The first thing someone notices about Vallory is her height. She is exceedingly tall for your average woman, standing at a staggering 6'4. She's very muscular, above the average BMI in She has fair skin, dirty blonde hair, and hazel eyes. She is pretty, with a strong jaw and prominent nose.

S T Y L E

Vallory likes to wear clothes that show off her physique. She's a very showy woman in general. All of her clothes either show skin or are form fitting when in casual settings. Lots of tank tops, crop tops, and leggings. Her hair is always tied up into a bun. Usually she just wears simple colors like white and black. Every once in a while you might catch her with a pink armband or headband.

This is contrasting with her pro-wrestling outfit. Bright pink, thigh highed, laced up boots. Shorts and a midriff-baring top with a heart shaped window. She wears a mask around her eyes and her blonde hair is tied into two shorter ponytails. Her normally naturalistic make-up goes all out, her face a-sparkle in the bright light of the squared circle.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

• VALIANT - No doubt about it. Vallory has a hero's heart. Where ever there is evil, she will be there. She will encourage others to do the same. Face fear, overcome the odds, destroy apathy with reckless abandon! Keep pushing forward, swim against the river, always improve yourself! Don't just find meaning in life, take it. There will never be an opportunity Vallory doesn't seize, a day she doesn't make the fullest of. Well...perhaps sometimes she needs a day off. But even that is just a necessary step for further self improvement.
• VENGEFUL - Vallory has an anger problem. Sometimes, embarassingly for her, it can be over quite trivial things. Simple frustrations can build until she feels like she has to lash out. Injustice also truly gets under her skin. She can become aggressive and wrathful, pursuing those who have done wrong with aforementioned reckless abandon. Above all she hates feeling helpless or powerless. She can act quite out of character under extreme circumstances like those. If she feels like a failure, her anger can be directed towards herself, as well.
• VIVACIOUS - As one might have already guess, Vallory is a woman of high spirts and high energy. She laughs loudly and loves proudly. An extrovert to the core, Vallory actually gets antsy when she has no one to talk too for too long. She is very empathetic, and it's difficult to feel uncomfortable around her. Unless you are a jerk of some kind, in which case Vallory isn't afraid to stand up to you and make you feel uncomfortable. Vallory is quite adept at social queues and despite her bombastic personality, is a good listener. Not to mention she's quite the romantic. She's very confident in her body and likes looking good.

F A C T S

• Vallory is a semi-famous professional wrestler who goes by the name Starshine. She's in the Women of Power League. Ever since she was a girl she loved acting and sports, but could never reconcile the two. When the fantastical idea of becoming a professional wrestler occured to her- well, there really wasn't any going back. Starshine is the faciest of all faces, the most heroic and kind-hearted wrestler out there. Her stage persona is a bit ditzy and naive, which gets her into trouble. Vallory likes to think this is purely an act, but sometimes she wonders if she really doesn't help out with the stereotype that blondes are all dumb valley girls. Occasionally she dials back on the sex positivity icon shtick to talk with the kids and be a little more wholesome. Needless to say, she loves this job. It's the best job. When she isn't doing that, she's a Certified Personal Trainer.
• Ten years ago, when Vallory was a child, she was in a car accident. Her father, Victor, and little sister, Julia, were badly hurt- her sister walks with a cane to this day. This car accident was due to chaos related to the invasion of the Druidon Warfare Tribe. At the time, she felt like she could have helped, but she was pinned underneath something heavy. She'd never felt so powerless. If only, she thought, if only she was stronger. Thankfully, both Victor and Julia survived. Rescued by some brave Paramedics. That was the most traumatic day of her life, and the origin of her desire to be both strong and heroic. She'd never be too weak to help again. She also holds a grudge against Druidon for being indirectly responsible for the accident in the first place.
• Yeah. She's tall. You know it, she knows it, we all know it. If she were a guy this wouldn't be a big deal, but because she's a girl, it is. When she reached middle school and realised she wasn't going to stop growing, she became embarassed about her height. Believe it or not there was a phase of Val's life where she wasn't boistrous nor confident. Thanks to the support of her friends and her mom, Jessica, she came to appreciate herself, and everyone else, for who they were. She has had some experience with being picked on or made fun of, but now she doesn't let it bother her. Plus, her height really helps her stand out in the ring.

R A N G E R

Why is Vallory a good fit with the Rangers? Vallory is passionate, brave, and strong of will. She also has a bone to pick with these particular forces of evil. She would try to help against them with or without powers because of these reasons. Starshine is also something of a staple of the community and though her acts of protecting the innocent are fictional, she still feels a very strong connection to Angel Grove. Finally, she is very strong and athletic with combat training...of a sort. She'll still need some training if she's going to wield the weapons and abilities of a Power Ranger.

