If you're going by UK conventions of knighthood/nobility, yes. It also would be pronounced like the "dam" in "madame," rather than like a Dick Tracy "daym."

Earthland - Phoenix Wing Guild Hall Rutger Artz
"Sounds good to me!" Rutger said to Vincent after carefully bobbing and weaving his head to catch the molten bits that had come his way. He wasn't really able to eat them, but he sucked the heat out through his mouth to get some of his energy back and spat out the now cooled rocks. War had to be an S class mage, the way he was simply shrugging off all these attacks. Even for an S rank he was strong. But there had to be a way to do some damage...Then Rutger saw the magnet mage charging up. "Alright, damn it!" he yelled, loudly, to get War's attention. He wore an expression of pure rage, as if he'd finally reached the end of his rope. "You want full power!? Here it is!" And though the shouting was mostly to get the enemy to focus on him, he meant it. As he sucked in a deep breath, his abdomen swelling out, the black flame aura around him completely disappeared as his magic power was focused and intensified internally. "FLAME GOD'S BELLOW!" The one he had used against the Gorian earlier that day had been the equivalent of spitting compared to this. In this attack, for the first time, he let the magic loose; unshackled it entirely. For the first time since the day he'd almost destroyed his home he unleashed his full power. The roaring blast of black flame shot forward, and just as Vincent had promised, there was a hail of knives instantly behind it, shielded from sight by the flames. War wouldn't be able to absorb the flames unless he emptied his reserves of magic, nor control it since this was Vincent's flame and not mixed with War's own. Even if he tried Vincent's knives were waiting for him. And if he focused his attention entirely on dealing with Rutger and the assassin's attack, he'd be completely open to the rail gun fired by the magnet mage. Something had to give somewhere...
Fair enough. You are likely right, but I might as well put this out now then: All your opponents are, minimum, S-Rank mages. Rutger is B-rank. Probably the only one capable of actually fighting these four is Jamie, and even then, she would have to use her magic wisely.
Right, that wasn't the part I had any issue with. Again, didn't mean to start an argument, sorry. Now let's see how far Rutger can get with a little creativity. *pops knuckles*
Very possible. Though, I still see Devil-Slayer as more powerful then God-Slayer, since the feats a single Devil-Slayer has pulled off all out due to combined feats of three God-Slayers.
Again, that points more to the level of the mages themselves than the magic being used. Orca and Chelia are God Slayers, but were pretty much chumps compared to other mages in terms of things like the amount of magic power they had, their fighting ability and experience, and so on and so forth. Silver being able to freeze a landscape instantly and put Natsu on ice tells me he's a very strong mage, not that his style of magic is inherently superior. If you gave the gun mages' little girl Natsu's magic, she'd probably be able to light candles and make fireworks. If you gave Gildarts Natsu's magic, he'd probably burn everything within fifty miles to ashes just by sneezing. Also, see the edit I made to my last post here for more on the chapter where Silver's magic is referenced.
You sir, have some required reading: http://fairytail.wikia.com/wiki/Ice_Devil_Slayer_Magic Second paragraph, second sentence.
"Able to somewhat control the ice of others" seems to me like it's questionable. I'm re-reading the chapter that was referenced, but I'm inclined to believe that it's only because Gray's ice magic is a normal type, not a Slayer type. Phantom Lord's fire mage, Totomaru, had an ability to control other types of flames too, and was able to use it on Natsu's Dragon Slayer flame, but afterwards Natsu wrested control back. No doubt a Devil Slayer equivalent of that ability would be stronger, but Slayer elements have some sort of different quality to them. If Gray had been an Ice Slayer of some sort I'm betting Silver wouldn't be able to take his ice from him without a special method like Natsu's special method of eating God flames. Edit: And after re-reading the chapter that was referenced, I think this is entirely incorrect on the Wiki's part. Nothing in that chapter showed Silver taking control of Gray's ice. He ate some of Gray's attacks and then spat more ice back at him, the same way Natsu has done to other flame mages--but only with a special method to another Slayer. The only instance where he might have "controlled" one of Gray's attacks is when Gray tried to channel his own Slayer ice back at him, and Silver was unaffected. This doesn't point to him controlling Gray's attack, but his own magic. If that's the case, then reversing War's own magic will indeed not work, but it doesn't mean War can seize control of anyone else's magic of the same/similar element.
