Current Attn teeny boppers: You realize adbots aren't ppl, yes? They randomly generate login info, then execute pre-programmed posts. Your rage-spam goes unheard by the machine. And is equally annoying.

If you're going by UK conventions of knighthood/nobility, yes. It also would be pronounced like the "dam" in "madame," rather than like a Dick Tracy "daym."

Me: "Goku, thank God you're here!" Goku: "I heard a really strong guy was here! Lemme at him!" Me: "He's right there!" *Points at my Writer's Block* Goku: "... Sorry bud you're on your own."

Earthland - Phoenix Wing Guild Hall Rutger Artz
Neither the Master nor Damien seemed worried about their compatriots, and Rutger had heard that Phoenix Wing was strong...was this just another adventure to them? He was beginning to wonder if he shouldn't have tried for a more low-key guild...but then, Vincent approached him. He looked sternly at the assassin until the man spoke of starting over. Rutger's expression changed to one of uncertainty for a few moments. This man had murdered for coin. He had come here to find the weaknesses of the guild, and no doubt would have tried to kill them without a second thought if he ever encountered them in a mission with the information he needed. Obviously the members of the Guild would not have been an easy mark, but it was the thought behind the thing. But, Jamie's words had seemed to take a great effect on Vincent. The man seemed sincere about wanting to start over. Rutger had told him to meet every person in Fiore before he declared them "rotten." Just meeting Master Jamie alone had struck some sort of chord. This guild, and the people in it...meeting them, forming new bonds, having new experiences, pushing the horizons...Yes. Rutger wanted to be here. "Sure." Rutger smiled and extended a hand, gripping Vincent's in a firm but friendly grip. "We're both newbies, let's try and support each other." After the shake, Master Jamie called for them to receive their guild marks. Again Rutger raised his sleeve to reveal his right forearm, and held it out for the stamp. "Um, I guess...the same color of red as my scarf." he said, somewhat sheepishly. When he had received the stamp, and the guild's symbol glowed softly on his arm before fading into the colored tattoo, he stepped back and looked at it in awe for a moment, before returning his gaze to the master. "Well, Master, now that we're officially guild members, should we do something to help with this Edolas situation? Or do you want us to start working on something else? I mean, the cleaning is fairly done, except for all the broken stuff...I could burn it, I guess, but I'm still not confident in my magic..." @HeartlessAngel @Caits
Zeroth, I sent Joe off to do a mission ages ago.
I replied to it a while back, too, I'm pretty sure. I'll double check. Edit: Yep, it's on the page just before the last page, about 10 or 11 posts down.

"So basically you just think everyone needs more experience." Hayato said, finishing his meal. He was a quick eater, as it gave him more time to do other things with. "I'm in that bucket too, though. Professor Gene was telling me the same thing earlier today." He leaned back in his chair and put both hands behind his head. "Fighting Exbeasts was definitely way different from a sparring session. If I had been on that quest alone...I'd be dead. No questions asked. Those Blight creatures were weak, but with their numbers and their different abilities--trapping movement, attacking from range and from up close--they were really dangerous. And they're only D Rank! I can't imagine how screwed I'd be against something you're used to fighting." He sighed and shook his head. "Anyway, if it's alright with you, I'll definitely be calling you in the future. I think having an A rank around to learn from would be a big help." Then, suddenly joking again, he smiled and gave Hazel a wink. "Plus it'll make other people think we're dating, which will raise my reputation through the roof."
Well, with this weekend being Valentines (and the release of Monster Hunter 4 YEAAAAAAAHHHHH) I'm betting many folks will be busy, so it's alright if things are a little slow for now. Get well soon Liferusher! :)
No problems here, as long as Tsubasa gets his money.

