If you're going by UK conventions of knighthood/nobility, yes. It also would be pronounced like the "dam" in "madame," rather than like a Dick Tracy "daym."

Earthland - Phoenix Wing Guild Hall Rutger Artz
"And I'd suggest you don't underestimate someone based solely on raw power." Rutger shot back. He kept firing the Angry Sparks, and now ran in a wide arc around War, blasting him from all different angles. Though Angry Sparks was definitely weak, the fact that the missiles were God Slayer flames and their high speed meant that they should still pack a bit of punch. That War could shrug them off--and more, put them out by smothering them with that metal hand--gave Rutger a better idea as to his abilities. Definitely durable, and he was strong enough to withstand the Master's magic pressure. I got a sense for his weight when I threw him. Heavy, hard to hurt, and strong. But he hasn't moved this whole time. Based on how he reacts to my run-and-gun, I'll get an idea of his speed... The Angry Sparks were coming from all directions now, and they were aimed at different parts of War's body. Some went for his face, others for his torso, and still more for his normal arm, the one that held the sword. Rutger, despite his pacifism, even dared to send a rare few shots at the man's eyes--surely the danger of being blinded would force a stronger reaction.
Earthland - Phoenix Wing Guild Hall Rutger Artz
For the first time in a long time, suddenly, Rutger burst out laughing. "Chaos!? Destruction? Death and War?!" He put a hand over his mouth to make himself stop giggling; this was supposed to be a fight! "By the Celestials, are you being serious? Not even the worst books I've read have had villains with names that ridiculous!" After taking a deep breath, he finally managed to compose himself...but he found he didn't feel quite as bad about fighting now as he had before. A combination of open declaration by the trio and the sheer ludicrosity of their names--which were still making him snigger--had served to relax his conscience. He faced down War--snrk--more seriously now, quickly taking in his opponent. That arm and the sword probably make him really good at close combat. Because the arm's mechanical it may have a lot of hidden tricks, and I have no idea what his magic could be. Best choice would be to stay at range and test him out first. Raising his hands, he curled the middle finger of one against his palm while keeping the others extended, and placed it in the flat of his other hand as if he were flicking something at War. In fact, that's exactly what he did. "Flame God's Angry Sparks!" Three times Rutger flicked his palm in rapid succession, and each time as the tip of his finger struck his other hand it was like striking a match along a rough surface. At the extension of his finger the spark flew forward like a rocket, a high speed blast of fire. Although the blasts were small and weak, they moved incredibly quickly, leaving black and red trails as they whistled through the air towards War...
Earthland - Phoenix Wing Guild Hall Rutger Artz
Master Jamie had been nothing but welcoming, even to Vincent. Seeing xem suddenly so filled with a tranquil, ice cold fury as xe explained who Amelia was and what had been done to her finally convinced Rutger that, if nothing else, these people needed to be expelled from the guild. And the fact that they were laughing the guild master's face didn't do a lot to help their credit either. He was so afraid of fighting, of losing control...he hadn't even met this Amelia girl, didn't know the first thing about her. But his guild knew her, and cared for her, and would protect her. His guild. Phoenix Wing. The force had various effects on the three standing in front of Jamie, all of whom stood their ground with varying degrees of success. The first male was struggling the most and being pushed back at a steady rate. The girl was faring better though not by much. The man with the mechanical arm was far the best and was barely even moved by the force. In fact, he almost seemed bored and cracked his neck. "Really Jamie, is this the best you have to offer?" He asked, looking at her. He was surprised the man would take such a simple course of action, considering the information they had on the guild master. "At least try to make this slightly entertaining. If this is all you're going to do, we'll be at this all day." In a flurry of movement that sent the stool he'd been sitting on clattering to the floor, Rutger dashed past Jamie. Moving with the force the master was giving off to increase his momentum, he was suddenly around and behind the man with the mechanical arm. He had told Damien he had never been trained to fight, and that was true. But back home, he'd been wrestling mountain rams over two hundred pounds to the ground for shearing since he was a child. Grabbing the black coated man by the back of his belt with one hand and the collar of his jacket with the other, Rutger's grip tightened until his leather gloves creaked. He bent both knees, and with a sudden roar, lifted the other man bodily from the ground and turned, using his entire body for leverage in a variation of a fireman's carry before he hurled the man out of the doors of the guild. He chased after him, tossing aside his brown cloak and backpack. He knew that wouldn't be enough to stop the man, if it had even hurt him. Once they were outside the guild, in the grassy fields between Magnolia and the East Forest, Rutger marched towards the man, his red scarf billowing out behind him. "I don't wanna fight, so if you want to leave, now is your last chance." He brought both fists crashing together, and they were enveloped by black flame. An aura of the same began to surround the young man. "But you seem like the strongest of the three...so I don't think I have to worry about holding back on you." The sheepherder's gentle eyes suddenly narrowed fiercely, and his flames increased in intensity, crackling and popping as if they were cheering for their freedom.

