Joseph followed the others, it taking every once of will power he had not to draw his bow and put an arrow into the three, soon two, who'd been on stage. Damn paranoia. Not everything and everyone is out to kill me. I hope. Sighing at his own pessimism, he almost misses the destination, which is the Death Mountain Foothills, a place he'd been but two or three weeks prior. "Yeah, I just cleared the foothills three weeks ago at most. There isn't a strong enough monster population for that kind of test yet, so what are we fighting then?" Knowing they had a destination in mind made it easier to relax slightly, and to help him further relax, he pulled the Hero's Bow off his back and began looking over the string, trying to see if any of it needed replaced.

AVP-esque RP

OK, so I know AVP is in the name, but it's not quite the same. The gist is that Weyland Industries found a way to successfully clone both the Xenos and the Predators. They have sub-dermal collars in the Xenos necks that, well, if it's being removed, the clone likely won't survive, and the Predator clones are conditioned to be loyal to the specific fire teams they're attached too. The Xenos are semi-susceptible to this same conditioning, but treat it with more of a pack mentality, with the Fire Team leader being the Alpha. I'm still hammering out the full idea in my head, but this RP would likely be capped at 8-10 players not counting myself. Really just curious to see how this would go over at this point.

James looked at the others and nodded, stepping down to let the others get in. "Yeah, sorry. Load up ahead of me, Sarge wants me covering the rear." Once everyone had loaded up, he made sure he didn't need anything from his pack and sat down on the back.

James listened to the others, scanning behind them as the APC sat at a stop. He found it odd that they hasn't at least seen an imperial patrol by now, but he wasn't going to bring it up. In fact, he'd been about to lean back and resume the drone of rear watching when it was brought up that they'd stopped to look at a Gallian Militia tank. He then decided to chime in. "Hey Sarge, it could be left overs from when the Army and regular Militia was retreating. We didn't exactly have time to grab everything on the way out." Still, he choose to err on the side of caution and checked his chamber to make sure a round was loaded.