*Possible Spoiler Warning* Before anyone complains about War, Devil-Slayer have been show to be able to control the attacks of another mages, as long as those attacks are of the same element. Also, Silver was shown to be borderline immune to all Ice-based attacks. Grey only beat him after having a metal ball in one of his attacks, though the ice still did nothing, while the ball did all the work. Also, may I point out that this is the magic that gave a guy the ability to freeze fire? And the ice was immune to Natsu's flames. EDIT: Albeit, I'm using Fire but still, you get the point I'm try to make.
Where were they shown to control other Mages' spells? I remember Silver being immune, but all slayers are immune to non-slayer elements save for special cases like that time eating different colored flames made Natsu sick because of the taste. If Gray had fought an Ice Dragon or Ice God Slayer they'd have done the same thing, just eating or withstanding his ice. Those other two points don't point to a specific trait of the magic itself, but Silver's strength as a mage. Silver was also alive in the first place because of another point, and for all we know his power could have been boosted by that. If it was Gildarts with Fire Dragon Slayer magic instead of Natsu, I'm betting he'd be able to do similar feats. Just because it shows up later in the manga, I don't think that puts Devil Slaying immediately above the other Slayer types. In fact it actually seems weaker on the whole because of the enemy they were fighting at the time: Dragon Slayer magic was made to fight Dragons. When Dragons actually showed up, no one but the Slayers could even hurt them--and even the slayers couldn't completely defeat them. This is a case of the Dragons being outright invincible save to one thing, but just having that thing doesn't mean they die, it just means that you can now inflict damage to them. If your strength isn't on par with theirs, having the Slayer magic won't help. Devil Slayer magic, on the other hand, was made to fight the Etherious. And those demons were being defeated by non-Devil Slayers to begin with. In this case, it's more like Kryptonite and Superman--if you're strong enough, you can beat him without Kryptonite. Having Kryptonite just makes it easier. Or like Pokemon type advantages. A Devil Slayer is super effective, but a normal mage who's outright strong enough can still beat the demon. That says, to me, (along with later events where things regarding dragons happen and the reactions the demons show to them) that Devils are lesser than Dragons. And it's already been seen that, unless the Dragon Slayer uses a special method or has much stronger base stats, so to speak, that God Slayer magic is inherently superior. Not to start a huge fight or anything, that's just my stance on it.

"Oh that's just bullcrap." Rutger said, clenching his fists angrily. "First of all, Demons are just as mortal as you or I--there's a whole colony of them on Garuna Island, for instance. The Etherious demons, however, aren't even natural. The books they came from were created by Zeref. Maybe the reason for you being able to do that is rooted deeper in the origins of God Slayer magic, since it's not known whether or not actual gods handed it down, but Devil Slayer magic being higher in heirarchy isn't logical. As for being immune to an element, ALL Slayer types are like that--A Fire Dragon Slayer could eat regular flames just as easily as I could. The only time they're not immune--the borderline, as you put it--is when facing another Slayer." But then Rutger clenched his fists again, producing black flame on both of them. "But rather than stand here and argue with you, I'll just do this!" He punched the ground with both hands, and once again his flames exploded...but this time, it wasn't the flame attacking War. "Fire God's Frag Grenade!" Technically, this wasn't a real spell he'd learned from the book. Rutger had come up with it just now on the spur of the moment--but he could see no reason why it wouldn't work. When the flames were punched into the earth and blasted it apart, large pieces of stone shrapnel were thrown towards War, tearing apart the ground beneath the two mages' feet. Propelled by the force of the blast, but not made of fire, the rain of earth shot towards the Devil Slayer like a supersized shotgun blast.