"W-w-wait a moment! Can't everyone calm down a bit?" Rutger said, standing up from his stool with his hands up defensively. "Master Jamie, runaway children don't always have good reasons for leaving--I don't think we have enough of this story from either side to make conclusions. And you guys," he looked at the three people who seemed to be just as eager to fight as everyone else was, "There's no reason to try and beat information out of anyone here, why not just explain things more thoroughly?" He really hoped things wouldn't come to blows--not only had they just finished cleaning the guild up, but if he had to fight and use his magic, Rutger was afraid of what the consequences might be...
Hayato
After bidding farewell to Hazel and heading back to his dorm, Hayato took off his torn and dirty blazer and threw it into the trash. No real point trying to repair it after all the wood Blights had done to it. He had plenty more where it came from. Removing his shoes and tie and untucking the white button-up shirt he wore beneath the blazer, he settled down at his desk to read over his subjects and do his homework. But despite trying his best, he couldn't focus. His head seemed to have room for only one thought. Rikuto, where could you be? Eventually he managed to finish his studies, and by that time it was late enough that he decided to go to bed. Early to rest, early to rise, as they said.
John
The student inside the barrier nodded. "So it's a little like the SMT games, huh? Just gotta negotiate and hope for the best." He sighed, and returned to his summoning ritual. One of the other students in the stands spoke up next. "So, as a Summoner, it's a little different than being another magic class like Adepts and Binders, right, since we can't cast spells on our own? When we're in a fight with another Exbeast, should we just stand back and let our summons do the work, or what?"
Earthland - Phoenix Wing Guild Hall Rutger Artz
"Ah, so it's a bit like elemental Metal magic I guess?" Rutger said as Damien explained and demonstrated his magic. "Except instead of other forms of metal, you're just using various types of blades? Is it only swords and knives, or could you make things like axe and spear heads, or the kind of spinning buzz saw like in a woodshop?" Vincent was the next to display his magic, and while Rutger was impressed, he tried to keep himself from rolling his eyes when Vincent bragged about creating it himself and mastering it. "Can't a lot of elemental-type mages learn to transform their bodies into the element they control?" he said, somewhat dismissively. "Your magic doesn't seem like something "original" as it does just like a focused branch of Lightning magic. I think I read somewhere once that Laxus Dreyar of Fairy Tail was able to transform into a lightning bolt and move in that manner. And even if you stumbled on it on your own instead of learning from someone, isn't saying you're a master of it a little...presumptuous?" Master Jamie had similar things to say, and mentioned that the magic xe could use was capable of changing environmental properties. Rutger thought that, if his assumption was correct and the master also used transformation magic to give xemself that strange, ever shifting appearance, that the two magics were probably a very potent combination. He felt a little bashful and nervous now, as he held up a hand to demonstrate his own magic. He concentrated only on using just enough to show them, and on keeping it tightly contained. In his palm, a black flame, tinged with purple and dark red, bloomed about the size of a flower. It pulsed and thrummed, crackling at its edges as if it were seeking a route to break free of the mage's control. "My magic is the Flame type God Slayer magic...I learned it from an enchanted tome that I got my hands on by sheer chance. I don't think even the fellow I bought it from knew what it was, because I couldn't even read it until I figured out the spell on it. At first I wanted to learn it just out of idle curiosity...but now, before I can put it to any real use, I've got to control it. It got away from me once...and I can't let it happen ever again." He clenched his fist, smothering the flame. "It doesn't just burn...it's like a halberd of destruction that obliterates anything in its path." When Damien challenged him and Vincent to a test of their skills without their magic, Rutger again looked somewhat embarrassed, and scratched the back of his head. "Um, I...can't really fight, I don't think. I've never been trained in martial arts or anything. Back home I tried the folk wrestling games we had in the village festivals a few times, but I never won first place." They all turned as someone new entered the guild, asking questions about someone they were looking for. The Master and Damien were instantly suspicious, but this person didn't seem all that threatening at first glance. Then again, Rutger knew from personal experience that you couldn't judge books by their covers. He sat quietly and let the others do the talking, more than content to observe. He hoped things wouldn't escalate too much.
Hayato
"D'oh!" Hayato rolled backwards as his chair clattered to the floor, over his shoulder and coming up on one knee, specifically his left, with his right foot on the ground as if ready to rise. Instinctively he had grabbed his sword and brought it with him during the fall; his position now was just like that of the classic Japanese sword drawing stance from a crouch. Of course, he'd fallen into it out of habit, not because he meant to attack anyone. For that to be an instinctive reaction, however, was evidence of just how often he'd been training. "Alright, alright, enough with the jokes I guess." he said, standing up and dusting himself off. He smiled and gave Hazel a small wave. "Anyway, I'll be heading out now I guess. Just make sure you pay me back before the end of the week, okay? See ya around."
