My nation was formally a colony of Yllendthyr it is mentioned multiple times in my sheet :/ That was why I originally went for Usea until we where told to go for smaller claims.


Not a colonial nation in the traditional sense so much as a former vassal. Fairyland doesn't count =P

I have to agree with Mihn, we're all just sitting here doing very little at this point and if it goes on much longer I'm beginning to think people will lose interest, it's not an uncommon thing.

Maybe let people with WIP sheets who you trust, or have a reasonable amount of work done, post in the IC along with the accepted? This way @Cyclone and other important folks with unfinished sheets could get in and we could start this before anyone tires of waiting.

On a different note for anyone interested the topographical map in the interest thread has a size scale on it.
Not counting the Mercali distortion which I should (but nobody would care), each pixel square on our political map (the one in the OOC) has the scale of 1231.1 km^2
which means if you measure length a single pixel length equals the square root of that so 35.08 km
This is using the normal scale political map with the dimensions of 1145x726 pixels.
At any other size you have to convert things on your own first.
Granted, if you do the math this means our planet has twice as much surface area compared to Earth (over a billion instead of less than half billion square kilometers).
So if anyone has an alternate scale I am all ears.
As things stand my pixel calculator put the size of my mainland without the vassal state right next to it already at 53% of the USA's size. For the record that's bigger than the whole of Europe.
Our nations are technically pretty big.

I already wrote down that yllendthyr's mainland is 5.28 million square kilometers in area.

Actually that was just a wild guess. in reality the entirety of Europe is apparently larger than the USA so Yllendthyr is roughl half of europe in territory. Not counting their vassal the Galhonore Commonwealth with which they'd have overall 80% of Europe's territory.

Because the current scale is bonkers.
It's only twice as large as the area of Earth which is given when the circumference of the planet here is 50k+ kilometers instead of the usual 40k.
I don't mind scaling things down but with that some other landmarks ma become downright tiny.
I think it's fine as long as people accept that their nations are quite big overall.
granted, I am not quite against downsizing, either.
In that way I can actually use some European country as comparison.
I always thought of Yllendthyr as kind of like France.

On a different note what are everyone's thoughts on races?
I beleive we never wrote a profile on dwarves and gnomes, for example.
And even above that, are all the various races can interbreed with each other?
I mean can half-dwarves, half-trolls, half-gnomes and such exist?
I am pretty sure fairy halfbreeds are impossible, both on the genetical or even the physical level.