Tsubasa
"Triple, huh? You remember, I hope, that half of my fee is paid up front and that it may increase based on expenses I incur?" Tsubasa crossed his arms as he turned to Hazael, but this time he wore the smallest semblance of a smirk. "My equipment is very important to me. Having it taken away, even temporarily, is going to cost you. But, for three times the price...sure. Consider Donat as good as dead." He turned away to head back to the same inn he'd mentioned before. "Remember, half the money by tomorrow, or I can't guarantee anything gets done. Same inn as before, ask for Kojiro." A fake attempt on the King, for the purposes of getting close to Donat. A bit of a roundabout...but potentially two birds with one stone, if he played his cards right. The fake attempt would give him the layout of the castle, and having the guards under Hazael's control on his side would give him plenty of escape opportunities or ways to get back into places that would no doubt be under heavier guard after the attempt on the King. It wasn't nearly as bad a plan as he'd initially thought, but...only an amateur wouldn't expect something to go wrong. No strategy, no matter how articulate, survives reaching the battlefield. He'd need to do a little bit of "research" tonight...but that would be no problem.
Earthland - Phoenix Wing Guild Hall Rutger Artz
While Rutger continued to clean up, Damien answered his question and Vincent asked another, regarding what had happened. Edolas...Rutger had read a few books speculating about it, whether or not it really existed, whether Fairy Tail's account of it could be trusted, and other things like that, but he had never heard of a book written by Fairy Tail themselves on it. That...that had to be Lucy Heartfilia, or Levy McGarden. Both of them were known to have had a penchant for writing about their adventures with the guild. Rutger's eyes clouded over as he continued cleaning, though a bit more distracted than before and twice as slowly. When he thought about books, his expression became dreamy and flushed. Then he remembered something, some tidbit he'd picked up somewhere. There had been some kind of accusation that, if Edolas was real, it was too conveniently "evil" to allow the guild of Fairy Tail--known for its own deliquency--to play the role of heroes. That same accuser had gone on to outline what they had learned about the Fairy Tail-Edolas incursion, though obviously they were biased...What line was it that was nagging at Rutger's memory so? Turning people into Lacrima to power their weaponry and other magic devices? What kind of storybook bad guys even are these that Fairy Tail has concocted? The sheer inhumanity of the thing, as well as the impossibility! Lacrima are crystals formed and mined from the earth! To convert organic substances into their structure would require... "Master!" Rutger suddenly spoke up. "I don't know the full details about Fairy Tail's travels to Edolas, but I've read some books denouncing them. One of them mentioned that, according to Fairy Tail, Earthland Magic Users were somehow being turned into Lacrima to power Edolas' lack of magic! What if the other guild members are in danger of that?"
Will the timeskip post include a response from Hazael to Tsubasa's proposal? Unless I can find another in-character reason for him to do so, he won't accompany the monster hunt or do much of anything if he's not directly profiting from it.
Is everyone busy or something? Seems awful slow lately...

Tsubasa
"And let's, again just for fun, pretend you DID manage to bring down the target, as every member of your occupation claims they're the best and I'm sure you're no exception, so an entire castle of guards, mages, and people trained from youth to stop your kind clearly makes nooooo difference. Then what? There's now an entire nation with no leader, fired up over expansionist ideals, and someone with less subtlety than the Minister takes control and makes the situation worse. Or someone who supports the current way of doing things takes over and does an inquisition to find MORE traitors. Or you fail, you're head is piked, and he once again speeds up his plan since he knows he's been outed. You're asking for a lot of money for a bad outcome either way." "Do I look like I care? No, really, look at my face." Tsubasa glared at the woman, a snarl on his lips and malice in his eyes. "She wants somebody dead. I want money. I kill the guy, I get the money, win-win. Obstacles? Don't care. Power vacuum? Don't care. Whether you, the rest of these people, the poor, the rich, the good, the evil, the starving babies, toothless grandmas, anyone at all lives or dies? Do. Not. Care." He turned back to Hazael. "You're the only one with something to say I DO care about, namely being, are you willing to pay or not? If not, I'll just leave town and find somewhere my services would be more acceptable. Or maybe, when your little coup d'etat goes horribly awry due to the collective incompetence of this bunch of know-nothings, Donat will put some bounties out, and I'll get my money THAT way."