John
The student preparing to make the summons looked at John nervously, nodding and hanging on to every word he said. "What should I do when it appears, though? Is there anything specific I should say or do to...to prove my worth, I guess? I mean, do you have to prove your dominance over the summon or something?"
Joe in Excaledvol
Joe soon had more than enough that if he wanted to head back to the school, he would have a decent addition to his credits. The mission had warned that staying too long might lure Exbeasts...but then, Joe didn't really seem worried about that. Behind him on the clifftop there were a few woody areas where trees managed to cling to the sides of the craggy rocks or find purchase in the loamy soil beneath the thick cushion of vegetation. And somewhere in those trees, something rustled...
If anyone feels like they're running out of things to do, I could wrap up the two missions currently underway real fast and we'll timeskip to the next day. Would that be alright with everyone?
New Torrea
Tsubasa
After he left the gathering of crazies, Tsubasa had at first returned to his inn. He spent a great deal of time checking and double checking his equipment; he sharpened his sword, but not quite to a razor keen edge. If he had to clash blades, he didn't want the sword too brittle. A razor sharp edge might cut, but it would also shatter. A decent whetting was good enough to cut through flesh without sacrificing the integrity of the blade. He sorted through his supplies and extra clothing; he would need a disguise in case he were discovered snooping around the castle. His black coat and normal dark clothing was just personal choice--for actual stealth, he would need something dark enough to blend into the surroundings at night. Anything that was an actual, solid black would be unnatural. Dusk turned things a hazy blue, or a shade of midnight, or a dull gray. By the time he was done making his preparations it was much later. He ate a meal, and then sat on his bed for some time, relaxing and meditating, his sheathed weapon lying across his lap. A knock at the door prompted him to open a single eye. "Come in." The man was wearing casual clothing, but Tsubasa had an eye for these things and knew he had seen combat. The way he held himself, the man had to have been a soldier. "You are Mr. Kojiro?" he said. When Tsubasa nodded, he held up a sealed envelope. The wax was blank, no signet...but it was also a deep red color, the kind from expensive candles only people in high standing could afford. "I've a letter for you from a mutual acquaintance." "And?" The soldier stepped aside, and a pageboy walked in carrying a chest of coins. He placed the chest in front of Tsubasa and backed out. With the toe of his boot the assassin opened its simple catch lock and pushed the top over. He stared at the contents for several moments as the soldier and page stood nervously awaiting his response. "Alright." he said finally. "That looks about right." He opened both eyes now and gave them an icy stare. "Thanks. You can go now." He had the money--Three hundred thousand up front. Hell, that was more than he would've gotten for a normal job of this caliber. He could just high tail it out of the city now with this and let that knight woman and those crazies deal with this for themselves. But of course, that would tarnish his reputation. And that would affect future employers. Again he checked and double checked his equipment. He secured what belongings he would not be taking with him, and the chest, in his room and left the inn in a set of clothes not at all conspicuous from those of the still bustling citizens around him. His hair was now a deep, chocolate brown after a quick wash with a special dye. As the sun set, he nonchalantly set off down the streets, taking a long-about route that would take him past the castle a few times. For the rest of that night, he did his "research." And the next day, as the rest of the group gathered around Hazael for a second time, a pair of servants driving a cart full of laundry underwent their usual daily inspection at the castle gates before being waved through. Tsubasa was in.
Earthland - Phoenix Wing Guild Hall Rutger Artz
The talk of Dark Guilds made Rutger nervous. Damien was right, Phoenix Wing had made quite the name for itself over the past few months. That was why Rutger had heard of them and decided to come join. Any Dark Guild that wanted revenge on them, or to raise its reputation, or even to simply deliver a blow that said to the rest of the magical world "we are not afraid," would see Phoenix Wing as a target. And with all the other guild members gone...But then, Damien and the master were talking about a defense system. Master Jamie didn't seem very worried regardless. "Yes, please. Thank you." Rutger said when Master Jamie offered pie. He was quite hungry himself after his travels; now that he thought about it, he had only eaten a few meager meals to keep himself going over the last few days. His supplies had run out and he had tried to save his money where he could for the purposes of paying Guild fees or whatever he needed in Magnolia town. He only had around 15,000 Jewels left in his wallet. However, when Damien summoned up the ghostly images of several swords, Rutger forgot about his hunger. In anticipation of the pie he had taken a stool at the bar, and now he leaned forward on the seat eagerly. "Mr. Damien, is that Re-Quip magic?" he asked. For all his reading, he hadn't actually seen other types of magic aside from his own and that of any magical beasts he had encountered on his travels. @HeartlessAngel @Caits @Zarkun