To be clear: I'm down to changing her powers to be whatever. Limited to just healing, if you want. I just didn't want to define any potential future fun out of existence. :P

@EchoicChamber Sure- I just meant to say she's a good healer. Limbs can be re-attached and stuff like that. If there isn't a heart beat she can make one, maybe. A super natural healer who can heal people even if they have super weird biology.

The two main abilities are what she's going to do. I kept her potions somewhat vague just incase we wanted to do something fun with them later, I didn't want to define them too much so we had our options open. And I didn't want to write a huge library of potions and then, y'know...not be able to do a fun thing, I guess. A soft magic system as opposed to a hard one, more thematic than rigid. Basically a reality warper with focus on healing and via ritual and potions.

I'm not going to be doing any power gamey stuff, just to be clear. I was planning on her being a quirky support character.

Resonant Stone:

The main conduit of Lily's powers. Wear them as an object for her powers to work. She usually makes them into a necklace, but they can be anything, even just held in the palm of the hand. They must be specially made through arcane processes that take a while. They usually take the form of river-polished stones with runes carved into them. But they can be trinkets, talismans, or drawings.

The Resonant Stone's do not need to be equipped on someone for healing potions to work. But they do help. Especially with the more severe wounds. More severe wounds such as detached limbs will need special attention from various items Lily has at her disposal. It's by no means an instant process but given enough time she can help people survive grievous wounds.

Lily's "magic" only works in two circumstances- either she is there, or a Resonant Stone is there. If neither are present, the paranormal affects of whatever she is doing will be severely dampered. If both are there, the magic will work slightly better and be harder to disturb.

Lily's power comes from belief, and dreams. The idea that believing something to be so makes it so. She is one of the few people in the world to have ever truly grasped this concept. This belief can Resonate through objects, which is what the Resonant Stones are. If there are none, then only the residual power of the objects themselves remain, which isn't much.

Main Powers:

Healing: Lily can heal extremely grievous wounds with various bizarre medical techniques. Most of them involve potions and Resonant Stones.

Pigeons: Lily has various pet 'clay' pigeons around the school that report back to her whenever an incident occurs.

Fourth Room: There are three primary rooms in Lily's office. The third one, always available to the public, looks like an ordinary nurse's office. It even has things like a first aid kit and an eye-washing station.

The second room is where most of her treatment happens. It had stranger supplies. The walls and floor are made of wood, the light on the wall is an ethereal flame that is comfortably warm to the touch. There are cabinents and book shelves and chests. A large wooden table with optional straps for doing more advanced procedures. The second room is heavily enchanted. People have a hard time fighting in here- resonant stones are in every corner and there are runes hidden on the reverse side of the floorboards. It's a non-violence zone.

The third room is Lily's bedroom. Students are rarely allowed back here, but Lily doesn't seem to be particularly secretive about it. There's a comfortable bed, a chalkboard with writing that spills onto the wooden walls around. A book shelf lined with old tomes. The ceiling in particular seems to be some kind of star map of an area of space that doesn't exist.

The Fourth room, no one is allowed into. For their own safety. It's a space between spaces, a land where dreams and nightmares become reality and the shadows of the world become reality. It's also home to the Oldest Library, the place where Lily first found the Oldest Book when she was a little girl. In it she is capable of viewing extra-planar dimensions and entities. The most dangerous experiments are done here. It seems to stretch on forever, but the extension of Lily's power is clearly marked. There is a boundary where the Fourth Room ends and the rest of the strange world it resides in begins. Travelling outside without proper protection is extremely dangerous. Slowly over time Lily extends her influence but, since she has a sizeable amount of territory staked, she has ceased for now.

Lily is a potion making genius. She carries on her an assortment of vials for various purposes. They can boost one's strength, speed, durablity. Enhance powers or disable them. Kill someone instantly. Most of the potions she makes, the more common ones, are for medicinal purposes. They can cure a vast amount of ailments. Powder can be applied to wounds to patch them up and liquids imbibes to seal them. The potions seem to have an intelligence of their own, like drinking them is inviting a personality into one's heart. All of these are the "Real Cures". They are the true medicine of this world, with everything else being a false imitation. According to Lily, anyway. These potions tap into the power of the mind and soul.

She is also a master of the occult. Lost languages, strange rituals. She is capable of altering life and bending creatures to her will. Objects can be granted powers, becoming trinkets and talismans. All of this with preparation, experiments, and testing before hand, of course. Either way, Lily seems to have a 'truer' understanding of the world than most people do. Clearly, this knowledge has cost her some of her mind.

