All people ragdoll in a certain degree. It wouldn't be logical for Zecratis to throw Shinji like a spear or something similar. He would, and many of my characters, would throw them in a way that they on't be able to recover easily. Especially when Shinji's shoulder has been stabbed by a huge sword.

Based on context:

You threw him at the waves.

David was on the ground, sending the waves at you.

Throwing Shinji at the waves would me that you essentially threw him directly across at David.

Which would mean, its still roughly ground level, close enough for him to dig his sword into the ground.

Am I wrong?

But you said as I threw him. He could be ragdolling towards the ground.
