I was planning on having him head to the Butcher, then the Tanner, as he's not sure yet whether the monsters are natural like animals or if their meat/hides can be used. After that I was going to send him to the tavern to try and talk to more townspeople for info before he heads back to the Church.

Most shops, except for the blacksmith, are functional as well, so he can go same question the NPCs there if he wants as well. Just remember that the inn is Maria's personal residence, of you ever want to go there.

They don't have much to react to, in my honest opinion. The questions that have been asked of the Mayor are probably the same things that are on everyone's mind, and it'd be repetitive for everyone to ask individually. I vote for moving forward.

Paul intends on cashing his kills in as soon as possible to acquire goods and get settled before exploring. If anything, he'd probably pay a quick visit to each shop in town first as far as exploration is concerned.