Besides drawing on the latent powers within our own reality, Lily has two main abilities.

Heal Ailment: She can heal people of injuries with her potions.

Twist Creature: A ritual to bend the will of living things to her will. She mostly does this with doves. Now they look like they are made of clay, with oily black eyes. They follow her commands and observe the school, reporting back to her when there are incidents she is needed for.

She can do much more than this, but these are the two things she will do the most. However potions can be brewed for various purposes should the need arise, and rituals can be prepared in interesting circumstances. All she needs is the knowledge and the ingredients.

Description: Lily is a very beautiful blonde woman, standing at about 5 feet, 4 inches tall. Her hair is always tied up into a bun. She has glassy hazel eyes. Her frame is fit, but not muscular. She wears simple clothes, usually t-shirts of various grey colors. The most exceptional thing about her is her large, heavy leather satchel. It's full of various potions and items.

Personality: The first thing someone notices about Lily is the strange way she talks. Very often she says things in roundabout, obtuse ways that seem like nonsense that has to be deciphered. She even speaks words in a language no one knows but her. She's not incapable of speaking normally and succinctly. But about half the time it's like her words are being filtered through something. She doesn't seem to be aware her words often don't make sense to other people. She prefers it when people talk straight with her.

Lily is also distant, forgetful, and unobservant. Most of the time she is lethargic and detached. She's also habitually tired. Her sleep schedule is non-existant, so she is very sleepy a lot of the time. Occasionally she will just drift off into a nap. Sometimes she forgets where she is, why she is there, or even who she is in the first place. It can all just melt away. And all that's left is the True Reality of her works.

Lily likes helping the people at Lanius. Especially the students. She lives at Lanius and feels safe there. Lily is hardly a teacher and will usually just let the students do whatever they want. The only exception being violence, which she will try to stop. If someone is interested in learning from her about her occultist ways, they will quickly become aware that reading the texts in her library are what caused her to be the way she is.

Much like she has bouts of complete apathy, she will occasionally become hyper-lucid. Then, she is quick, volatile, energetic and optimistic. Though she can also be irritable. She even becomes something of a flirt, trying to catch the attention of the other teachers. This is quite rare though and usually only happens when she gets enough sleep.

Nonetheless, the thing Lily cares the most about is her work. As long as no one destroys her room and her projects, she can be friendly and co-operative. She even has a strange wisdom about her. She is an agent of Real Truth, and can be aware of lies, facades, and omissions.

Crush: Most of the teachers here are handsome and beautiful.

Skills:

She has exceptionally clear handwriting, beautiful calligraphy, and unbelievably stable hands. Other than that, it's only her studies into the occult. She can read the ancient texts and languages there that no one else can, unless they commit to the same path she has followed.

Weaknesses:

Just catch her unawares and destroy her potions. Without them she doesn't have much going on. She also doesn't like drinking her own potions, preferring instead to give them to others.


Brief History: There isn't too much to say. Lily was a normal girl with normal parents and a sister. She was lively, a bit introverted, and loved spooky stories. Then one day, she found the Oldest Book. It was an exponential ascendance. She became obsessed, did some untoward experiments on her school mates and...here she is. She is something of a shut in and rarely if ever leaves Lanius grounds. She asks people to bring her ingredients from the outside world. In return, she is a perfect nurse, able to heal the grevious wounds that may be afflicted on the students here.

Other: Her personal quarters and the nurses office are only separated by one door, and are pretty much one and the same. It is a strange place full of trinkets and notes that look scattered and incomprehensible. Still, it feels...safe. It is a magically protected place.

They just kept coming. Sakura had the stamina to keep fighting, but she could only be in so many places at once. A destroyer, an Abyssal that looked like Bullet Bill by way of Alien, charged at her, teeth gnashing. The thing illicited a fear response in her that she couldn't repress. When she looked at it, she imagined it biting her throat out. The more she fought, the more these terrible things got under her skin. The threat of life and death was one she didn't have much experience with. For the second time this week she had jumped out of the Atomos and faced death by Abyssal, and Sakura feared she wouldn't be able to take much more.

"Hooh!" She kiai'd away as much of her nervousness as possible. The destroyer flew in, looking to bite into her neck. Sakura raced her arms and it seemed like it didn't mind what it wrapped its arms around. But that would prove to be it's mistake. There was a dull thud of blue energy as she blocked the charge. It bounced off her like a wall, and she countered with a jab. Her knuckles spintered rock three times in a row before it looked unsteady and woozy. Sakura wrapped her arms around it, span around and threw it a ludicrous distance away from the battle. It became a little black shape and then splashed. Stunned, it didn't resurface.

