Appearance: Zaldar, being an Eltaran, doesn't have one set appearance as they are shapeshifters. Although Zaldar uses several appearances in particular, including:
Old Man (Tends to wear thick brown leathers)
A middle-aged woman (Wears a white labcoat atop a grey blazer and skirt)
A Monsterous, combat form (Unfortunately, this form was badly damaged during her escape with the Morphers, and so cannot adopt this form at the moment)

History: Eltar is a world surrounded by mystery, what it is like and what the people are like are almost completely unknown. Eltarans don't talk about their homeworld, other than describing it's undescribable beauty. All that is known is that Zaldar left Eltar under less than favourable circumstances. He travelled for quite some time and learned from multiple mentors. After a trip to earth, he studied under the tutilage of Zordon, almost 900 years ago, several hundred years before the resurgeance in the armies of the Power Rangers.

During her time studying under Zordon, he learned the secrets of creating devices to harness the powers of the Morphing Grid. It was shortly after an event that Zaldar keeps as a secret that she defends with his life, that he began to work with Galatec. During this time, she worked in Galatec's R&D department, utilizing her knowledge of the Morphing Grid to design many of their key inventions, including their grow-ray and the peacekeepers that they now utilize as footsoldiers. It all seemed tine to begin with, of all of the evil empires in the universe, maybe unifying people without bloodshed was a viable answer. It wasn't long before she realized exactly how wrong he was. They began controlling the peoples minds, sapping the free will. This wasn't a way to live, this was just as bad as Zedd or Master Org ever were.

It was during this time that she began to work on creating new morphers, using the vast resources at Galatec. He was soon discovered by Ruthalia, who let her continue for the moment, planning to take the Morphers once they were finished. As soon as she had finished, he was beset by the peacekeepers she had created. Little did they know of his ability to transform into a terrifying monsterous form. She fought her way through the Peacekeepers, but was badly wounded by them. Fleeing, he was forced to go into hiding before he took on the mantra of her mentor and decided to seek out "5 teenagers with attitude." whilst she got to work on the Zords

Hindrances: Having been wounded during her escape with the Morphers, he is unable to assume his combat form. She will need to heal for some time before he is able to form her monsterous form again.

Ascending: Although she IS able to ascend to become like the other non-corporeal Eltarans. She chooses not to, due to the enemies Time Warp capture technology that would capture her in a Time Warp
