That version of Touho is, indeed, unedited. There will be several changes as I stated when I posted the bio. She is currently in a state not befitting this power level because she is directly imported from the Naruto universe.

I categorically refuse to be sorry, however, for using the style of character that I am familiar with and going against the norm. I am not a fan of using bullets or modern technology - and this is a tournament. We do not enter this to lose.

Still, I appreciate the concerns regarding some of her abilities and will be addressing several issues that inevitably occur from a direct import into an unfamiliar universe. Be patient, young ones.

Hopefully Innue will at least request the list of weaknesses to stop meta-gaming, but we'll see.


Hopefully Innue will stop getting getting feedback and advice on what to do when it isn't solicited. At least give me a chance to make a mistake on my review of the characters.

Considering a wide majority of the characters do not have explicitly stated weaknesses on their abilities and mostly describe the mechanics of it, that would be a ridiculous thing to require of him.

I don't want to sound like a jerk, but it is as if Tuujaima didn't even read the other participants' character sheets before posting theirs.

EDIT: sure, there wasn't any strict power level mentioned in the rules, but still, it seemed like we had came to some sort of consensus on the upper limits. I guess that's why i feel a little bit bitter.


The character has not been accepted. It's like getting bitter at someone who was going to buy World of Darkness.

I was just attempting to re-assure someone I thought might be dissuaded from joining by pointing out the character was probably going to be edited.

I'm not going to argue with the unsolicited advice comment, though I was under the impression that was what the transparency model you were going for was about, I was obviously wrong.

I've seen too many 'friendly' advice turn a thread toxic when it is about a person's character, so in general my rule is that it is something that should be privately messaged to me. I had hoped this wouldn't need to be explicitly stated given that we've all had enough experience to know how these things generally play out in combat oriented threads.

On the commentary on my model, transparency allows you to see my process. It is not free reign for public commentary on things - especially on matters I have not yet begun to address.

I would prefer not having my patience (and I am a very patient person) tested with these kinds of things right now given how busy work has been the last few days. Please be considerate of this.

@Nightangel - I need a touch more information on how your first weapon pierces magic defenses. Am I correct in assuming that elemental expressions or magical force would still deflect it and that it primarily works on static magic barriers? Once clarified, you'll be accepted.

Sounds fair. I kind of figured the pride empowerment would be an issue and have already come to a conclusion to hopefully simplify things. I'll only give him a x5 multiplier and can only advance one level at a 5 post minimum. This also means I'll have to put specifications for a couple things, namely physical strength, which I'll place as a maximum of 600 pounds he is able to lift at base power. Everything else I'll keep consistent as that would likely be too complicated. If him lifting just over 3 and a half tons at max power is too much, just let me know