Behold, the power of being well-read and using logic. I think Rutger wins this round >:D

Rutger's eyes went wide as he watched the man eat his flames. He braced himself, knowing what had to come next. His body tensed--but his magic power waned, as if cowering in fear. When War unleashed his attack, the blast swept across the God Slayer like a volcanic tsunami...and his magic signature disappeared entirely. The Devil's flames crackled, burning and destroying everything around them. "When I found out my magic was a Slayer type..." A shadow appeared in the midst of the blood red flame. "I made a great effort to find out as much as I could about it." The flames began to suck inward, spiraling and whirling until they reached a single point, being drawn in a pressurized stream. Rutger sucked them down with a massive inhalation, until he had swallowed them all. "Dragon Slayer Magic, handed down from Dragons to Humans to end a great war between them. Fairy Tail had some of the most famous ones, but there were some in other guilds too." Rutger wiped his mouth, licking a singing flame from his glove in the process. "God Slayer magic was even rarer, but it too existed in other guilds, like Sabertooth and Lamia Scale. From clashes between them in highly publicized events like the Grand Magic Games, it was noted that Dragon Slayers could only overcome the inherent superiority of the God Slayer magic by emptying their body of magic power, a bit like creating a vacuum by sucking all the air out of a sealed chamber." His own flames, still tinged with the different shade of War's red, now flared out brightly around him in a fearsome aura. His face and body seemed somewhat strained, but his power was no less for that fact. "Devil Slayer magic was created to kill the Etherious, a specific breed of Demon artificially created by Black Mage Zeref. They seem to be rarer than either of the other two types...but they, like the Etherious, were still mortal-made. Do you really think the power of Gods would give way to that of Demons?" Both of Rutger's fists ignited in flame, one black and violet, violent and dark. The other, blood red, an evil shade of crimson. "I wasn't sure where our magics stood in hierarchy, so I emptied my reserves just in case. But now that I've tasted the flames, I've analyzed them as well." He held each one up, as if weighing them. "Black Mage Zeref was probably very close to understanding The One Magic, as the arts he used are mostly known as Lost Magics--one step below. But from those Lost Magics he created the Etherious, and the Books of Zeref which contain Black Arts. Another step down. The Devil Slayer magics had to be created afterwards, so while they're "lost" in terms of rarity...logically, they're still two steps below "true" Lost Magics...the family that God Slayers belong to." He pointed at War with the hand that burned with God-Slaying Flame. "To eat my magic, you had to empty your own--that was why you weren't attacking me. You couldn't, or else when I hit you the flames would have done actual damage. But, even if you do that again...you still won't be able to eat your own flame! That's the real weakness of the Slayer!" Rutger took a running start and leaped up high, coming down towards War with both fists raised. "FLAME GOD, FIRE DEVIL! HEAVEN AND HELL!" He brought his hands together, and the two orbs combined, growing stronger, larger, brighter...hotter, and hotter, until it was as if a miniature sun had been formed. The color became a brilliant shade of whitish blue, like the core of a blazing hot star. "GATES OF PURGATORY!" With his own flames mixed into it, War would not be able to consume this blast, and as it hurtled towards him it increased in size and intensity...

"Well, I guess you're not as stupid as whoever thought up your code names." Rutger replied, though he was just trying to hide how unsettled he was that his flames weren't doing anything at all. Not to mention that the man had seen through his strategy. He still hadn't moved, and normally Rutger would have thought this meant that his speed and agility were low. It would make sense, given his sturdy nature and the kind of tanky, strength focused archetype he seemed to follow. But now that Rutger knew the man was guessing his gambit, he could be pulling a double fake and concealing his real speed. But, he already had a good setup--whether he was a slow but strong fighter, or someone capable of both speed and strength, Rutger doubted that War would be able to simply shake this next attack off. He raised his hands and spread his arms. The few patches of Angry Sparks on War's body and clothing that he hadn't patted out yet flared up more brightly and floated away from him, as did any Angry Sparks that had been dodged or swatted aside. Now the man was surrounded from all sides by an arrangement of hovering black spheres of fire. "Flame God's Will-o-the-Wisp!" Rutger brought his hands clapping together, gripping them together into a double fist. Simultaneously, every orb crashed towards the center point--War. With every fireball surging towards him from every angle at once, there was no way to dodge them all. And when they collided, their powers combined and burst into a mighty explosion, a dome of black fire that expanded out in every direction, roaring with intense heat.
Now to see Jarvis' reaction to Amelia's wings, Rutger's reaction to his attack doing next to nothing, and Jamie's response to the wind armor
I'm guessing the mechanical arm or his own brand of magic has something to do with how he's able to just pat out God Slayer Flames instead of them melting the metal?
