Alright, I may as well ask something that's been bothering me for a while but won't really affect the IC much.

What exactly in Deep Ground is recorded to decide your future? Like, levels, kills, or what? How exactly does it work?

That's why I asked. It used to be k/d, but it seems that the reboot has less of a pvp focus than the old one, or maybe that's just me. Well, I should say that people don't seem to be as keen to beat up each other. Regardless, I'd still like to know if it's different or the same.

PvE belongs to the White Guild (the fantasy go getters) for a reason. It's for the people who don't care about levels and just want to play for the funzys.

From my understanding of the Guild descriptions aren't they also the closest DGO has to a mercantile guild?

Yes. Which is why no one joined the White Guild I suppose. But again, people can always change their Guilds and those few choose to live a life of simplicity through hard work in PvE. It's more like they think it's the honest way to earn a living. Like studying for all your classes.
