to reveal where he got his new powers, he worked with trust parts of the American leadership to create a story; using the powers of the super serum, the new Greek super hero “Olympus” could now control lightning and would fight the Axis to help liberate his people. This would do practical damage to the enemy while boosting the morale of the Greeks and ensuring that this new knowledge of the old gods remained limited to just a few trustworthy people, a combination that appealed to the man. Once the Allies won, Aristotle can reveal the truth to his people and use this newfound knowledge for good.
Now Aristotle is on his way back to the old world, confident that he can use his powers to help save his country.
Abilities: Aristotle has the ability to create and control lightning. He can shoot it from his hands, use it as a sort of area of effect thing), and other such uses that can be inferred from this.
He may also communicate with Zeus through trancing, although this does not work all the time. (Note: this could be used for plot-critical stuff or other important junctures, I imagine this would be something that I could use on rare occasions.
Equipment: (Note 6: Includes stuff like weaponry, equipment, uniform, and even the vehicle you crew, if applicable.) His costume, a US Army Lieutenant’s Uniform, a fully loaded M1911 pistol (
