@Ryougu: Magic + fighting = shenanigans. You can do a lot by making the mundane cool.

Example: Shoryuken. Don't actually just steal the shoryuken, though, but you should see what I'm getting at. Elemental shenanigans. Superpowered punches or kicks. Grabs, hold, suplexes, et cetera. Take a skill and add a bit of flashiness to it. Anyone can pull off an uppercut, but not everyone can, like, zap someone silly in the process.

Raymon is a young male with long black shoulder-long hair that starts to curl at the bottom. He has brown eyes accentuated by his pale skin. He is 6 foot tall and weigh a little under 185 lbs.
History:
Raymon was born into a peaceful family...maybe a bit TOO peaceful. Both of Raymon's parents were stereotypical hippies, so instead of going to school, Raymon was... homeschooled. Raymon never agreed with his parents however, so when he got his hands on some actual study material during his early teens, he was overjoyed. He spent a lot of time in the library since then.

Oddly enough and to the surprise of both friends and parents, he developed a liking for punk music. He went to several concerts where he met several people that he would occasionally hang out with. Until one day.... he ended up here, at the desk of the secretary of some god he'd never heard of. Would he accept the strange and probably dangerous proposal? Of course!

Personality:
Raymon is a punker by nature, but punk is just a music style. Raymon, while he doesn't quite look it, he gets along with others easily since he's seen quite a few points of view and thoroughly understands them too. He is usually light-hearted and easy-going. Raymon believes the peaceful outcome to be the best, but understands that sometimes you must fight to protect what you stand for.

Abilities:
-Skilled at martial arts.
Straight-up fighting skill.
-Thunder Rune.
Sets a Thunder Rune, unleashing a thunderbolt against whoever steps on it.
-Special move: Minefield
Rapid casts Thunder runes in a scatter-pattern.

She became cold and hardened against hardship, performing well in almost impossible circumstances in a war that could not be won. Sophia was a combat medic, saving lives in a conflict that was becoming deadlier all the time.
  
  After the war she moved to western Europe and became a doctor for the Russian mafia, stitching up their wounded members among other, less wholesome activities. After the fall of the Soviet Union Sophia moved to the United States where she eventually retired and moved across the border to Canada. The southern states were much to warm for her tastes.
  
  Her vessel has taken the form of her 24 year old self, fresh from the military but tempered by age and experience.
   
• Personality: Sophia retains a certain coolness in her outward appearance though in her old age she's become softer than the woman that came back from the horrors of Afghanistan. She values simplicity in action and result, prioritizing the easiest path with the cleanest outcome.

Personality: Morgan describes himself a True Neutral individual. Few things in the world hold lasting meaning, and few things will withstand the test of time.

- Void reinforcement (a dark energy that strengthens objects)

Appearance: Hm? Oh, I can work with that.
Aaron's about 5'9" tall; other than the outfit, he is as he was on Earth.
History: Is there really a story to tell about an average Asian kid? There were no 'mysterious occurrences' in his life, unless you call everything being kept perfectly in-balance as mysterious... Which, in all honesty, you kind of might. Aaron didn't act on life; he let it act on him, and only when he saw something noteworthy did he pick himself up and fight against the flow to check it out. That's how much of his early life was spent, actually; doing as he was told, passively working through every problem that rolled his way in a nonchalant manner.
That changed once he hit high school, though; suddenly, a whole array of different subjects opened up to him, and though he kept that same monotony in things he cared not for, those that he did, he excelled in. It was also here that he met friends that lasted; ones that weren't as hopped up on hormones or teenage angst as the ones in middle school. They stuck together and had fun, lent one another a shoulder when they needed it, argued, laughed it off, and so on and so forth. College meant just another door opening up to him, but as life will be, things aren't always so clear-cut.
Personality: Aaron's the sort of person who slacks off far more than he should. Work comes second to relaxation, especially if that relaxation involves not hunching over a pile of papers to figure out the most inane of issues. He claims that it's simply a matter of efficiency to his friends, but none of them really buy it. He doesn't, either, but he'll laugh it off if worst comes to worst and just stick it out.
As a byproduct of this lifestyle, he's got a tendency to only be motivated when things interest him--that usually only includes games and interesting anime or manga pop up, but Aaron does have a tendency to dedicate himself to scientific research and reading when it suits him. He lands in the middle of the introverted/extroverted scale, though he tends towards the latter ever so slightly. He's always got the right mood for the right situation--at least, in his mind--so his own thoughts are just to 'go with the flow' and add what seems necessary to the equation... In one way or another.
Abilities:

