I'm now finished with my Advanced Algebra (other than the Hardest Problem in Advanced Algebra)! =D The author of the book, who has a PhD, said it took him 7 hours to solve his hardest problem, so I'm going to attack it tomorrow. Then if one or more of you wants to have a go at it (and knows about the fundamental principle of counting, permutations, combinations, and the binomial formula) then I'll put it here.

Last night, I came up with this quote that probably every other philosopher ever has come up with in retrospect: "The more you want, the less you have."

Well, it implies subjectivity. The more you want, the less you have in comparison to what you want to have. How much you have, when subjective, can only be said in comparison with the have-ness of others, hypothetical or otherwise.

The problem is that it doesn't apply objectively. Often, those who have much also want much.

It's not supposed to. It's merely subjective. Someone who has a billion dollars but wants a trillion dollars would likely consider himself to have little.
