Post is up! It feels a little short to me, but I made sure to respond to everyone's actions while keeping the mysterious man a mystery for a bit :P I hope you all enjoyed it!

@DarkRecon something of an adversarial/rival (maybe both, who knows) could work. It's all in the details. I'll send a PM later today and we can discuss it!

@Byte I couldn't tell whether or not Intel was attacking, so I put her in the best position to respond to the dragon's actions this post, so to speak.

The man in the beret watched the scene unfolding before him with amusement. Some pretty boy named “Spotlight” - had he heard that name before? - had thought of a silly one-liner and proceeded to throw some kind of light spear at the dragon. And a girl out of the 1800s had created a wall of rubble to protect the team. Or that was his best guess. Probable, at the very least. Fighting people in costumes wasn’t the plan, but adaptability was always a strong suit. And so, with a twist of its serpentine body, the mythical creature simply contorted itself to let the blond’s attack bypass it. Now, for the blade and dragon girls who were…attemtping to taunt the beast? It seemed pointless and counterproductive, but who was he to judge? As if to reward the effort, the dragon attempted a singular sweep of its tail, attempting to swat the redhead. And for the wannabe Demon Hunter?

The dragon turned its head towards her and let loose a flamethrower.

Whether any of that hit or not, the beast was surprised to feel steel wire wrapped around a wing. From there, what the beret man guessed was some kind of acrobat would have some control over the creature’s flight. But not entirely. Now the dragon would pull itself upward, slower than usual, attempting to bring this girl up with it and more crucially, above the wall of rubble.

And when that was done, the dragon would send a huge blast of fire behind the improvised fortification, with Intel’s equipment getting a full view of it all.

@Byte it's cool, I try giving a week for posts because I know different folks have different availability. Of course, if everyone is early, I can post my response sooner. I enjoyed your writing!

@Scarifar seems good, he is approved! Go ahead and post him in the Characters tab. If you can post by tomorrow, cool, just do what everyone else did. If not, skip the first round of fighting and after I post, you can write something where Daniel is late, interacts with the receptionist, she gives him the address and he runs there through his power and fights like everyone else. Given his powers, it seems plausible enough and I don't want to force you to rush a post.

@DarkRecon there is no "gender quota" here. If you want to keep both characters in an adversarial role, that's cool, but if you just want to edit the CS so it's Alpha only that's fine too. Just let me know your preference and we can go from there!

That said, I have to reject these characters for hero roles. The hacking power seems too close in nature to Byte's character and I've kept it to one hero per writer so that I can manage things more easily and that everyone gets a chance to shine equally. I'm honestly surprised this came up more than once, since it hasn't ever in every RP I've ran in the past decade, but I apologize and have added that to the rules in the first post. I could maybe see them in an adversarial role though. Let me know if that interests you, I have an idea or two on how that could happen.