• Magical Aptitude: While he himself begins with no offensive or defensive magic, Aaron is able to learn magic at a faster pace than most. It's only really because he's read so many different series, though; it's a lot easier to visualize something you want if you have multiple ways to reference it. He must fully understand how a certain form of magic works if he wishes to utilize it, though; doing so haphazardly and off of gut instinct will usually fizzle out and/or backfire.
• Analyze: While he may not be able to cast spells to kill, Aaron does have one skill to use: Analyze. By casting this on an object, he can pull out information about things he finds, and the skill only grows in the level of information it dumps the more unique items he checks out. Like those berries you were about to eat being poisonous. Y'know?

Equipment:

• Fancy robes. Because fancy.
• Staff: Can be used to bop people. Should be for magic, but as he has none, bopping it is.
• Bag o' Gold: Because starter funds.

Other: Has been friends with Akira for a while. The schadenfreude is palpable.

As for the youtube thing, her videos were like the creepy pasta ones were its just the narrator and pics or continuously looping video clips of things that went along with whatever the story was about so she was never on camera, and at that time she was just starting and wasn't popular enough for someone to watch one of her videos who'd recognize her voice. Plus she didn't disappear, she quit school. As for her parents not finding out, it was because during school hours she'd go to areas where she'd be able to get footage and pictures for her videos, or libraries so she could use the computers to type out her stories or edit her videos..

Appearance: Long wavy blonde hair, blue eyes, looking very princess-like
History: Maria was born to a mixed race couple, one being Japanese and one being British. This leads her to become quite popular in her school as she has those foreign features with her. Her also being a model student certainly doesn't help things, leading her to receive titles like "The Princess"
Personality: She is quite a serious and calm person, preferring to analyze the situation first before rushing in. She's also pretty introverted, preferring the company of her books over that to other people, which is why her popularity in her previous life can be quite a bother to her. She is the kind of person that wouldn't bother associating with someone whom she finds distateful.
Abilities : Her new body fully transforms her into looking like a princess, complete with a fancy dress. Of course, this makes her not really suited for physical, up close combat. But she is given a magic book where it allows her to cast basic magic spells right away. And the book also allows her to learn spells faster than usual.
Equipment: The Book of Magic. The book itself is quite heavy and sturdy, allowing Maria to use it as a blunt weapon if she chooses to. However, it's real power is to teach her magic spells without her needing to find a mage to study from. It also allows her to cast some basic spells without her really understanding them, just so she can fight right away early on.

Does it have to be that sort of YT channel, though? There are a lot of ways to spin similar tales without going to something that... Honestly doesn't seem like it have much of a following in the first place. Heck, there are a lot of channels that specialize in things like food, pop culture, politics, games, and so on and so forth. Wouldn't those make more sense for someone chasing a pie in the sky ideal?

It'd make sense in turn if it was done to deal with that minor social anxiety, but this is just me rambling. Honestly, that's the only point of contention I have left in regards to the character.

@Hammerman: As I said before, I don't really wanna have people doubling up on abilities, so... Might I ask for a bit more direction as to where you're taking the character's spells and such?
Also, as I said in the OP, start smaller. Characters will scale well into the future, so you just need enough to get over that initial hump.

Oh! Okay I think I see what's happening. The thing is she wasn't ditching school, she quit and it was her parents she was hiding the fact from.

As for the YT thing, there are some youtube channels that specialize those kinds of videos that are very popular. The Creepymcpasta channel alone has over one million subscribers. AS for why she chose that format for her videos there's two reasons. First, the videos themselves are easy to do; just pick the background and narrate the story. Second, that opens up a lot more time and energy she can invest into actually writing the stories. As for not showing her face, its because she wanted to be well off on the channel before her parents found out.

I imagine she starts off with some basic elemental magic, like Fireball, Thunder, Icicles, and Wind Sickles. Maybe a forcefield spell too if you allow it since she has to pair up with a frontline fighter otherwise.

Uhm.. Where did you find that? I googled it and although some states in the us allow people to drop out at sixteen with written parental permission, a few allow for someone seventeen to do it on their own, and a great deal more have no problem with someone dropping out at eighteen on their own.

So would either of these fix things to your liking?
1.) I make Abigail's age 18
2.) I have Abigail forge a letter from her parents.
