Actually easiest way I would think would just for there to be an announcement at say dinner that bethorals have changed for the interest of their nations.

You know, we could always say that the ones that DON'T have a pairing never GOT a pairing?
Like, they went to FIND the one they wanna marry, since, say, their nation doesn't really like contacting other people. Because, come on, no nation that has an ounce of power would let another nation marry off their sons and daughters- there is cooperation there. If there is no cooperation, however, then there are no pairings.

So it may be that some people are there looking for a partner.

I like the idea of the re-randomization. It changes it up, throws people for rpers and characters for a loop. Adds another demintion to the whole process. Royalty has to be able to deal with sudden change,would show how the future rulers can handle curve balls.

@Aewin Mai and Niklas are from the last RP, so were never in the roll.

ALL characters other than Mai and Niklas will be in the re-roll and getting a new pairing.

I like that! It could be mentioned IC sometime as an explanation. It would also help them learn to keep their emotions out of important decisions.
