What he said was if it was right or not that he had to pay LP for skill drain even though he had pandemonium

And the answer is yes

Yeah, no, I don't think he's saying that at all.

EDIT: Context, Ammokkx... Anyway, Skill drain doesn't negate the paying aspect outright, since effects can still be activated. But that isn't the issue, it's the fact that Pandemonium is on the field and he STILL needs to pay.

Archfiends, or at least the chessfiends, technically have maintenance costs, obligatory ones, which cannot be negated nor start chains, thus are mandatory and can result in a loss of duel should they zap your field spell during your Dp and you are forced to pay up during Sp. Maintenance costs, as all costs, are not card effects, hence not negated by skill drain anyhow. The weird part is the interaction between coding probably.

Yes but the field card specifically says this in the first line of text:
Neither player has to pay Life Points during the Standby Phase for "Archfiend" monsters.

@The Grey Dust The problem is pandemonium + Skill drain. Shouldn't pay in that case, but does.

I think it's just an outdated card that didn't get any programming thought put into it by the ygopro group because no one really plays them. I also had skull archfiend out at one point and still had to pay life points with the field out.

Edit: Without skill drain that time.

@Ammokkxah well TBKrunk and i did 2 duels but in the first one he forgot to add 2 cards the character had opened even though i think its best the use the first match we had it'd be better to the RP accurate one.

plus it'd be a bit biased if i used the one Hayate won in

nothing wrong with that right?

@Satoshi Kyou Depends on what Krunk thinks of this. Don't see the harm in using a duel if there was a fault in the other one, but it has to be as accurate as this one (or more. idc.) and Krunk needs to agree with it.

@AmmokkxI can get some done around 12 eastern us standard time. I don't think my final will keep me that long could be wrong. One at the latest i should be home. As for friday I'm not sure I usually go out with my grand mother on fridays.
