Hungarian greatswords, recovered by Ottomans in either Varna or Nicopolis I think. Middle one's 270cm.

Well, they were probably used to scare people, but still.

You can see the influence, at the very least in name and the cannon arm.

Everyone loves robot arms. Especially magic robot arms.

On an entirely unrelated note, Thief: Deadly Shadows is a whole load of fun. Well, if you find incredibly patient and methodical stealth fun. Which I do.

God I love hitting people in the back of the head with spiked batons.

I've watched my boyfriend play that! It's got an amazing storyline!

I dunno how many of you guys like sneaky-sneaky games, but I've come across a freeware stealth game, called The Dark Mod. It was heavily inspired by the Thief series. Bunch of missions you can download and sneak about in.

Okay I'll stop harping on about my raging hard on for stealth games now.

The stealthiest game I own is the Phantom Pain.

Back in my younger days, playing games without being discovered by teachers/parents is a stealth experience in its own.

This is why I Red Orchestrown you, Tovarich.

I like stealth games. I still need to beat Dishonored but I have a hard time getting into it. Sniper Elite 3 is a hell of a lot of fun. Best way to look at stealth games is like they're big elaborate puzzles.

Dishonored's some good fun as well. Had my most fun(and frustrating) experience when doing a Ghost/No kill run.

Grenades make for very good distractions.

Blink is the single most entertaining mechanic in a stealth game I've ever used. God, I love Dishonored.

I've been trying to do a no-kill playthrough the first time (which I think I messed up), and I am starting to re-think that position because I feel like I would enjoy things more if I could occasionally kill meddlesome shits. I also have a hard time getting the melee combat down.

The assassins that come after you look awesome, though.

I also did my Ghost run without unlocking any additional powers. I still felt like I had a ton of versatility in most situations.

The stealthiest game I finished would be Penumbra, I think. It's more of an adventure-puzzle game, but you still got to be careful if you don't want some creepy shit up in your face.

Still working on the update. In the meantime, I found a side project from the beginning of the game and finished it.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you: origin of Dumhuvud. You guys are welcome to write the same kind of stuff for your own character(s).

Reminds me of a comic appendix I once read - it was titled How Koschei became Deathless.

Nice story, by the way. Cats can be creepy.

Been a while since I read anything Hellboy. Never saw the particular issue about Koschei but bits of the series definitely influenced my writing.

Always thought cat people the softy type, until I found this guy.

It wasn't an issue in itself, if I recall correctly - it was part of either the Darkness Calls or Wild Hunt arc, as an addendum. I thought it was pretty cool, gave personality to Koschei.

Found it on some tumblr just now, two parts.

Also, sucks to be that cat if you ask me.

I may do something similar for Do'Karth later. I'd prefer he talk about his history with someone he trusts first.