Two more came in next to each other. She fired off a single cannon shot, taking a chunk out of one and knocking the other side. In a crude bit of proper street fighting, Sakura zoomed up and grabbed them by the jaw. She smacked them together to finish stunning them and then tossed them aside into the drink. She cracked her knuckles, acting tough. "Who wants some more!?" Sakura taunted. To anyone listening, it was clearly fake, her voice breaking a little. She was getting nervous.

(Maybe if I act brave and cool, I'll feel brave and cool, too?)

A He-Class cruiser, a strange, featureless humanoid halfway merged into a floating rock that ended in mouths, with a cannon for a right arm, came to a stop behind her. The cannon began to glow and it pointed it's way towards her.

Bursts of yellow energy came forth. It looked like the Abyssal's cannon arm was falling apart of the seams.

"Hadoken!" Sakura shouted, letting loose on of her blue fireballs. Her Hadoken and the yellow bursts of energy met with a burst, but her Hadoken pushed through. Realising this, the He-class dodged to the right. "Hadoken!" Sakura fired out another ball of blue flame. The He-class dodged- right into it. She'd actually fired it to the right, predicting that it would pre-emptively dodge right again. It was kind of like changing up the fireball timing so Karin would mess up her jump in, but adjusted for this new world of fighting. Plus, this fireball was very fast- the speed of a fastball. Hard to dodge.

Nonetheless, the He-class was hit, and it slid back from the explosion that followed. Sakura punished it further with a blast from her cannons. It's gun arm fell apart and it sank beneath the waves. She couldn't help but feel sympathy for them. How different were they from Bella and Rika? Unlike Bella, Sakura was realising that they will never get a chance to be anything other than bloodthirsty monsters. What a cruel fate.

A destroyer came zooming up from below the waves. It emerged like a dolphin as she side stepped it. Flying uselessly about twenty feet in the air, Sakura moved underneath it. She caught it and slammed it over her knee. Then she let it drop into the water.

(Is this really any better than just killing them? They'll probably just end up dying anyway. But, then again...I'm not sparing them for their sake, am I? I'm sparing them for mine. But now I'm starting to realise this just might be crueler.) She looked over her shoulder at the Abyssal she had spared a while ago. It was a He-class, too. And it was just kind of "standing" there, over the water. Not even glancing around. Pacified, but little else. It would probably be discovered by the Armored Corp that was order to follow behind the battlefield. Then, it would be blown to pieces.

(...As long as I don't have to do it.) Sakura thought. The selfish nature of this made her face red with embarassment. She knew Mister Geralt said doing this would be okay but...she just felt like she was making everything worse for everyone, just for her own sake. Everyone else was destroying these Abyssals without hesitation. Why couldn't she? Was something wrong with her?

Thinking of the Witcher, Sakura's eyes glanced up towards the Atomos. He was- yeah, he was riding the giant bird. Sakura would probably laugh about that later. "Don't fall, Mister Geralt!" She yelled helpfully up at him.

Smacking down a few more destroyers of various kinds, Sakura was interrupted by an explosion. A massive series of explosions. That was good? What wasn't good was what happened next. The harbor wall they were trying to detonate opened for them without hesitation.

"W-woah. That's a big one." Sakura said, recoiling from the Harbor Demon's presence even from here. Sakura winced, looking away as she saw another ship girl die. Her palms were sweaty, her hands were shaking. It had been different, when it was just her and Ranger versus the person that would be Bella. This was different. The sheer scale was too much. The Harbor Demon was throwing Abyssals like they were stones into a pond.

It's massive cannon pointed towards the Jackdaw, and Sakura gasped in horror. The Street Fighter got closer to Shippy and shouted up. "What are we gonna do!?" It was so far away, and there were so many Abyssals interposing themselves between them and the Harbor Demon! Not to mention she was blasting everyone with reckless abandon. But maybe..?

"Should I go for it?" Sakura asked. Sakura began to speed up ahead of Shippy, skating quickly along the water. She wasn't going to let that Harbor Demon blow up the Jackdaw. Even worse, once the Jackdaw was sinking, that cannon would turn on Shippy next. Sakura groaned, frustrated and indecisive. She decided to stay near Shippy and defend her as much as possible.

"Maybe the Atomos can take her out!?" She shouted. "I- I don't know!" A He-class appeared and fired off some rounds. She blocked them, grunting as the energy exploded off her arms. She ducked to the side long enough to get out a couple of Hadokens to knock the Abyssal out.
