I found one rather elaborate looking source that claims the outfit was 'aping the cavalry style which was in fashion at the time', which, if true, explains why it looks like a Hussar uniform (at least, to my untrained plebeian eyes). I'm no Napoleonic Wars veteran, however, so I guess I can't claim anything solid.

Oh, and just in case anyone was wondering about what Drake looks like - pretty much like Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes wearing a Napoleonic-era Rifleman's uniform.

Surely some of the Inquisition high-ups would keep records. Or not. But I really like the idea of an incredibly disillusioned Inquisitor who carries on the duty of things he doesn't believe in, for the sake of humanity.

Writings was alright, few bits and and bobs that could be cleaned up, but all-in-all very good; not that I can talk, my writing is generally terrible!
